Didrika looked off to the side, thinking she heard something before coughing much worse this time. It was painful, much more than it was just moemnts ago. She looked down into her hand and her eyes widened. What was going on?! She stared at the blood in her hand with shock.

Spoofle bounced frantically, making sure everyone was following.

"Maybe this is why the panda says we shouldn't have hearts..." Lavi thought to himself as he felt his heart fill with dread.

With so much Tension, Lenali couldn't help but feel as if the worst had happened. She prayed Didrika would be okay

Vexis watched Didrika from the bushes. He had stumbled across the pair but refused to reveal himself.

Damn. The little girl will ruin everything. He quickly snuck away in an attempt to join the others. He fingered the innocence in his pocket.

So long as we have the innocence its fine . . . He silently cursed his luck. He heard rustling from a few feet off and noticed the shine from Kanda's sword. Vexis immediately chased after the small group.

She gasped upon seeing the girl cough up blood. Carlotta covered her mouth in mock horror, "Blood?"

Preparing for the worst, Kanda's hand lingered on the hilt of his sword. He walked quickly, glancing in each direction for the missing girl.

Allen looked sadly as Lavi and gave him a sad crooked smile. He looked up, hearing the voices more clearly now, he hesitated. "D.. Didrika? Didrika!" Allen forced himself forward, hoping his assumptions were correct.

"why now... why now...?" Didrika spoke quietly and hugged herself as she shivered. What was going on?! Her own thoughts drowned out any noise around her.

"Didrika! Where are you! Please!" Lavi could not imagine what had happened to the girl or the condition she would be in. He just hoped that she would still be....

Lenali looked from side to side, hoping Didrika was okay somewhere. "Didrika?!"

Vexis grabbed Lenali by the hair again. "I found her." He said, quickly pshing Lenali aside and walking past her. "Now the dead weights must go back."

Kanda frowned when he looked at Vexis. "Hm?" He questioned his words.

Allen looked back at Vexis also and then back in the way they were heading. He needed to get to Didrika, they needed to find her.

Carlotta wasn't sure what to do with the suddenly ill girl, she simply watcher her and frowned unhappily at the scene. "Whats... wrong?"

"Its quite simple." Vexis said slowly. "We have a traitor in our midst." He took out Ddirika's innocence from his pocket and held it for all to see.

"That's... Didrika's...." Lenali stared at the necklace in his hand.

"Give me that!" Lavi hastily snatched the necklace from Vexis' hand. He looked down at the cross-shaped necklace and his heart sunk. "It's definitly her's, no mistaking it..."

"I don't...." she began but was cut off by more coughing and more red splattered on the ground. She stared at the color. Last time that happened, she had willed herself to live and she had been able to absorb Lavi's energy. But she didn't know what to do this time. Of course she wanted to live, but would she absorb Carlotta's energy...?"

Vexis snatched the innocence back from Lavi and tucked it away. "I know its hard to believe, but its safer with me."

Vexis turned around and looked at Spoofle. "Gonna lead us calmly now?"

Allen stared at the necklace with a terrified expression. He was silent for the most part, and then looked back at Didrika's golem. "Lets go..!"

"Hm.." Kanda mused to himself, inspecting the innocence before Vexis put it away. His eyes narrowed in spite and also looked down at Spoofle. "This can't be good.." Kanda mumbled.


Carlotta was rendered speechless from adrenaline, she stared wordlessly at the girl as she coughed. "I think.. you should..." She stopped mid sentence.

Spoofle, not undertsanding anything, kept spazzily bouncing. But it recognised the necklace and promptly tried to attack Vexis.

"Spoofle! We don't have time for that! We have to find Didi!"

"Please! Spoolfe!"

(Now is the time to eat the puff ball)

Didrika put her hand to her chest and her eyes widened. "Car-Carlotta....?" She asked weakly. "Did you happen to see.... a cross necklace..... anywhere.....?"

(she told me too! XD)

Vexis eyed the puffball and quickly snatched it. He then proceeded to put it in his mouth. Spoofle's antennas flicked violently betrween hsi lips. He smiled.

Lavi's eyes widened. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!! GET SPOOFLE OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!!!"

Lenali gasped. "Let it out! We need it to Find Didi!!!"

Didrika's eyes darted back and forth. She pushed herself onto her hands and knees and began to slowly crawl, trying to see any glint of metal that would signal the hiding place of her innocence.

Allen stared at Vexis in shock. "H-hey! Spit it out!" He gasped, taking a step towards the man. "What are you doing?!"

Kanda let out a low growl, he was beginning to lose his patience with the group. At this rate, something more terrible then they had initially thought may happen to the girl. "Let the golem go."

"Does the necklace have something to do with...?" She asked, her hand still over her mouth. She could feel her lips curl into a wicked grin. Carlotta tried her best to ignore the pain she felt, there was no time for moral wrongs and rights.

Vexis violently shook his head, a mischevious smile on his face. "Mish tashty." He said, mouth full. Taking note of their annoyed faces however, he quickly spat it out. Vexis chuckled. "Can't wait to try it again!"
