Syn continued to dig, finding more and more things from jewelery in the shape of flowers to other things. This was crazy bit he did not stop digging well, that was until he heard a tapping on the greenhouse window. He blinked before turning his head to see Gerry trying to get his attention. Huh. When had she gotten here? He place his spade aside before standing up, dusting off his jumper and walking out to greet her. "Hey, Miss Gerry." he greeted the vixen cheerfully. "What can I do for you?" he asked as he gently pushed away a trail of ivy that seemed determined to curl around his arm. Sigh. The curse of being a Dryad, all plants decide they want your attention. If not the plants, then the animals. He didn't mind them, not at all bit still. He waited patiently for the other to respond, while wondering why she was over here. Then he remembered that Gerry came to check on the herbs that grew in the greenhouse. He had forgotten about that. Occ:

Gerry chuckled at Syn's formality not that she mind. Still she was curious as to what the young healer was doing as she can see the hole he's dug up and seeing the gold shimmering petals before waving him a greet. She answered him by pointing at the herbs she's been tending to, wanting to check up on their health and growth, though being a motherly figure, she plucked a strand leaf off Syn's hair and giggled. Her ears swiveled towards where Syn was digging as she titled her head a bit wondering what's going on, noticing the faint gold color and the jeweled flower laying beside the hole, she looked back at Syn with curiosity as she wonders what the dryad had gotten himself into or at least what he's found. She waited to be invited inside since this place technically belongs to Syn even though it's given to her and Avery, though she didn't remember getting the papers yet but she didn't want to push it since one farm is enough to handle. Syn understood what Gerry was getting at, blinking when the fox pulled a leaf from his head. He stepped aside to let her in, noticing the look that Gerry had given him. "Hey, don't look at me like that." he said in amusement. "By the way, I'm finding a lot of treasure here. You wanna take a look at them with me while you check on the herbs?" he asked with a smile as he headed back to the hole he had dug, using he foot to gently push aside the stuff he had already found. Some of it looked really old but the again he was not an expert on those type of things. He got to his knees again, brushing away dirtaway from more stuff. Maybe Avery would like some of this stuff as had no need for it, though he may keep some of the flower-shaped objects. As well as the book tome he had found as well. It was leather-bound, with gold symbolskn the front. He hadn't gotten the chance to read the title as Gerry had gotten his attention at this point and going to her was more important at that point. But he had to wonder who or what had buried all of this under the greenhouse? He really wanted to know but he pushed it aside for now as he started digging again. This time, he had found a fox-shaped mask, holding it up to Gerry. "You want this, Miss Gerry?" he asked after a moment. Occ:

Gerry nodded as she took the mask from Syn, as she examined the mask, parts of it seem quite familiar to her as if she's read about it in a book somewhere though it's unclear which book she's seen it from as she hang it around her belt before examining the rest of Syn's find. There were quite a few exquisite artifacts Syn uncovered, though as to why they're buried here, the fox hadn't a clue who'd go through the trouble of burying their possessions here. However after helping Syn dig a bit, a piece of wood was taken out and before long there's enough wooden planks to figure it was a buried chest that didn't last too long and broke due to erosion and who knows how many years of land cultivation. Not minding that her fur might get a little dirt on them, Gerry helped dig whatever was left of the treasure before there was no more to retrieve from the hole. It was quite the sight seeing this much gold objects, surely more than what she remembered seeing. Ooc:

Syn looked around to what he and Gerry had dug up. "Well, this was a bit of a surprise." he mused after a moment, shaking his head. "Do you maybe want to take the artifacts back with you after you are done here? I'm sure Avery would be interested in them." he asked, turning his attention to Gerry while placing some of the lighter items in the basket with the weeds. He would make sure to get rid of the weeds but keep the basket as a container for what he had found. At least until he got a chest to place them in. While waiting for her reply, he started to put the dirt back into place, patting it firmly back into place. He sighed as he leaned back, absently he thought that he was in definite need of a shower but he would do it later and started to separate the other items into piles. He wondered if his teacher would like any of these as her birthday present which was coming up soon. Hmm. He would have to think on it eventually. Occ:

