Jeez... aye having a sweet innocent maybe fairly new to world kitten near any dog(s) that would try to eat them is a bad idea. (Especially if they knew the dog(s) were like that.)
Assuming though they didn't know it's still a "HOW EVEN!?" cause you would highly expect any dog trying to eat a cat/kitten would be loud as heck.. HECK you know for a fact the baby being eaten would in her tongue be like "HEY F###ING HOOMANS!!! TIS BEAST EZ KILLEN MEH!!!" (I mean you know there had to be a racket made by one of them if not both. Bast wouldn't be all "kay do this doggo." & even if a baby I feel she'd fight back some and if lucky got the dog too with a swipe so hopefully even the dog would yelp from a cat scratch even if she was a kitten so not as powerful as an adult.)

Aye my Xbox360 gave it for free so I just up and grabbed it for the obvious & then XboxOne gave it to me cause I had it for 360 also for free so yay for me there on that case, but even then Microsoft does love their money so any add on things I want(ed) is a have to buy with fake money you possibly spent RLC on if not got with the Microsoft rewards system. (As you may expect I abuse the MIcrosoft rewards points thing for it does help out a lot for fun things, got the creators made games in minecraft things that way, so Sonic and TMNT... my 1993 birth year showing out to the great nieces of mine though they didn't care cause they like TMNT & cause of me and my older sister TIna mixed with some Travis they also like Sonic even if they know only Sonic alone along with Robotnik excuse me it's Eggman they know for his name more. cat_xp )
But aye the game does get old fast when don't want to monster fight normally why I offer to friends to build our giant castle home plans we thought up that'd take us a literal year making just right if had a solo builder only thankfully we got four people or more three to two if not me soloing atm.
Case being Donna my friend's partner has MS along with IBS so if ykyk why she may be out, Travis my year elder family member has work so he is out some days either cause sleeping for work atm or gone working nights as the Boise pub door man (he is looking at a new more 12 hours in day time job for next year & we don't know how his schedule will be then so maybe we'll change up some there maybe not depending.) & finally my friend Andrew in Utah atm with his partner Donna is a case of if it's her MS flaring up he's away cause ykw if yk. (idk MS too well not having been around it too much with people I knew, but I had been around some people with it in my family and at school being a S.E. T.A. so I do know it's signs some but not 100% & the one I know most is the one where it's highly awful for the one with MS as they freeze up maybe losing their grip or increasing it on whatever they're holding at the time it flares up.)

Overall though a big project of a castle which'll take time making in the world as it's made to hold a giant family of royals, their guards and the families of the guards, dragons (we got with one add on pack with Microsoft.), dog kennals, cat room, fox room, parrot room, farm lands, fishing holes, ranches etc. it's an everything is here build tbh. cat_sweatdrop (And since three out of four of us do like the random hunting of monsters case cause we play the games all about hunting monsters together we have the Nether & Ender dragon fight portals too.)
Add on the giant massive ever growing more as we stay in that world storage room on endless map meaning you can hit numbers like -9,999,999,999 with 9,199,626,763 or whatever nonsense above in your location corner it's needless to say we can get a lot of loot. (And with the Microsoft add ons we got with the points we spent on them we got crazy things like I said with other games in Minecraft. TMNT, Sonic, Spongebob, Mob Arena, Elder Scrolls Skyrim & Oblivion, a Disney theme park, Harry Potter not Harry Potter with magic school or whatever name they gave it, boot legged creators doing their best TTRPG worlds like D&D, Vampire, Werewolf, Fallen & Mage. (for a long time in 2020 we gathered our Microsoft points for random things of those to get mainly my friend I spent points on rewards to buy more games we wanted to play and extending my game pass which reminds me today I need to renew it if can.)

