"Yes, I hope you are okay with curry rice." Zuko replied, throwing his armor plates on the floor with a loud thump. ((Lucky you. XD My parents are both very Republican, and so is my full sister. I know my oldest half sister is about as Democratic as I am (I'm not extreme... I'm pretty much a Moderate leaning slightly on the left) and I'm pretty sure my brother is Democratic too. I'm not sure about my other two sisters. But most of the older members of my family are totally Republican, some to the point of even being somewhat racist. XP (like my cousin was dating a black man for a while and they had a baby together, and my grandma was all upset about that, thinking blacks and whites shouldn't be together, which is just stupid) Luckily my parents aren't *that* conservative, so my mom eventually told my Grandma off about it. XD But mah parents are against homosexuality, which really bothers me. D: One of the only Democratic things about my family is that we're environmentally conscious, at least as much as you can be in Arizona... And I'm sure certain teachers would get mad at me, but since the only two teachers I have are two of the best in the school, they shouldn't have a problem with it. All I have is two Art classes and Webmaster anyway, so I don't need to talk.))

"... that's fine." He stated sullenly, jumping a little at the sound of the armor hitting the floor.
((O_o; That sucks... I don't know many families that way anymore... none of my friends have parents that way....
My Nana is a bit racist, but that's because she is sorta old and she immigrated from Italy... things were different that way. But I have a cousin who has a kid who is half black, the main concern to me was that she never got married and the guy got thrown in jail, but the kid is adorable. Insane, but adorable. ^^;
But yea, same thing happened to us really. ^^;; My Nana was a bit baffled for awhile, got over it eventually. ^^;
Yea that homosexual thing really sucks... x__x;; Erm... good luck with that... hah. ~_~;
How do you only have two classes!? And how are those your only classes? What requirements does your school have? We have to take english every year and stuff like that.... D: ))

Once all of his armor was off, Zuko stretched, going over to a chair to sit down again. ((It's pretty common here in Arizona, and some of the other more western states, like Texas. XP We're not as bad as Texas though, thank God. Wow, that's definitely similar to my cousin. o.o She had the baby; he's five or six now. But he's a real brat. The two never got married, and now they don't see each other anymore either. It's really quite sad, especially for their kid. But her boyfriend had some anger problems... >_>;; Your high school probably used block scheduling, which is why it would seem weird to you. Our scheduling is different, where we only have four classes, but the classes are much longer because there's only four. But also, those four classes only last one semester, and then the next semester we get four new ones. We have to take a certain amount of English and such, but there's actually no rule to what year you have to take each class. For example, I was in College Algebra by Sophomore year. I actually could've not taken anymore Math classes before that, but I wanted to get some college credit. I also took PreCalculus Junior year, but I haven't taken any math classes since then. It just depends on when you take the classes and such. With subjects you aren't so good with, it's better to stretch it out so you can mature more and stuff, so I took one English and one History class every year, but I took a Math and Foreign Language class every semester, because those come easy for me. But anyway, once you've planned out a time to take all your required classes, and if you're a Junior or Senior, you can get release time either first, third, or fourth period. I have release time for fourth period, so I only have three classes this semester. I've finished all my required classes and actually have enough credits to graduate right now, except I was too lazy to bother applying for early graduation. XD;; So I just took two Art classes and Webmaster. That's why I'm been so unmotivated to go to school, because it's so easy to keep up in those classes, even if I miss a couple weeks of school.))

"So, where is the food?" Sokka stated, tone growing angry with his words rather than sad.
((No. I didn't have block scheduling. In fact, we did a similar thing as you. Except we had 6-7 classes each semester and then we'd switch the next time around. Usually, some classes were year long. Like English and math. But history, science and art and elective always switched up.
Of course, our periods were about 50 minutes each, which is probably a lot shorter than yours.... but the only reason I would've been allowed to leave early last year is because I had taken extra morning class for two years.... ~_~ But yea, we have a s**t load of requirements + four years of english + at least two years of science + two years of math + some specifics that would be boring to name.. but yea...
Damn women, you are so lucky. Your schedule seems so easy.... crying I might fail two of my classes right now... it's so depressing... ))

"They're cooking it right now." Zuko replied. ((That sounds like block scheduling to me. o.o But then again, I've never had block scheduling, so maybe I have the wrong impression of it. But anyway, to graduate our school you need like... four English, four Math, three Science, four History, one Fine Arts, a credit that is half Government/half Econ., and one PE credit, plus eleven electives. Almost all of our classes are one semester. There are some classes that are half a semester, then you take another half-semester class for a full credit, but those are just stupid things like Driver's Ed and such. Also, if you take the Honors classes, they put English and History in one class for English/History I and II, so that class lasts an entire year, but you get one English and one History credit for it. But seriously, it's not easy. This has been the only easy semester I've ever had, and that's just because I worked so hard all the other semesters. I took all Honors English, History, and Science classes, plus a lot of high-level Math classes. This semester is my last one, and I'm taking a break during it. :3))

