I'm glad. I found time for a shower tonight, and now I feel super clean! biggrin Plus, I don't really have much to do over the weekend so I'll have plenty of time to catch up on reading! biggrin

Things come and things go. Another season has passed by. Today is my final competition for marching band, and then I need to wait for next year to compete again.
Overall, I'm happy. Last year, to say the least, sucked a** and even if you let me meet the original actor of Darth Vader but only if I did drumline again, I'd decline. This time around, I chose pit because of my awful legs and asthma which keep me from marching. But it was THE GREATEST CHOICE I have EVER made!! biggrin biggrin biggrin It was a ton of fun, and practices no longer seemed grueling or like an absolute waste of time. They were enjoyable, and the only times I didn't want to go to marching band were when I had too much homework to do. Otherwise, practices were an awesome experience. Competitions were full of laughter and bonding, and tons of Mountain Dew. Band Camp was full of random games of manhunt in the auditorium where it was pitch black and we weren't supposed to be there. The pit people all have come to love and know each other, and we tell funny stories and overall, are like a family. I'm really sad to see Liam and Cicso go off to college... Pit won't be the same without them... But I'm glad for the experiences they brought us, and I really hope both of them enjoy whatever futures lie ahead.
Last year, everything seemed monotonous, and repetitive as hell. It was like all of it was useless, pointless events. This year, I don't want it to end. I love marching band like I expected to last year. This year is legitimately everything I expected marching band to be when I first joined. Thanks, everyone, for making this year what I really needed it to be. smile I'll be doing pit again next year, and I can't wait! It'll be a ton of fun, and I know it because pit will still be the same people for the most part, and we already know and love each other, and nothing can change that. Thanks for everything, honestly! I am so happy for all of it. This was the year I needed!

The colder it gets, the more snuggle time with kitties I receive.

I feel so overly accomplished. My teacher has this cube that you stretch out into a random bunch of tiny cubes. From there, you need to try and shift them all info place to make the large cube in the end. Finally, I did it, and she took my picture and will put it on the class door!! biggrin

10 days to my 17th birthday on the 17th! xd Gonna hopefully go see Doctor Strange while wearing my Eye of Agamoto pendant. I'm so excited to see his movie finally! heart
A lot of my friends doubt the movie because they're overanalyzing, critical-as-f*cking-hell movie watchers. But me, I enjoy movies for a damn good story, and I love Strange's story. Who doesn't want a movie about a man who, in a total tantrum runs to a cave in Tibet and learns magic from a total stranger?

Paladin Magnus Dawnguard That moment when you're a trans guy, but colleges don't know that yet so they send you mail to an all-girls college... And you're not sure whether to tell them, or go for it, cause what guy can resist being the only guy on a campus full of hot girls, am I right? xd Of course, if it's documented or if you've had a sex change already, I suppose that wouldn't fly. But still, the dating potential would be enormous, if you could actually get in. I say go get em, tiger. biggrin

Paladin Magnus Dawnguard Ohhhhh god. Can't Junior year just end??? My sister: Don't worry. It does end. Me: Yeah but not soon enough! (Seriously, 5 tests, 3 in one day, reading 5 chapters every 2 nights of an Old English book, and all of this is just for the lowest level classes except for the reading. Why the hell is my school so hard?! This is literally as easy as it gets and it's still a struggle!!)

Did your teachers say that it was going to be easy? (Just being honest) Hope you make it through, high school sucks, college sucks a bit more though if you don't have a little project. do some research into the colleges and see if they have any interactive programs going on. Mine has a Fish Lab, and they just walk the trail and do water quality most days, but it will get busy fast.

Mine has a Fish Lab, and they just walk the trail and do water quality most days, but it will get busy fast. I've actually never read Beowulf. I'm reading "The Once and Future King" right now which is really good, but a very slow read. I have had 4 in one day, sadly, and it was in 8th grade when I had 9 classes a day. My teachers flat-out told everyone they will never coordinate with any other teachers in the grade to see if we have tests that day. You can imagine how well that went over... sweatdrop Nah, my teachers never said it'd be easy, but I just find it ridiculous that the lowest level classes are still too hard. I'm hoping for an interactive college that'll go outside and do stuff. I don't like staying in one place for too long when learning (hence why I dislike school since you're sitting in a room for 1.5 hours at a time). I checked out one about 2 weeks ago, and it seems like one of the most interactive colleges in my state!
