James pointed, "Two blocks from here, the reddish brown building." he said, and he led her to it.

She followed, and looked up at the building. Pulling her lightning Hawk, she went into the building, on high alert. Anything could happen... anything could be in here.

James sniffed the air, "Ugh, zombies wandered in here a long time ago." he said, the stench of rotten flesh was horrible. "Okay, let's check the rooms, tell me if you see anything."

She nodded and stared to explore the rooms, finding tattered clothing, broken electronics, Cookware, decomposing furniture and... I found a blanket... well, most of one, and a few cans of beans. Not sure if they are still good though.

James nodded, "Canned goods last nearly forever..." he said, and he had found some small, worn pillows, and another blanket, "Here, stuff them in this duffle bag." he said, "Wanna keep searching?" he asked.

She wrapped the canned beans in the blanket, and set them in the duffle bag, We should. We don't know if there is any thing really important or anything else we really need, like ammo, or some new knifes. she said, and started to look around again.

James nodded, "I think there was a war vet guy here... 3rd floor." he said, "C'mon, he might have something."

She followed him up the stairs, pick-locked the door, and went inside. She noted that the room was more organized then the rest of them. Her eyes lightened, Look a gun cabinet. Lets see if we can find a key. she said, starting to look around.

James walked in, "I gotta key." he said, and he pulled out his pistol, and shot the hinges, then yanked the doors off, "There."

She peared in... Nothing. its empty. she said,

James nodded, "Okay." and he went through everything else.

In a drawer, he found a display case, and inside there was a old WWII combat knife. "Well... We got a knife."

better then nothing. she said, then paused, Wait.. if there was no gun, and I saw no kitchen knives... why would they leave a combat knife behind? be careful. it might be rigged.

James nodded, "Aye, I haven't checked the drawers in the kitchen..." he said. He opened the case, and he grabbed the knife, "Hm..."

She grabbed his hand, and pointed, Look. There is fishing wire leading to something behind the gun cabinate. she said, Put the knife down... please.

James looked at her, then the knife, "Well... okay." he put the knife back. "Well, I'm checking the kitchen." he said, and he went into the kitchen.
