Mirasande leaned against the wall of the house her sister had gone into. Yousei had to come out eventually, Mirasande just hoped that it would be before someone questioned why a hooded woman was leaning against a house for so long. She leaned her head against the wall and closed her eyes, waiting.  

[[Z_]]

Emille stepped from the house, staring angrily at Mirasande. "What do you want?" She asked harshly, gripping her knife.  

[[Faelan]]

Yousei watched as Emille stepped through the doorway and addressed someone close by. Curious, she stuck her head out, just beyond the door's frame, to see who it was. Though the figure was hooded, she recognized several strands of blonde hair that were nearly identical to her own. Her spirits lifted, and she slowly walked over to the figure. "Sister...?" she said, meakly, hoping that her suspicions were correct.

Camthalion was choking. The noose around his neck was getting tighter and tighter everytime he struggled. Although he was an elf, he wasn't immortal. Blood was rushing through his head, sufficating his brain from thinking logically. He couldn't do anything. People were cheering. He could do nothing. He was beginning to shut down. To sleep. For all eternity. All was silence. ~Wi...tium...Yo...Yousei...I'm...sorry.~  

[Raniak]

The young man who had introduced himself to the other guards as Seg watched with an emotionless face as the elf was hung. As he went silent in the grasp of death a small smirk crossed Seg's face. "Well....that's the end of him. Too bad, he didn't look that harmful. Was his death really neccesary for this crowd and all? Bah, guess he had it coming."

With a sigh he stood up from his leaned position on a post and looked into the crowd folding his arms. "Well, let's pack up. I think we're done here today." Looking behind him he saw the other guards had finished their taunts and had left leaving him alone. He stood eye twitching soflty. "Well....you could have at 'least' said goodbye...." Seg growled under his breath and looked at the crowd who was now starting to thin now that the climatic death was over. Folding his arms over his chest he thought over a few things silently in his head.

Kraid exited the house, turning down the street. "Cover yourself Elf, we're leaving," He spoke as he passed Yousei. "Emille, Go back inside," He added, looking down to his sister.
Miles followed Kraid from the house. "Come on, There can't be much time left."

Witium hopped up to his feet and followed Kraid impatiently after hearing camthalions voice. He concentrated and sent one back, "Camthalion, we're going to get you out of there no matter what!" The elf clenched his fists tightly but, followed kraid steadily trying to not ahve his impatience get the best of him. With tension growing he spoke to the shadowed, "Kraid, the path to the underground city isn't that far right?"

After a couple minutes he looked over to yousei, "Yousei..." He raised his open hand in front of himself and then clenched it tight, "Lets go bring Camthalion home."  

[[Z_]]

Kraid grinned, looking back to Witium. "Well that all depends," He began. "Can you swim?"
Miles shook his head, "You've got gills on you Kraid?".
Kraid sighed, "Why ruin the fun Miles? Supposed to get them worked up."  

[[Faelan]]

Suddenly, Karasu was hit with a horrible realization. Somewhere inside, she sensed that Camthalion was dead... She merely stood there for a few moments, hanging her head in remorse, before stepping outside to join the others.
~Yousei...~ Karasu began, ~Camthalion is.....~
~I know...~ Yousei broke in, having just received his final message. Her eyes were glistening, and her fists clenched, as she thought of how they had failed him. "We should leave, now.." she muttered to the others. She knew there was nothing they could do to stop the execution, but at least, they could retrieve him from the wretchid city.

 

[[Z_]]

Kraid handed each of them a small metal bar. "Hold that in your cheek," He said simply, reaching for the rope in his chest. He held out the rope, Waiting for Miles to Cover himself up.
Miles pulled his hood up and looked to Kraid, holding out his arms while Kraid tied them together loosely..
Kraid readied to tie the next ready person.

Witium stuck his arms to kraid. He looked down so his face was covered in shadow. Before hand though, he stuck the metal bar in his mouth. While waiting to be tied he shot thoughts into Karasu'smind, "I'm not going to leave that city without blood on my swords..." When camthalion died it felt like a spike railed through his soul. Hatred spirled through his mind but his expression was blank from the outside.

EDIT: Karasu could find nothing to say in response to Witium's message, though somewhere inside, she felt almost as though she agreed with him...

Yousei walked up to Kraid and accepted the peculiar metal bar, fitting it into her mouth, as he'd instructed. She then held out her hands for him to tie.

 

[[Z_]]

Kraid finished tieing up the group and turned to Karasu. "You'll pose as my pet. Do you need a Gill, or do you think you can make it?" He questioned, holding up the small metal bar.
Miles, Still unaware of Camthalions death, pushed Kraid forward. "Just go," He spoke quietly.
Emille turned her head away, Embarrased for the group. She headed back into her house, closing and locking the door behind her.
