Kage walked down the hallway and set stuff into his locker. He grabbed what he needed and headed to class. He teleported from the hallway into class in a puff of darkness.

(( Nooo... you can't use both. They are exact opposites. To use dark, you need to be able to control and use dark energies, and is is the same with light... only... light energies... o-o; *Has studied under many peoples.* ))

(( Well, darkness is the absense of light and vise-versa. So if you can take the darkness away and use light, then you can do the same thing vise versa. You just seperate the energies and use them.))

(( Nut. You cannot create light without a source. Such as the sun. If you have a closed in room, there will forever be shadows in that room until a source is made. Because once you take shadows from a corner, they are simply created again.
Light is something completely different on its own that can diminish dark in an instant. XP ))

(actually, according to my standards, he should have said darkness and light, although yeah. you can only use one.)
(if a person tries to contain both darkness and light, it will only make trouble...their mind will be a constant battleground of light vs dark, neither would ever win so it would make the host completely and utterly insane, chaotic flashes between a healing aura and a terror seeking rampage would occur outside the body causing an energy i call chaos)
(and shadow, i see as the perfect mix between light and dark, you need a light source to make shadows, if there is no light, then there is only darkness. and for the shadow to be cast a block, or area of solid with no light source(PURE darkness), would need to exist, however it is impossible for a human to contain the power, they would overload and eventually lose all upper consciousness thoughts, or explode in a bloody and explosive bang while releasing both life and death energies, the second more common)
(so yeah, choose one or the other, sorry bout the huge explanation)

Reds eyes widened "I'm sorry! please don't kill me for killing the teacher!!". he cowered in his seat, obviously not thinking the situation through.
(um... well, water and elec. don't work well together, personally though, i think electricity comes under air)

She sighed and rubbed the back of her head, then looked around for entertainment. She thought for a moment, then flicked her hand against the shadow-covered floor. When she pulled her hand back up, a book followed, straight from the shadows. She opened it and started reading, getting quite stuck in it.

Red looked out slightly..."book?" he was very suddenly behind Fenris and reading the book, completely unsure about his topic. the amazing fact was that he was actually interested in a book.
(i think i scared him off...)
