Well back in the early days isn't such a big deal. I've noticed that they made fishing and gambling quite a bit harder then it used to. That's one of the reasons I've been turned off by fishing...

Don't fish, so I could careless, I just like Barton. Modest, humble, and so on and so forth, that's why I chose Barton, that and Rufus... lol But we won, and we did it fairly... ^_^ quit being so sour about it... that and there's always the next event!

well i got screwed.

My college apparently tricked me into signing a loan outside of the government loans i had, when i was told everything was taken care of.

Apparently i signed it and agreed to pay it off 60 days after i graduate and any credit on my student account would go for it. Well the after a nearly two months of trying to get the deposit from my apartment back in student housing apparently it went to the CEF loan.

What does a security deposit on a dorm room have to do with a loan. That shouldn't have been counted as credit on my student account. A deposit is a insurance policy not a credit. That was mine and my mom's money.

We realy needed that money too. God this pisses me off. My school said nothing about a CEF loan and the only loans i knew about were loans i had to pay off 6 months after i graduated. that school just keeps screwing me every chance they get.

Thjey lied to me about getting a BA in two years, they didn't teach me enough video editing and i asked if what they had was what i needed to become a video editor, and now they do this to me.

Hmm.. Maybe you guys could be decent people to talk to to get perspective on a decision I'll be making very soon.
I am trying to go back to Japan any way I can so I can spend more time learning about Japan and ...well... time with Yurika. So there are a few venues I can take that will help me to arrive at this outcome:
1. The long way. I can spend about a year in Japan as a college student - however, it will cost between 6-11k and I need to be a Junior in college and have 60 transferable credits and know how to read and speak Japanese (I currently have 20 credits and have really fullfilled only 2 semesters and 1 summer class)
2. I can possibly go to school in Japan where they teach you Japanese; the class is about 6-9 months, and it's possible to teach English as a job while in this process. The time frame and education in this process is immediate, however I still need quite a bit of cash to get over there and establish living accomadations which would cost at least 5k (which I don't have at the moment).
3. If everything my dad says is correct then it's very probable I'll be hired to work for PG&E again and earn roughly 12k in a few short months. If the odds are in my favor, I could even land a permanent position at this Power Plant which could very well earn me 50k+ yearly.

HOWEVER. I am currently signed up to resume community college to further my education (12 more units), am presently unemployed, and have about 3 weeks before a full refund on classes and expenses expire if I decide I want take the chance of being hired for winter work at the Power Plant. The only problem with holding out for PG&E is I'd forfeit my semester of college for the possibility of never being called to actually work - it's only a chance they call me since I have not spoken with my past PG&E supervisor directly, only my dad has and he said it sounded in my favor to the point where he wants me to drop school this winter.

I'm sorry that this is a TLDR post out of the normal, but since it's a very important issue for me I have to be complete as possible to get a thorough response from anybody who might have a good option for me I could've overlooked. Please share your input with me, this is a very dire time for me actually sweatdrop

You could do #1...but, as you said, that route is going to take a while...
#2 is pretty much impossible, unless you do #3 first, then bail on that and hop onto #2...if time is of the essence, this is the route to take...

Just don't let the lure of the 50k/year entice you - once you sign up for a "real job", you'll quickly find that the time you will need to jet off to Japan is now gone...
