Leora rolled her eyes. "Biased." she muttered angrily. "That's what you are. You're biased. Lovell was perfectly civilized . . . well until you came in and attacked, which I thank you for coming to save me and everything, but he didn't start getting wild until you came . . ." she said with a shrug.

"He was going to go wild any second. If I hadn't come in and stepped between you two, he would have changed and ripped you to shreds. As for civilized, he's French, I would completely expect him to act like that. Most werewolves you're going to meet sometime in your new eternal life, you'll know what I mean when I say there animals . . ." Lance said as the elevator went down to the lobby and Lance began leading his wife to the car Eric had lent him.

Leora rolled her eyes. "I think you've just been around the wrong kind of werewolf." she said. "That's how steryotypes come about you know. Someone encounters a few of a type of person and immediately assumes that all of that type are exactly like that and if they aren't then they make excuses for it." she said as she followed him.

"Leora, this isn't a stereotype, this is our nature. By nature, vampires hate werewolves and vice-versa. I've been around for a couple centuries, I've seen hundreds of werewolves, I know what I'm talking about." Lance said as he looked back at a blonde haired girl and glowered at her angrily over his shoulder. "And if you think I don't know, just go talk to that girl over there, I'm sure she'll be delighted to meet a vampire like you." He chuckled as he opened the door to the car.

Leora glared at him. "Sure." she said, determined to prove him wrong. She walked over to the blonde haired girl and smiled, waving cheerfully. "Hello!" she said happily with all the friendliness in the world.

Lance looked back at her, slightly surprised by her answer and decided to lean against the side of the car and watch what happens, as well as get in between them if the girl were to go wild.
The blond girl, Melissa, glared at Leora when she approached and ignored her friendly attitude. "What do you want, leech?" She said venomously. She hated vampires, especially the one in front of her's mate, the prince. Word had spread about how he had killed her father.

Leora flinched a bit. "I just want to talk." she said and then decided to be honest. "That and prove that werewolves aren't as horrible as my friend says they are." she said with a friendly smile.

Melissa only glared at her. "We aren't horrible, you all are. Just take him for example," She gestured at Lance with a furious glare who returned the look. "Just a while ago he killed my dad, no doubt just for sport. Even you as filthy a bloodsucker as any of your murderous kind."She said with obvious despise.

Leora's eyes widened and she was filled with pity. "I'm sorry for your loss . . ." she said sympathetically and wondered who her dad was and had a sinking feeling that she knew. "What was his name?" she asked, wanting to confirm her suspiscions.

"Lovell. And that jerk friend of yours killed him while he was out getting food for me, my mother, and himself." She said a little sadly remembering how her and her mother had waited for his return but he had never come, the long hours she had spent waiting for her loving father to return.

Leora winced and couldn't help but grab her throat and rub it at the memory of nearly being killed by Lovell. She coughed a little. "Once again . . . I am very sorry for your loss but . . . it wasn't for sport that my friend killed him . . . it was . . . to save me . . . while I was still human . . ." she said hesitantly.

Melissa only looked at her with suppressed rage and then at the prince of vampires who had killed her father then back at Leora."Maybe he was right to kill you, now that you're a vampire." She said coldly and turned around to leave but stopped. "I'm Melissa, by the way, I'll be here tomorrow if you want to talk then." She said, in a way, asking if Leora could hang out with her, though she didn't want to admit it and left.
Lance walked behind Leora when Melissa was gone. "So how did your little meeting go?" He asked as he lead her back to the open car.

Leora smiled. "It went well. She even invited me to talk to her tomorrow if I wanted to." she said cheerfully. "She's just a bit . . . pissed at you because you killed Lovell . . . who was her father . . ." she said, explaining things a bit. "She had a bit of a biased view as well. She thought you had only killed him for sport . . . really interesting getting two completely different views of two types of people." she said as she got into the car.

Lance looked at her when she said Melissa had invited her. "Leora, I thought you learned with Lovell you can't trust werewolves, now that your a vampire they have another reason to kill you." He said, warning her to not go with Melissa. The drive to the beach didn't take too long, soon, he was parking near the beach and he looked over to a surfboard shop with a smirk.

She noticed Lance looking at the surfboard shop and stretched. "You can surf if you want to, but I perfer swimming." she said nonchalantly.