Honestly I think many put Hufflepuff as both caregiving for magical creatures highly and gardening, though imo any house could be a heavy cares for magical creatures type of person. I know I'd be big into caring for the thestrals as I'd be that weirdo Slytherin boy whom named the things after deceased people I knew the first one I have being a female named Sylvia after my mother I witnessed & still sadly daily recall witnessing it all pass away in front of my young four almost five if not five year old eyes. (I can't fully recall my exact age tbh but I do recall her passing on as it was chaos for me to this day for you know I saw it happening even if I didn't 100% know atm I saw it happening at our home.)
But continuing on each house has their stereotypes by fans with my house of Slytherin getting the most slander & having many buy into acting up cause of it to mess with the others, or sadly cause we do get bad types sorted into our house. (ngl I see our house being more the punks of the wizarding world as we will mess with people whom think poorly of us but we could be sweet as a new kitten if you're giving us the chance. At least 80% of the Slytherins I met in my life are that way at least, the other 20% are those people sorted into the house whom think they got to be evil, or they're the actors at the park that need to play an evil/evil-ish character cause again the stereotype of my house sadly what can you do JK really screwed us snakes by all making most her bad guys our house, and every bully in the school a Slytherin it seems. Been a while since I read the books after the caretakers at river's edge gave all my old books we lent dad to read away to others which sucked but I'm not gonna rob old people specially living at that s**t hole tbh place, possibly and quite sadly never seeing their families much again.), we all know the Gryffindor case... and ngl I hate the percent of them whom go full ham into the whole "You're in the evil house, so you're evil!" like little kids still learning get a pass but if you're somebody older than even me I'd hope you would understand better the cases more at least!!! emotion_skull
And you know for sure the stereotypes of our poor merch Ravenclaws (it upsets me you can't find a genuine Eagle emblem anything for a Ravenclaw with the freaking actual people whom are suppose to be selling the genuine merch!!! Like really go look at the Universal Orlando for the HP world robes for Ravenclaw iit's still NOT AN EAGLE, it aint my house but like jeez guys I got my family members in Ravenclaw whom I feel would like the actual legit emblem robe over the Raven ones you're selling. But in the end if they are okay and happy with it meh... but if I were a Ravenclaw I'd like a legit emblem robe personally.)

Overall though in stereotypes of the houses and their strong suits of the school far as I recall the old ways... it's Puffs with gardening, Slytherin with potions & casting curses/hexes, Gryffs excels at Da the Da, & Ravenclaws were great at a bit if not great with everything "cause nerds."

But the new age I meet rarely seem to think it goes Puffs do great in gardening and creature care, Snakes like myself only seem to excel at doing evil now sadly with a few saying they excel in potions still, Our trio known heroes house is well known for that only now it sees so all of them are Heroes or to be heroes soon nothing at all for classes just heroes there in Gryffindor now, & Ravenclaw just kinda stuck at being the "nerds" house really, but thankfully people are starting to see they get/have creative souls in the house too now.

(I wish to live long enough for the world to soon be all "Well Slytherin house isn't for the evil, it just sadly for them had some really evil people sorted into them in the universe." but ngl I may need to become a vampire, or a cyborg or whatever could live for thousands or more years just for that to happen & pray wizarding world fans still exist for it to become that way. gaia_contract )

Good to learn the smear case isn't 100% a left handed person issue only, I honestly felt targeted back in school for being "bad at art" cause the teacher sadly was poorly & thought I smeared on purpose when I honestly was dying trying to not do so for his projects he wanted us to hand in. Honestly it was so bad one day I even tried to do the project right handed only by force did poorly cause too use to my left hand got upset bad enough to cry as forcing myself to be not me got upset again to curse out the teacher while I did the art left handed like normal for me and I did the charcoal art over some nasty things I wrote about the teacher on my paper resulting in a huge fear he would somehow find out eating at my guts and soul a lot... So I broke in during lunch hours as he was away stole the whole group of art projects and when camping on the weekend used them all for my older brother Jim's fire keeping papers. emotion_skull

I never would ever tell the teacher let alone all the classmates & other periods I met of his classes that I did that ever even now as an adult for it was a horrid move, but stress makes you do insane stuff as a young dumb stressed internally maybe 24/7 about life teenager like I was. emotion_facepalm (I will admit most my internal stress of life was my dad's health as I got older and noticed it was bad.)

