Shizuka laughed and waved away her brothers compliment. After unpacking her few belongings she peeked into the bathroom that was hers and hers alone. "Hey, if you don't mind I think I'm going to take a quick shower. Between the travel and everything else I think I could benefit from a quick rinse," Shizuka informed her brother who was currently lounging on her bed. She really did desire a bit of a soak, however she could also tell her brother wasn't quite as relaxed as he pretended to be. She had a feeling that letting him go check on their host would put his mind at better rest. He might claim it was a sense of duty, but she knew her brother well enough to at least be suspicious that there was a little more to it than that.

Seto had almost completely slipped into unconsciousness when he heard footsteps approaching from down the hell. Wonderful, he thought. He'd endured the pain just to have to suffer the shame of his weakness at the last moment.

"Mmm," Seto mumbled, not coherent enough to form proper words at the moment, yet still wanting it known that he was at least conscious. At least in this moment at any rate.

"I'm fine," Seto mumbled petulantly, lips brushing dangerously close to Jounouchi's ear as his head slumped against the other man's shoulder.

Seto sank back into the pillows as Jounouchi dropped him gently onto the bed. The pain in his head was subsiding slightly, although he still felt fairly lightheaded. Had he been able to move he would have cringed upon noticing Jounouchi making the effort to remove his shoes. Too drained to protest though he simply hoped this would be the full extent of the undressing.

"Thanks," he mumbled as he shut his eyes, not even fully conscious of having formed the sentiment until after it was expressed. He'd deny it later if he had to, after he woke up.

Seto instinctively reached up to bat away the hand brushing against his forehead. Delirious though, he lost his train of thought halfway through the motion, and instead ended up lightly clasping the rough hand in his own. He clung to it for a few moments, unchallenged by the hand's shocked owner. Still not fully aware of anything he had just done, he let go of Jounouchi and let his own hand fall to his chest. With a soft, though not particularly pained moan, Seto finally drifted off to sleep.

Aww, wasn't that just touching...disgustingly touching. His blond target and the rich orphan growing closer was no bad thing, it'd make tormenting the both of them that much easier. Still, the mood was much to calm, much too relaxed. And Jounouchi seemed inclined to go back to his bratty sister - another possible target, but not one he'd yet fully formulated a plan for.

After one last moment of deliberation the spirit drifted down and clenched ethereal tendrils around the sleeping CEO's throat, experiencing a pleasant shiver of delight as the body beneath him began to gasp, then writhe, fighting for air.

Seto had only been asleep for a few minutes when an unpleasant weight settled onto his chest. Fractions of a second later he felt his throat restrict, although he couldn't discern any tangible restraints against his neck. His eyes flew open as he settled back into uncomfortable consciousness. He attempted to gasp, attempted to cough, attempted to do anything that would force air either into or out of his lungs. He heard Jounouchi stop in the doorway, heard faint noises that might have been some sort of shout or directive. At present Seto was unable to focus clearly on whatever the blond happened to be doing, he was too busy fighting off whatever invisible malady had set upon him this time.
