Oh! I remember something I was going to mention when I got home. You know how earlier I had posted Dr. John H. Watson's blog about how he hated the self-checkout machines. I'll paste it again in this post, in case you didn't catch it the first time:

Do you know what I hate? Those unmanned checkout machines. They're there to 'save time' but they don't. They clearly don't. Nobody can use them. Staff have to come over and help. How do they save time?

The reason why I'm bringing this up again is because I ended up using one of the self-checkout machines when I stopped for a few groceries when I was coming home from school. After I scanned and payed for my items, I was putting my receipt in my wallet, and barely a minute after finishing the paying the machine goes "Please take your items." Okay, I'm getting there. I start pulling off the first bag that I put items in. "Please take your items." What do you think I'm doing? Then, since the other two items I wasn't able to bag, I had to put them in a bag before putting it in my small cart. "Please take your items." Goodness sakes machine! Shut up!

xd John, I think there's probably more annoying aspects to those self-checkout machines. And this also confirms my earlier statement of how I get annoyed by the whole speaking aspect.
