Lexi looked up over at ger children. She smiled lightly pressing her lips to Valcom's cheek before getting up to assist Valaria. She patted Lucius on the shoulder. "Go spend time with your dad then..."she suggested quietly

"sling shots, spears,handmade bows yeah that's mostly it" Val muttered quietly

Xalidir shook his head.
"Nay young Val..it is not simply those...you still need a blade. Archers are made to attack from a distance yes..but they need to be able to fight off attackers who get close."he said tossing her a blade he had crafted. His blade in his right hand.
"Show me how you hold a blade first."he said softly.

"Good..now lets see how you handle one in combat.."he said softly and raised his blade..not truly threating her as he wouldn't go fully out on her..after all she was a student..a pratogee if you will.