Our art teacher I have mixed thoughts for in the end he did get better ngl, but when I was younger and in his class he felt like a nightmare in Emmett ID for I'd have insane dreams of drawing left handed perfect artworks from things he loved to give us as projects to do just for him say it had some fault and then the faults all appeared on my dream art, then cause it was high school I also had the dream insanity of there being the other cruel to me staff & principal. (ugh my teens honestly feel like they went 75% anxiety, with 25% my natural insanity which included going into a delinquent punk as many cruel to me staff thought I was one.)

Huge side note time: I couldn't help but smile the whole time I typed that up for my baby Katt Bartlet was snoring loudly on my lap & there is just something so cute and comforting about a loud snoring kitty by or on you; And it's more so if on you.

As for BG3 I think he picks Shadowheart for the aftermath of her maybe as she does relax some by then from the whole "let's murder hobo cause I worship an evil god or goddess!" thing she clerics for & goes more into the gentle hero type that keeps her cool/calmness with a fire outburst at times if she needs to be fiery while she studies the gods and goddesses of the world more. (At least that is the few bits I picked uo from her seeing parts and pieces of her character from seeing others playing BG3 that I got to see, I badly want a Xbox series S/X to play my own BG3 now as atm I believe it is on game pass, it's just I do not have the system to play for they want a series X/S to play it. Idk though if that is still the case for I'd have to boot up my Xbone and peek again. sweatdrop )

YES! EXACTLY! And, like, I know Bast didn't expect dogs to be mean or dangerous because we had basset hounds and a chocolate lab in the house that were all fine with cats. But she was still just a wee thing when I gave her up, maybe six months old, so she'd have been a bare mouthful for big dogs. But who would leave a KITTEN with a LARGE DOG all on their own with no supervision?! Because it HAD to have been without supervision, I can't envision any instance where a kitten wouldn't squall while a dog was trying to eat it. Just, ugh, I can't believe some people and the things they do.

Some of the house stereotypes are... odd. And honestly I think with the author being such a monster bad person, it really feeds back into the fandom and makes it incredibly toxic. I would not give little kids a pass on the whole "you're in Slytherin and have to be evil because the whole house is evil," though, because that's how we end up with toxic fanspaces in the first place. I wouldn't get angry at kids like I would with adults, though, I'd just make them all listen to me explain how no house, or even any person in particular, is inherently evil, they just make poor choices and/or do bad things that hurt others.

I was always under the impression that Ravenclaw's house animal representation was a raven, though? I don't remember any of the books explicitly stating it was an eagle... I prefer corvids to eagles anyway, though. It's all a moot point regardless, since you wouldn't catch me dead paying for official merch. I'm perfectly happy being the witch making unofficial merch and selling it to friends on the dl, though. My rates are also much cheaper than official bs, since I'm perfectly willing to sell a handmade crocheted scarf with house design for $30, very competitive pricing. c':

Yeah, no, the smeared media problem has no handedness preference. It may be a little less prevalent/obvious amongst dexters since so many of them hold their implements in a particular way that doesn't have them dragging their whole forearm across their paper/canvas/whatever drawing surface, but at least half the people in all my art courses from high school through uni would end up wearing their charcoal or graphite up their arms by the end of the class. And there's just, statistically, no way they could all have been left-handed. So, yeah, needless to say, a good eraser is probably an artist's best friend. (Kneaded erasers are particularly handy since you can make them whatever shape you require; I was upset that I never heard of them until I went to university. Like, WHY?!! I could have gotten SO much mileage out of one of these in high school!)

Hm, maybe you're right about Shadowheart. I've not really played through any of BG3 myself, only the, uh.... hours (yes, you read the plural correctly) I spent in character creation getting my tiefling JUST right. So everything I know is just from what I've caught while watching my beau. Huh, I didn't realize they hadn't made it available on Xbone, though. I thought it was available on PS4, so it would have made sense for there to be an Xbone version, but apparently I'm misremembering since a bit of research has informed me it was only made available on PC, Mac, and current gen consoles, excluding the Switch. Guess they didn't want to nerf the visuals to make it playable on the previous gen or something. Which is kind of a shame, considering the old BG games. Like, even nerfed for last gen console gaming it would have been LEAGUES better than BG1 and 2. Also feels rather like a big loss of potential customers since current gen consoles have remained consistently hard to acquire since their releases, not to mention out of reach financially for SO many people.

