Teen Titans: Back to School

Azar sighed. He totally agreed with Maya. Math was probably the worst subject ever invented. Mostly just to fit in, he began writing out the problem.

Metara watched the students carefully. She wasn't in the mood to fall prey to any more pranks like the ones from the morning. This time she was prepared. So far it seemed like everyone was doing their work.

Maya started to get frustrated with the problem and just scrimbled all over the paper. "Last period....I dont really care...." She said quietly.

Toby gazed at the problem. The entire question was just meant nothing to him, it didn't resonbate or make him desive a soutlution coming to the answer. He hands to began to flood with a panicky sweat as with reading the questions dozens of times. Still no answer came to him. He would have to use the unqiue branch of Toby maths and hope it came to a sensible answer.

Mrs. O'Neal pleasently sat donw at her desk and took off her glasses.

Maddie walked in and sat down.

"Hello!" Mrs. O'Neal said "I dont think we have met before."

"Um im Maddie" she said plainly.

Azar stared at the imposing math problem. Memories of doing math came back to him and he began working at it. It probably would end up being wrong, but at least he would have something on his paper.

Metara flicked through the book, going over the lecture notes. By now, these kids would know the first day of school lecture. They didn't need it, which meant they could just do math instead.

Voila walked into study hall eagerly. She ignored the teacher. Settling down at a desk, Voila pulled out the math problems she had to do. Might as well get them over with, Voila thought as she began to write in answers.

Maya accidently yawned and her powers made the chair mrs. Metara was sitting on move away and making Mrs. Metara fall. "Oops..."

Toby placed his pen down with much difficulty his clammy hands held a firm grip other it. Stress and his old friend panic set in. He'd finished but had he finished to early ?, everyone else looked so emberessed in their work while it looked like he'd finished early, what he'd done stupidly wrog ? and was asked what he thought it was and got in trouble. He took a deep breath adreline soaked breath as he tried to manically calm himself down.

Azar held in a chuckle and managed to keep his eyes on his paper for the most part. His body shook slightly in suppressed laughter.

Metara's eyes narrowed into dangerous slits as she picked herself off from the ground. She was definitely going to reinforce her chair to the floor once this class was over. "Well, I hope you're all done. Does someone want to go to the board and do the problem?"

Maya did a slight smile. She didnt bother raising her hand. She just sat trying to be a "good" student.

Toby kept his head down trying to avoid his view cacthing the teachers while trying depseratley not to make it appear to drastically obivous his keeping his head down. Please come on please out of the entire group someone put thier hand up and save the others some embarassment..please.

Maya sighed and leaned on her chair. "When will we even need this in our lives....Math is a waste of time." She said quietly to herself.

Emerald started chewing gum in class.

"Okay every one please sit down and try not to make too much of a rucus" Mrs. O'Neal said to the class.

Maddie did just that.

Mean while Min sat in her english class trying to count to ten in english.

Voila sat down. The boredom started now, and would continue for who knows how long. She sighed, wishing that time would move faster.

Azar didn't bother raising his hand. Why should he? He hated math, thought it was a waste of time. And he didn't know much about it.

Metara was unpleased that the students appeared so unresponsive. "Alright, how about you go and do the problem?" Metara's slim finger pointed towards Toby. "What's your name?"

Emerald glanced up at the clock and moved her head to the side. The clock struck 3. She blew a bubbled and popped when the clock rang.

Maya looked up confused as she heard the bell. "Well, I guess it's time to go." She said with a smirk up at Metara.

Toby realsed a huige sigh of relief the flooding sweat ceased as the stressdufl situation was blown other by the relief of the bell blowing away any possilbe embarssment he could have suffered at the hand of the dizzying complex equation which had been placed in front of him. He grabbed his bad and prepared to maneouvr his way through the thick concentrated hoards of people.
