Armored Core: The Final Push (Paused)

[Zahzi]

The man with the crowbar gave a grin, watching.

Quiet footsteps came from behind the man and grabbed the crowbar. The man turned to figure out what happened, only to have the crowbar slam it right into his face. Not hard enough to kill, but his face was never going to be the same.

Jarid.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

As the group surrounded and attacked Kelly, she curled herself up into a fetal position, and hoped they'd get bored and eventually leave her.

Unfortunately, the men didn't stop. Not until the boss had been knocked out cold by Jarid, only ending their beating on Kelly because they heard his body fall.
"What the Hell?!" The man who had been holding Kelly and started the beating growl, glaring at Jarid. "Where the ******** did you come from?!"  

[Zahzi]

Jarid only moved toward the group, still gripping the crowbar.

He then lunged at them, swinging it at the closest person.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

The unlucky fellow who had been hit went out cold immediately...

The whole group then charged right at Jarid all at once.  

[Zahzi]

Jarid looked at them with a cold expression, waiting for the closest one to come within reach before doing the same as he did to the last two.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

That man also went out, but the guy behind him took the opportunity to strike at Jarid, punching him in the abdomen hard, as the others continued to swarm in and throw their own hits in on Jarid.  

[Zahzi]

Jarid took the blows giving a wheeze at the body check before ramming his elbow into the chest of one of them hard enough to knock them down and give him an opening to move out of harms way.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

The group only followed Jarid, and the one he had knocked down began to climb back up on his feet to join.

Just as he got on his feet though, Kelly suddenly tackled him down, sitting on top of him and punching him.
"Jarid! Get outta here!" She yelled at him, shooting a glare at him - though it was not meant for him.

As she was distract, the man she was handling then punched Kelly in the jaw, knocking her off of him.
Since the others were handling Jarid just fine, he began focusing on beating Kelly, again.  

[Zahzi]

Jarid watched Kelly fall again, but wasn't exactly able to run over to her. So, he did the next best thing. He threw the crowbar with all of his might straight at the back of the mans head then turned his attention to the men around him.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Thankfully, the crowbar struck the man in the back of his head, knocking him out.

Kelly gave a grunt when the man fell on her, quickly shoving them off of herself before reaching for the crowbar.
While the others continued to swarm around and beat on Jarid, Kelly stepped in and began using the crowbar on them, knocking out one almost immediately.

Now only four left, the group split up.
Two went for Jarid.
Two went for Kelly.  

[Zahzi]

Jarid lunged at one of the men, his knee going for his chest while his fist for his face from the reaction.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

The man gave a pained grunt, before collapsing.

The other then punched Jarid in the back of his head, while he was preoccupied.  

[Zahzi]

Causing Jarid to tumble forward, going into a roll to recover and face the man. He then sprinted toward the man, jumping up and coming down with his fist going for his forehead.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

The man let out a pained groan, stumbling around as he was heavily dazed from the blow.

One of the men that had been fighting Kelly then wrapped his arm around Jarid's neck in a triangle choke hold, and (needless to say) began choking him.

The other one was also holding Kelly in a choke hold, using the crowbar by pressing it down on her neck while he had her pinned against himself.  

[Zahzi]

After awhile of being choked, Jarid summoned the strength to jump up from the ground and use his weight to make them man behind him tilt backwards and onto the pavement.