Aye humans have quite the horrid natures at times & we both know it stinks tbh. We all really are all truly neutral beings, and it's sad some lean more into the chaotic sides with their actions...
Man I hope they weren't around as it occurred (1,000% not really as it's still a wtf guys case for them!!!) but to picture them being there and hearing the sweet little baby Bast screaming as she had to have done in that scenario for let's be real, is just honestly even more a heart killing thought & would anger me too if it was I gave the kitten, but a lot more sadness for sure cause that poor fur baby never got to grow older. emotion_heartbroken

Well when I said I give little kids a pass I meant I don't get all shouty & defend my house with them, and more try to explain how Slytherins are not all evil compared to how it'd go with adults being all "Slytherins are all evil." around me. Sorry to have not made that a clear thing beforehand honestly. cat_sweatdrop
But like you stated is how I play it with little kids explaining how not any one house is evil as people are all unique as we be, and I even bring up how other houses had some bad people in them too even if less than Slytherin house had sadly cause JK's writings of characters.

Heck tbh I kind of toss JK under the bus (as she deserves it tbh.) saying she's the bad type of Hufflepuff cause of her whole being a monster bad person that crafted some of our most toxic groups of the wizarding world fans out there. (I mean telling one woman to find another lover cause of Hogwarts houses was a insane thing she did once, like wtf JK be happy for their relationship if they're happy not have your own crazy agenda feels like enforcement ways! I don't recall which house the man was in and which JK suggested the woman went after instead now cause it was old news I read about. But still it was a wtf JK thing to read about back then.)

And then there is the whole all the I know a few and others I'm still hearing/learning about stuff she has done/said still out there... emotion_skull (honestly makes e feel kinda bad still liking the HP things for the few whom want to see ALL FANS as monsters like JK, when it's like "hey come on there has to be the good few people whom like it all out there right?" I mean all fandoms got the mix out there tbh. Like yeesh Homestuck fanbase is wild on that grounds being a cancer whom liked the old Homestuck webcomic gave me fears reading news of how some fans got with the Cancer zodiac fans out there. if ykyk if not here's the small text of what occurred with that all now; In the universe or I guess on the troll's old planet really in Homestuck, the ancient past higher blood caste went around killing the lower blood trolls with the Lime Bloods/Mutants (which the Cancer zodiac falls upon) were the most killed off trolls for the fears of the high bloods mixed with the artist trolls loving their blood color for their world's painting with troll blood habit. And as you can put two and two together by now maybe you see where it goes with the horrid extremists bad side of the hiveswap/homestuck fans out there.
Which made me debate a lot when offered to go to conventions with my irl friends to be our troll selves attending it at all cause well I'm a Cancer zodiac guy & tbh fears of that all happening especially the thoughts of how my friends would all feel if they found the aftermaths if I was ever alone at any time and bad stuff happened to me. (let alone I feared for my dad back then too with his health seeming to grow worse as I grew up unknown to a young me back then it was due to the fact he had dementia & sadly idk the signs for nobody taught or told me about them.)
{{Maybe I didn't need make the bad side of that fandom share small text but I weirdly decided to do so.}}

Hmm tbh maybe honestly it wasn't ever an eagle in the books even and some video games that had their emblem as an eagle that's out there made me think it was that way tbh; Just means I got to get myself new used HP books to reread sometime or even just listen to audio books on YouTube see if they talk about the emblems for each house ever.

