154) How much do you know about that Band? hmm.. they started in 1981, and made their first album "kill 'em all" in 1983, then "ride the lightning" came out in 1984, they got rid of their lead guitarist (Dave Mustaine, who later created the band Megadeth) then at 1986, one of their most famous albums came out, "Master of Puppets" and during the M.O.P. tour, their Bassist, Cliff Burton, was killed on a bus on September 27, 1986. 2 years later they find another bassist, Jason Newstead, and create "...and justice for all" their 4th album, in 1988. in 1991, the self-titled album (or the black album most people call it) is released and is their most popular album. The band takes a break and their next album , "load" comes out in 1996, then "ReLoad" in 1997. In 1998, they make an album with the san fransico orchestra (SP) and make the "S&M" album. 1999, they have an album of Only covers of other bands, "Garage Inc." their most famous cover song in that album was "die,die, my darling" by the mistfits, bassist, Jason newstead, quits in 2001, and they have to find another bassist. in 2002, they find Robert Trujillo, former bassist for Ozzy, and the Suicidal Tendencies, joins metallica, In 2003, they release the "St. Anger" album, later in 2003, they start to make the documentary, "some Kind Of Monster" and since that, they haven't released any info about them, other than they are currently working on their next album. biggrin wow that was alot of typing sweatdrop
