HE DID IT! HE DID IT, HE DID IT, HE DID IT! Triumphantly he pranced back from the hives towards his seat, with a honey-filled mouth and head held high. What a badass!

Jove sat on the ground next to the hive, and stuck his arm in a third time. Maybe he was going about it wrong, because he couldn't seem to find any honey. But at least the bees weren't stinging him.

Badass Level: 0

Ouch! He found the bees again. Jove jerked back so fast he hit his head on the leg of a nearby desk. It was a couple minutes before he felt willing to try again. This class was silly, he had known for a long time now he wasn't exactly a badass.

Finally, Jove shoved his arm into the hive and encountered something soft and sticky. Honey! He withdrew, his hand covered with the sweet substance. Ren said they needed it for ingredients, so Jove looked around in hopes of finding jars or containers of some sort... But none revealed themselves.

So he licked the honey off his fingers, enjoying it's sweet taste. Like spookies. It was clear this foxfire had a serious sweet tooth.

Badass Level: 3

Once his hand was clean, the pup stuck it back into the hive. And encountered... Not much. He flailed around a bit, accidentally ruining part of the hive, but definitely finding more honey. Was he starting to get the hang of it?

There we go. More sections of the hive were destroyed as Jove managed to acquire enough honey for whatever future potion they were planning, AND some extra to lick off his hands. He still didn't feel particularly badass... But he did feel smug as he returned to his desk, licking honey off his fingers. His brother was probably too distracted with the rest of the class to even admonish him about the amount of sugar he was ingesting.

Smoke spread across the hive like a sooty gust of wind, and Maddy suddenly realized, the bees were gone!

Tail wagging he pranced his tiny feet into the honeycomb.

Ow-oww-ouch! A cloud of stings followed after him.

In the smoke, it seemed the bees were left utterly confused. Now was the time to strike! Kiwi launched at them with a fierce growl, biting and flinging bees from the sky. One, two, three-

Down they all came, a lone horseman hovering above their crippled little bodies with a rumble of triumph.

Mission Hive Apocalypse accomplished.

... One could only wonder, if someone had perhaps slipped some distortion into that potion as well.

Despite the multitude of bee stings, it seemed his labors weren't in vain. Maddy's little snout found sweet golden honey, and he licked it up with a wag of his fluffy fox tail.

Beneath dark fur, the boil's face paled slightly. Makoto would tease him to no end if he knew. Nope. Not happening.

He licked his chops, turning to sit on haunches. Innocently.