Honestly when it comes to HP merch anything now with the prices of them for anything, making your own seems the best ways to go about it all and if you're creative & sell them lower priced you can make some decent side money for your own life wants/needs.
Atm in our own life now case I'd help give some cash to Travis for a new truck purchase as a deer jumped into the road yesterday on him and ruined his old vehicle, so he's borrowing our tenant/older than us both friend's vehicle to get to work and back tonight. (And I pray no deer appears randomly again on him as he is borrowing a vehicle cause that'd really suck for us all, especially if it caused household issues. emotion_0A0 But that's my whole life events fear/worry & really I bet he'll be fine & things would be fine eve if the worse did happen. Least I pray it'd go all fine and Nathan wouldn't have a big case of anger. But a past with bad people in my life has me being all... well worried & fearful. cat_sweatdrop )

Aye I assumed there was no one way another handness case for smears but the old art teacher of mine made it feel targeted which sucked for a many problems teen like myself back then. (thankfully he didn't kill my loving art case both making and seeing, as today if I had the ways I'd get more art things to do daily doodling and get my skills back up to par just sadly money issues in my life atm happening still with the old 2020s many years it felt case.)

Honestly I'm 100% new to BG3 minus seeing a few moments here and there via family member plays it and I watched sometimes if he was out here playing BG3 and not back in his room with his curtain door up playing (as I wont invade his space in that case just to watch him game for who knows maybe he's doing the other BG3 thing you can do in game and he's all not wanting it open as he's playing the game freely kinda like how my hero in fable I once played fully homosexual cause I could with wearing one of the many dresses and the red wig and having no facial hair equipped while keeping the brothel open as well for you know you could simply do that if you liked to do so. Plus as he played BG3 he soon would turn his volume so low you could not hear it so maybe he was exploring it all as he could for the why nots? We are all curious like that.)

But moving on with Shadowheart talk the few things I seen about her via YouTube most of all she seems to have a change from her previous self during the journey if you play the game as a hero, same for the vampire guy I seen so many female gamers loving most for their partner so far on YouTube & other let's play watching places online. (I want to say his name is Alistair in any kind of the name's spelling for it, but I'm unsure if I am correct on that name for our vampire companion in BG3... for it's just a common male name in fantasy games I played in the past {like the Dragon Age series and some Fable series NPCs had for a name in the world.} and I want to say it is that case but well you know I can be wrong which is also fine.)

But aye it'd be real nice if video game companies seemed to have realized the hardships of the world they are living in too & we got older gen consoles BG3, for 100% when I had the microsoft points for the reward of money gift card or even had the money in my life 100% getting BG3 being a fan of BG let alone the TTRPG D&D. (And honestly with the CaC system I seen for BG3, I too would possibly spend many hours in it making whatever race hero I picked ngl as their system has a lot of things to work with.)

Yeah, even though there's no way I could have known what would happen or done anything about it, I still feel guilty about letting them have little Bast. I still have pictures of her with me somewhere, I adored her, so I was gutted when my mom finally told me what happened to her. (She kept the information back for a long time because she knew how I'd react.) Like, the first cat I can remember us owning was a blue point Siamese (inherited from my mom's mom who died around the time I was born), so Bast was literally my little miracle dream kitten, the only one that survived from her litter. So depressing she didn't even get to live to be a year old. cat_crying

OH! Heh, okay, good to know we'd be the same with kids about Slytherin. And I ABSOLUTELY toss JK under the bus every chance I get. She's very loud about being a TERF (trans-exclusionary radical feminist, in case you're like me and forget what the acronym stands for frequently) and it's just disgusting. She has literally said that she takes all official HP/Wizarding World sales to be tacit support of her beliefs. And she WILL use her profits to further her stances/beliefs/agendas. I technically fall under the trans umbrella (I identify as demigender; demi-girl and demi-nonbinary), so she, and others like her, don't even think I deserve to exist. She also seems to be against queer folx as a whole (which, still a shoe that fits me; I'm out and loud about how queer I am) and has made racist remarks in the past. So, yeah, that explains pretty well why so many people get really combative about the HP fandom as whole; easier to just be against it entirely rather than go through the whole nuanced position of "the fictional world isn't at fault, but we need to make sure that people know the creator and people like them are dangerous individuals." It's also safer for the people that fall into the attacked circles of humanity to just not engage with the fandom at all since it's really hard to tell if you're talking to someone like us that likes the fictional universe while being against the creator, or some daft sod that believes in all the vile things JK supports. (Which I think is a lot like the experiences of you and other Cancer zodiac individuals with HS; can't be sure you won't run into dangerous people, so better not to interact with potential enemies.)