Gerry thought for a moment seeing if there's anything to take home. It'd be rude to refuse an offering like this, but not wanting to seem greedy or wanting, the fox only took two artifacts as she lets Syn keep the rest since they are his findings. Taking one of the jeweled artifacts that seems much different in craft than the others and the fox mask. Those were the only things she took for her and Avery and the rest was up to Syn's decision. She also seem interested in the jeweled egg, wondering what's it's story as she sets it aside for later examination.
Examining the jeweled artifact, Gerry noticed a bit a radiance on the exterior as if it had some sort of special properties melded into it and it felt quite warm even if it was dug up from the ground and still had it's warmth despite being in the open air. A further look at it had her ears swiveling from side to side as if her interest in the object piqued her curiosity in it's history. Well setting it aside, Gerry excused herself as she was here to check up on how the herbs are doing, but really she wanted to check and see how Syn's doing a day after he moved into the farm. With underway, she checked every pot and tended to some that Syn haven't gotten to yet and taking out her journal, she began writing down the progress of every plant and noted slight changes whether it be color variance or tiny details that could be over-looked because of how they appear the same to other parts of the plant. Seeing the ones that Syn tended to, there was a huge difference and vibrancy to the herbs' color and hue seeming more happy or jubilant, guessing that druids having a strong connection with nature makes a huge difference as she motions to Syn as she wonders what he does and how he'd normally tend to plants. Syn smiled at her as he watched Gerry pick out two of the items for the pile. He placed everything else back into the basket with everything else that was in there before returning his attention back to Gerry, watching as she went around checking on the plants before checking his cellphone. Huh. Had that much time passed already? He texted Morgan, asking how his day was before placing the phone back into his pocket. He blinked when Gerry gestured to the plants but he got what she was asking. "Hmm. I talk to them as I watered them and plant them. Let's them know that you really care. And though you can't hear them, they know who takes care of them and in return the bloom vibrant and full of life." he replied after a moment before standing up and once again dusting himself off. "If you want, when I have free time I can come over and tell you how your land is feeling and tell you if it's happy or not?" he offered after a second of thinking on it. Occ:

Well wanting to know whether or not they've done well for the crops in their own field, Gerry nodded as she would like to see what Syn can feel about how the crops feel. Watching as Syn gathers everything and giving every plant a one look over, there wasn't much for Gerry to do that Syn hasn't already done and feeling as though the young dryad can take care of the herbs on his own, the fox lady could only give a long consented sigh as her work in caring for the herbs might no longer be needed. Thinking on it for a moment, it isn't too strange for some people to talk to plants though wishing she could talk was another thing and for Avery to babble at the plants nonstop, having Syn tell how the crops feel and hearing that they're annoyed because of the words coming from Avery being the cause. Gerry could only shake her head at the thought as she puts it behind her for now. However she did gave Syn a worried look as she wonders if the herbs might miss her somehow, crossing her arms, Gerry wonders if the plants in the greenhouse might feel heartbroken somehow. Ooc:

Syn caught on to the sign and wondered what was wrong. Then he noticed the plants and it came to him. "Miss Gerry. If you want, toy can always come over and help me with the plants. With my job at the hospital, I'll need all the help I can get. Plus, the plants would be happy to see you." he asked after a moment. He could feel said plants telling that Gerry was sad that she wouldn't be taking care of them anymore. He would not be having any of that. "Most of them are already attached to you and they don't want you to go away. They want to know if you would visit when you have time to spare." he added, conveying to the vixen on what he was being told. The lite things were demanding, weren't they? He snored at that thought as he picked up the basket with ease despite it being weighed down while turning to Gerry to await her answer. He made a mental note to himself to get something for the other for taking such good care of the plants. He was sure that she would like that. Occ:

Hearing Syn relaying the herbs' feeling about not being able to see the vixen made the vixen herself want to baby them, though she could always come by to help Syn with tending the plants inside the greenhouse whenever she got free time on her hands. Why not, Gerry thought as she nods to Syn's offer to help him out with the indoor garden, besides, there were times before Syn bought the farm that Gerry would always check up on the plants whenever the weather goes for worse and making sure the structure itself was strong enough to hold out. With everything finished and all the herbs having passed with today's checklist and with flying colors, it was time for Gerry to head back home as she waved goodbye to the herbs and Syn. With two artifacts in hand, she still had some lingering thoughts on who owned these objects before deciding to bury them in a place like this.
Outside the front driveway to Syn's farm, Gerry remembered something as she took her phone out to send Syn a text, {"Avery and I thought if you'd like to join us for dinner tomorrow night. You can bring something for the table if you wanna."} sending it to Syn before she continued the short walk home. Ooc: I suppose Gerry just likes things that seem adorable and maybe it's in her nature to naturally feel like a mom. Or maybe it's because someone else is always acting like a baby lol.

