lol i guess it'd help if i got the latest one. and of course minecraft.net is timing out. i'll keep trying till i get on the site.
i noticed david trying to connect and it said disconnected and the reason why.
SO
the good news is, by tomorrow hopefully WE will have our server. i just need to get the latest file from minecraft.net

k for tonight we have made sure it can work. now tomorrow i'm gonna figure out how to change difficulty settings and such. then we have a place, atleast until trenn can get his happy a** online and host one for us.

i'm gonna stay off it to see how bad it gets without me on it. if its all good i'll try getting on if it lags then poop...

it was doing that for me, i just waited a bit and eventually the ground showed up

yeah, if it were a pro server and everyone's internet was perfect i'm sure it wouldn't matter, but in an imperfect world, this is what happens, distorted reality.

Just played on it with Oaty. Had a few problems, but it was playable. I think we should clear out a big flat area for a town or something by the way. Also, what's up with the dirt around spawn?

ah booo. minecraft.net needs to not be the main download server for updates, its the reason why it goes down so often.