I usually remember what I read pretty well (which is why I have a hard time reading any book more than once), but it's possible the house crests are described somewhere and my brain just threw the information out as superfluous. cat_sweatdrop Like names and birthdays, there are some categories of information that my brain is just like "Nope, we're not gonna need that" and that could well be one of them.

100% making your own is the way to go with ANY official merch! And if you have the skills to be the person making stuff like that, it can pay nice dividends. It is, however, hard to sell online through "official" channels (websites like Etsy, for example) without getting dinged over copyright/IP infringement. Which is why I mostly only sell to friends, family, and their friends. Still, $20-30 can pay for a few loads of laundry, so even just the rare paid commission is worth it to me. (Coin-op laundry is so expensive. cat_gonk )

The dreaded aggressive/suicidal deer, though, that always sucks. If it were me, even if something DID happen while someone was borrowing the vehicle, as long as the person was safe (and it was something like a kamikaze deer and genuinely not the fault of the driver) I think I'd just be glad only the vehicle was harmed. But I know some people that would be petty enough for something like that to ruin their relationship (friendly, familial, or otherwise) with a person. Hopefully none of you will end up needing to find out, though!

Yeah, art can be an expensive hobby if you get serious about it. But you can do plenty on the super cheap, too! I mean, a cheap pencil or pen and whatever blank space you can find on the ubiquitous junk mail everyone receives can go far. Then you're only out whatever the pen or pencil might cost! And if you have any kids' art implements laying around from when the Clan was staying with you, they'll work just as well. Wax crayons may not be smudge-able like proper pastels, but you can still layer colors to good effect! And no paint? No problem! Especially not this time of year; you can use candy to make a stand-in for watercolors. M&Ms and Skittles shells are particularly good, according to my ex-con cousin. (You, uh, have to get creative in lock-up since actual art materials are hard to come by, and really expensive even when they can be found.) The only reason I have most of the proper art materials I do is because they're leftover necessaries from uni, I received them from others as gifts, or I managed to snag them for free from my library's craft swap that happens twice a year.

As previously stated, I'm very queer, so I have no judgment to pass on the romance choices anyone makes in a video game. But I also know how much I hate it when someone comes in while I'm playing a game and don't want to be bothered, so I wouldn't be willing to just walk in uninvited, either. My beau doesn't really care, at least not with me. Like, if he wanted to be left alone, he'd close the door to the game room, so I consider it fair game as long as the door is open.

Astarion is the vampire companion in BG3! (Which shares most of the letters of Alistair, and the shape of the two names is pretty much the same, so I understand why that was the name you associated with him.) I think his appeal transcends gender boundaries, everyone seems to be hot for him, haha~ I like the character because he's amusing, he makes some of the best jokes. His voice actor is a big part of it, too, though. He voices my favorite character in Resident Evil 8, Heisenberg (burg? E looks more correct, but I'm not 100%). He's one of the bad guys, the one that can control metal and has a posse of lycans. It was pretty much the actor's breakout role, I didn't even realize he voiced Astarion, too, until my beau mentioned it the other night, so he's really skilled.

I can understand why game companies don't release last-gen sometimes, it's just not cost-effective to make a separate down-scaled version for every game. Especially not once current gen has vast majority adoption among the playerbase. But I don't think we've really reached that point, yet, since there ARE so many games still getting dual-release on current and last gen consoles. Maybe it's because BG3 was technically developed by a smaller indie crew and they don't think they have the manpower to maintain and fix more versions than what they already have released? Who knows, companies make baffling decisions that don't make much sense as often as they make well thought out strategic choices anymore.