Syn smiled as he followed Gerry out if the greenhouse. He made sure to lock the door as you never knew what could get in there and destroy the plants and there were animals that did that. He returned the wave as he watched her leave before heading into the house to get cleaned up and ready for work. He placed the basket down on the floor, next to the door before removing he gloves just as his phone buzzed. He paused in what he was doing before pulling it out an reading a text from Gerry about dinner. {Sure. I'll bring dessert. I can check the state of your land while I there as well. } he responded back, hitting send before placing his phone down on the nightstand before heading to the bathroom to take that shower, removing his boots as well as the rest of his clothes after letting the water get hot. Then he stepped in with a sigh as the hot water hit him. He made sure to wash himself throughly to get all of the dirt off him. After that, he went to pick out a pair of scrubs, laying the outfit on the bed before deciding to make himself a light snack to go. He had already placed on his underclothes, so after making the snack, he would go back into the room and finish dressing. But for now he would enjoy his snack as he had eaten nothing all morning. Occ: Yeah. I know. Lol.

Back in the city, Morgan was finishing up with closing the case as the one responsible for the rising idol's death was caught. One of the stage hand who became close with the girl, though they've known each other since high school, was brought in because of the murder weapon being linked to a trophy he got. Frank could only shake his head wondering why the kid became overly obsessed with the girl and overly reacting to the rejection as he confessed in the interrogation room. Morgan was in the drawing room looking over everything and reading up on old files and watching a video of the girl's last day of senior year giving a speech to the graduates of her school. She had a bright future ahead though looking at her now, she almost got there.
As the case has been closed and the killer being escorted to prison for 3rd degree murder. As he sees the officers bring the young man to the prison van, a notice board of the city's most wanted can be seen on the wall, some still on the run, though one picture only had a silhouette and only the name Ankou fills the name of the wanted criminal. His phone was on silent since morning as he checked to see if he received any messages and notice one from Syn and Avery as he replied to both before heading back to his desk to work on papers, well the huge stack helped kept his mind off things as he went to work on them. Syn was once again getting ready to head into work when he got a response from Morgan. He smiled before going back to finish his dressing before grabbing his bag and keys and then heading to the door, making sure to lock up everything before heading to the truck. He opened the door, tossed his bag onto the passenger seat before hopping in himself, closing the door and starting it up. He let it run for a moment before heading off but not before buckling up first. He turned on the radio station to have something to fill the silence as he made his way to work. After he got there, he parked, got out, locked the truck and headed inside. He made sure to clock in exactly at 5 before heading over to the receptionist desk. He placed his things down under the desk before deciding to go and get something from the caferia to last him through his shift. And coffee. Lots of coffee. He placed everything to the side as he was not hungry right now but he would be later, hence the food. He uses his magic to keep it warm and fresh until he needed it before settling down in his chair and starting his shift. He had a feeling that it was going to be a slow night. Occ:

For the time being, Morgan was glad that the case had been solved and if more time was needed, the killer would've been long gone now, though lucky for law enforcement, they got to him before he could flee from the country and hid somewhere else.
Frank having put the final touches and tossing everything away in an evidence box, felt the same and giving closure to the girl's family meant justice was served. Though it also meant it'll be the last day he'll be seeing his old buddy Morgan and seeing that the detective already finished an entire desk of paper work, the Jersey agent figured Morgan could use an early clock out from work and invited him over to join a few other colleagues at the bar tonight. Looking at how dark it is outside and nowhere else to go tonight other than home. Morgan nodded since it'll be a nice way to send off Frank for his flight tomorrow and talking stories was always a fun way to keep up and the cops that're also invited would have tones to share with Frank. Morgan on the other hand, sent Syn a text wondering how thing's are going at the hospital. Ooc:

Syn was sitting at his desk, on the computer playing solitaire as the hospital was rather quiet at the moment with the exception of a few visitors and a couple of nurses who were watching him though he did not know why. He blinked when he got a text from Morgan asking how the hospital was. He sent back that it was a bit boring but nothing he could not handle while also asking how his day went. After sending it, he went back to his game or he tried before he heard the clearing of a throat. He blinked before looking up into the eyes of a stern-looking, crimson-eyed, raven-haired woman. He closed his game before turning his attention to the woman. "How can I help you, ma'am?" he asked politely, not liking the feel of this woman but would remind me polite anyway despite how he felt. "Yes. Moria Song. My husband is a patient here..." the woman replied after a second of staring at him. "Ah. He's in room 102. Right down the hall." he replied, gesturing to said hallway. He watched as she left, frowning before shaking his head and returning to his game. Occ: A New Character! Lol.
