Emi shook her head."What makes you think..."
"I can go ahead and take out anyone that I would consider a threat. Also you need someone to protect you both."

"Which is why I should be going with you. What kind of man would let two young ladies risk themselves?" Kenji asked with his hands on his hips. Emi shook her head. She studied Kenji's appearance for a few minutes until she heard a loud growling sound. Kenji clutched his stomach embarrassed.
"When's the last time you ate something? Or better yet when was the last time you rested?" Emi asked annoyed.
"That's not important."
"You aren't thinking straight. If you head in that direction, there maybe someone that can help you." Emi said pointing in the opposite direction.
"No. I am not letting you out of my sight!"

Rahvine sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Honestly..." Just go already. And if you're so worried about not letting Emi out of your sight, then please, take her back to the base with you...

Kenji looked back and forth at Rahvine confused on what he should do.

Rahvine waved Kenji toward Emi. "Go on. Both of you. Go back to the base, I think Emi should be able to find the way back. And there's food there..." I don't mind going on alone. ...And if something goes wrong then, it'll only be me that gets captured...

Kenji nodded. He made a motion to grabbed Emi's hands. "Come on Em. Please?" he said pulling her closer to him. Emi roughly pushed him away.
"No. Look I'm glad you are ok and all but I can handle myself. And I don't need you to protect me. Not anymore." Emi said marching off. Kenji tried to grab her again but Emi twisted his arm behind his back by using his bow. "I'm not interested." She said as Kenji struggled.
"..." Kenji then stopped struggling and allowed Emi to let him go.

I can understand the whole not wanting to be protected thing... I feel the same way... But at the same time I have more than enough responsiblity piled on me right now as it is. ...If these two keep their lover's spat up like this,... It's just going to be more trouble... Rahvine shook her head, rolling her eyes slightly.
"Are you two going back or not?" asked Rahvine looking at Emi and Kenji for a moment before looking in the direction of the Lunar Sanctuary.

Kenji remained silent clutching his fists."I'm going ." Emi said following Rahvine.
The archer stared at the two hurt but continued to remain silent.

Rahvine sighed, then shrugged as she began walking toward the Lunar Sanctuary again. "...Fine..." I don't have the time or patience right now to debate it with you, and I'd rather not do something like shoot you to keep you from following me... so I guess I don't have a choice but to let you come...

"We'll stop and rest again once we get close..." murmered Rahvine half to herself. "If we keep up the pace we've been at we should get there a couple hours before it gets dark. It'll be a little safer if it's dark out when we start snooping around. ...Though they'll probably still manage to see us, since the rebellion equips thier patrols to be able to spot and watch people even in the dark, DAR most likely does as well..."
