speaking of food synthesizers.. you ever notice that in most popularscience fiction stories that have food synthesis.. the synthesizer also creates the dishes and utensils.. and when they explain how the process of synthesis works they somehow leave that part out..?
In theory if they can synth food.. yeah they can synth the dishes.. and anything else for that mater as long as they have a subatomic particle creator of some kind or a supply of with their tech easy to collect and store basic building block particles.. but nooo that's too far out there, eliminates oh so many plot possibilities, makes life too easy for the characters...
that's one thing that keeps scifi scifi to me.. silly not very well thought out implementation of technology XP
