Is it just me or is this blue ocean banner on the top kind of depressing.

It remind me of watching Finding Nemo, and feeling rather... blue when I got out. Not like sad, more like expecting everything to still be blue. XD

Well, there are a lot of darker blues and hues in that artwork, imbuing the viewer with sedate or depressed states if susceptible. Still, I only get the calming effect rather than the downs. sweatdrop

I think I'd prefer it more if it had more of the lighter blue color that's on the left. That part looks more soothing than the darker blue over there.

(I assume my avatar is supposed to be sitting in that shadow on the lighter blue side. Firefox hides my broken x. XD )

Then again, it could feel more gloomy for me because I've changed my bar color to purple, which doesn't go with this as well as the blue does.

Oo, green looks nice against that color too. *picks that for now*

So I completely missed this thread when I joined a few days ago. xp

Anyway, yes, it's true! I am a newby! I come from a longstanding history of Roleplaying, as I've been doing it for years, and it seems that despite all of the different and numerous other sites that I join I always end up having to look for another site. Not because of trouble or anything just because the sites die. And well, here's Gaia! And Gaia never dies.

So a friend of mine Obsidian Entity, suggested that I apply for this guild and I did and here I am!

Some stuff about me, I have a kitten named Gandalf the Grey. I'm a book buff, I LOVE reading. I live somewhere by the beach in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US, however I was born in the South - and a Southern girl never says die. Like the Goonies! Um, I major dork...if you haven't already noticed. I also love Buffalo Wild Wings and playing Xbox 360...and just about every other gaming console you can think of but I prefer the 360.

But yeah I think that just about sums it up. Hi you guys, I'm Serinal! biggrin