It always sucks losing a pet when they're so young especially when the pet was one you dearly loved.
I still remember and hate the time I lost my young chihuahua Cocoa, it sucked because I woke up one Summer morning to overhear my dad talking about how he passed away.
He was my first ever what we call in our town an antelope chihuahua. Which just meant he was the long legged & slimmest type of build. (Sadly he lived to only be one year old before somebody poisoned the poor baby as we learnt taking him to the vet the day he died.)

Aye always best to be wary of dangerous situations with fandoms, but it sucks to have to get looped with the bad kinds of a fandom when you just like/love the thing but it's creators suck majorly. (And honestly it's a sad reality knowing some fandoms do have the bad news "show runners" behind their creations.)

And when it comes to kids joining the said fandoms my view has always been it's best to let them know the few things they should know to be decent human beings of the fandom, specially since they're the majority getting into them possibly blindly due to their elders/parents are from the era of being the fandom's few decent members hopefully.

I sadly suffer the male stereotype of forgets information after some time so sadly I'm always rereading books when and if I can. cat_sweatdrop (My other thought and honestly more a fear tbh... is the fact family members having dementia maybe my case is someday I'll suffer the sad same fate which is why I forget things after a while. But I hope it isn't that case. cat_gonk )

Aye there is many times I want to get more into making my own merch of things I enjoy for my many fandoms, and all because the prices are way too much money to spend for items. (And honestly a few things would be fun to be able to easily make once better at making them.)
Sadly for many things I'd like to make the art supplies cost comes up too, so a lot of times I think about getting into wood carving at most cause it feels cheaper when you live in a town with plenty of trees about to get wood from. (which being near mountains like we are in Emmett there is loads of trees & that includes fallen over ones so it's not like I'm destroying our forest in the mountains, and honest I'd prefer taking our fallen trees for lumber to make them into things should I get into that craft.)

Aye sadly some are like that and my mind always seems to have me fearing the few I know are like that quite a bit. (course I've been unlucky in life plenty of times it kind of makes sense I am fearful of it happening like that.)

When it comes to video game stuff like that I am 100% always going to see/try out the things the game allows us to do cause I'm just like that for games.

Oh my gosh, what kind of sadistic person poisons a puppy?!! I just don't understand people who can willfully harm another living creature like that. While I could never bring myself to hunt, I can understand that, it puts food on the table, but to hurt a creature for no reason other than because you can, that's unfathomable to me. I remember we had to be really careful with our pets outside when I was younger, though, because people would purposefully put out food or water laced with antifreeze to poison animals in the neighborhood. Like, how much hate and spite do you have to be filled with to DO shite like that?

Having a nearly eidetic memory for books I read is both a blessing and a curse. It means I can go a long time between books in a series without having to go back to the previous books to remember what happened. On the other hand, it makes trying to reread things thoroughly unenjoyable most of the time. Also while I remember a book's content, I often forget book titles, especially in a long series, so sometimes I'll pick up a book at the library that I think I haven't read, and then I get maybe two chapters in and realize I know everything that's going to happen and it's a wasted checkout that I could have used for a new book instead. =w=; I'm the only person I know that remembers books like this, though. My mom always thought it was kinda freaky, and refused to get books for me without me being present because of it. So I think it's pretty normal to forget things like that.

Oh, if you want a cheap wood source for woodworking, you might try your luck with local shops! Most businesses just toss their shipping pallets, and while it's often rough cut compared to proper lumber, it's still quality wood. We'd pilfer pallets from the local IGA in the place I considered my hometown and repurposed the wood for all sorts of projects (including a pen for goats at one point). Salvaging timber from fallen trees is perfectly acceptable too, of course. Especially if you happen to know someone with a chainsaw or own one yourself. I have a little Christmas ornament that my family made a big batch of one year from slices cut from a fallen tree, so you'd hardly be the only person salvaging like that.

I've been told it's mind-numbing and tedious to watch me play video games because I'm obsessive about collecting and fighting EVERYTHING. Plus with so many games having achievements attached to every romance-able character, gotta chase every tail you can for completion's sake! Need that sweet, sweet dopamine from those trophy/achievement gains.
