The Naga's Scales.

There was alot going on distracting Vincent from focusing on anyone or anything. That is until Caly cried out for him, he spotted her in time to get a glimpse of her and her captors before they disappeared into green smoke. He looked to Chase and gave him an apologetic look before racing out of the building and melding with the shadows of the forest.

[Kumquat Assassin]

Kite had been enjoying her ice cream, chatting about Casla her sleepy little hometown, and about the sea when the one named Caly poofed in, pleaded for help, then poofed away. The purple-haired girl had been midway spooning a bite of ice cream into her mouth. "Wha?" she let the spoon fall back into the bowl with a clatter. Then another truth sunk in, Aeris had poofed as well! Slowly, as if trying to go unnoticed, she slipped out of the chair and looked around for any sight of a familiar face.

A mechanical messenger entered the Naga Scales. It was an oval device lacking in limbs that somehow hovered above the ground.
"I seek the Jarians."

Viva looks up form his conversation with Xi to the little messenger.

"Yes? You have found them. What is it that you need?"  

[Kumquat Assassin]

Eventually she found Viva, the name man that was from the Jarian club. "Mister Viva?" Kite addressed the man quietly when she drew closer to where he was.

Viva manges to hear his name. He turns and looks at Kite while waiting for the device to respond.

Xi walks over and stands beside Viva. She affectionately latches onto his arm and looks over at kite as well.

"Yes?"

Lee got up from his seat. "Let's bounce Zetsumei."
"Right." Zetsumei stood and walked into the shadows, disappearing.
Lee followed him out.

[Kumquat Assassin]

"My friend poofed," she glanced at Xi and waves at her before continuing on with her explanation, "One of the other person poofed in with these people and then poofed away and then Aeris poofed away as well!" Which also meant she probably didn't have enough money to pay for her ice cream and Aeris's drink unless the woman had already payed for everything.

Xi looks at Kite trying to determine what Kite wanted.

Viva raises a eyebrow at her.

"They "poofed" away? I'm assuming you mean teleported right?"  

[Orchestrated Chaos]

A small white kitten waddled into the building, a note on a small coin purse in it's mouth. He stopped in front of Kite and meowed, pawing at her feet. The note read:

Kite,
I am sorry for my hasty leave. Something came up that I must take care of. Here is enough coin to pay for my drink, your ice cream, and anything else you would like to have.

Chase blinked, taken by surprise by Vincent's hasty leave.
Hearing possible trouble, he made his way over to Viva and Xi as well as the device and Kite to see if he could possilbly help with the "poof" problem.

A screen appears on the device.
"Greetings from the empire. We have claimed your island resort as our own. If you desire it back then meet our demands.
Bring us the weapon cache of the Jarian Clan and your precious island shall be returned to you."

Viva turns and looks at the screen.

"What does your empire want with the Jarians weapns?"  

[Xx_Raziel-Phoenix_xX]

Raziel had been quietly observing the comings and goings for the last few hours, and certainly gave interest in the mechanical messenger. But after it's initial statement, he no longer considered it neutral. He stood from the vacant card table and drew his sword, which instantly burst into it's signature blue flames.

"They want exactly what they all want. The same thing we Jarians, and indeed every goodly person, strives to prevent."

With a flash he was gone, standing directly behind the offending messenger, his eyes blazing with his righteous fury.

"We will not cow to your demands, and you will see nothing but the tips of our swords and the fury of our might."

And with that statement, he raised his sword and sliced cleanly through the messenger, dispatching it with ridiculous ease. He sheathed his blade and straightened his clothes.

"Sorry for interrupting you, Viva. But I found it ridiculous to even ask their reasons. There is no reason for anyone to possess these weapons, which is exactly why we lock them up and never give them a second thought."

He gave a small sigh and sat himself at the bar, making himself a drink before moving on to the obvious business at hand. The reclaimation of their island resort.

Beam turrets aim at Raziel for a moment before the defense stand down. Viva looks over at Raziel. He clearly was annoyed with his actions.

"Was that really necessary? I agree that we shouldn't give into their demands, but form their point of view; it would've been better if they didn't know where we truly stand. Now we can't launch a surprise attack."

Viva sighs and rubs his temples. With Lutia incapacitated, Raziel and him were in charge. He looks around at the Jarians that were currently gathered. Most of them had just come back form intense missions.

Xi tugs shyly at his arm getting his attention. She whispers something to him which causes him to smile and nod before kissing her on the forehead. Viva turns his attention to Kite.

"Do you have any special abilities?"
