Alex glared at Gil, before looking over at Demi.

Who had now hidden behind Gil, looking at Alex with a fearful expression and a quivering lower lip.

Alex's then had a dramatic turn.
"Demi, don't be scared." He cooed affectionately, suddenly holding her in his arms, rocking her back and forth. "Daddy's sorry he acted like that in front of you.."

Alex's hand then slapped Gil across the face as he gave him a glare before cooing back to Demi.