"Oh. I see. That's nice." Sokka replied in the same dull tone that Zuko almost always seemed to use.
((No. It's not block schedule. Silly girl. ^^ Block schedule is more... more like a college schedule. Like I have some classes: MWF, and then others TR. While in HS I had the same 6 classes everyday of the week. That's the difference. ^.^
*pokes* You're so cute. Hehehe. <3
Weird, half semester classes? That's so short. We did that in Middle school, called 'um quarters. It just sounds so weird to me. At least you get a break now. <3 You're gonna be sooo old!! )0

Zuko leaned back in his chair, staring up at the ceiling as he waited for the meals to arrive. ((Ah, that's right. XD;; I really should know more about block scheduling because my school has been debating to switch to it. Yeah, we call them quarter classes too, but I wasn't sure if you would know what that term meant. XD;; What's really weird about our schooling though is that we didn't really have middle school. Seventh and Eighth grade were still considered "Junior High" but they were in the same school as all our elementary school grades, and we still had lunch in the same cafeteria and went to recess in the same place, except we weren't allowed to go on the playground anymore... >.>;; Only real difference was that we started switching classes instead of staying in one room... no wait, we did that for sixth grade too, so it really wasn't any different at all, except being called "Junior High" instead of "elementary school."))

.... this was getting incredibly irritating... stupid quiet Zuko... ugh...
To pass the time, Sokka began tapping his fingers loudly against the wooden floor.
(( No, that's pretty normal. A lot of my friends had Junior High which was two grades. Personally, I'm glad we had Middle School, which was three years, because it was an easier transition. The only weird thing about it is that you had school in the same place. AND NO PLAYGROUND?! WTF!? I mean, heck, me and my friends still go to the park and playground for fun.... and yet you aren't allowed to in 7th grade!?!?? LAME! We didn't have a playground to mock us luckily... cause we had to switch campuses. ))

Zuko, oddly enough, didn't seem at all bothered by Sokka's insistent tapping. At this point he was just too tired to let it bother him. ((Oh, I know it's normal to have Junior High as two years. XD;; What I mean was odd was, as you said, that we had it at our elementary school. And actually... we weren't allowed to go on the playground by fifth grade... *sobs* I remember there was this really fat teacher that would always stand at the top of the playground, blowing her whistle and yelling at everyone. No one went down the big slide at the top because we were all too nervous to pass by her to get to it. Then when we got to fifth grade, she told us we couldn't go on anymore because we were too big... while she was standing on her fat feet with her fat a** on top of the friggin' equipment! scream I mean, come one! It would've taken at least eight of us to equal her weight alone!))

Sokka glanced back at Zuko, to see that he didn't look even the slightest bit perturbed. Annoyed by this fact, he tapped even louder and harder, biting his lip as his frustration grew.
((Ah, okay. ^^
But, man that sucks. D: Actually... come to mention it... I don't think 5th graders were allowed on the playground when I was in Elementary either. I transfered from a different school, so 5th grade was the only year I went to Hillview. And I remember I never played on the playground because we weren't supposed to. But other kids did...
NOT FAIR!!! D:< It's probably because of the a*****e fifth grade boys or something...
Heh, I think it'd be fun to go to a playground in cosplay. =B For some reason, that is one of my stupid little dreams. It'd be awesome! And then film it. <3
Being retarded is so fun.
O_O Sorry about that FAT a**. I hope she does fall through the equipment. I always hated the monitor people with their scary whistles... ))

Yet Zuko only continued to stare at the ceiling, waiting patiently for the food to arrive, though not to patiently for his ship to arrive. ((That's so wrong... they make us grow up too fast... D: That does sound really fun though, going on playground in cosplay, minus the filming part though... OMG I'd so love it if she fell through! XD))

Sokka gritted his teeth bitterly in his mouth as tightly as possible as he tapped even harder and harder, until both of his hands were tapping and his face began to turn a bright red. (( Yes. She will be the first to DIE when I take over the world. I promise. I predicted you'd say that. *shrug* Well, you could do the filming? ^^ You don't seem like you'd wanna be a camera whore the way me and my best friend are. Of course we later regret our stupidity.... ~_~ IT'S BEEN SO LONG! Last time I was filmed... aside from... oh gawd, this.... it's only funny for the first 18 seconds.... you shouldn't bother... really... The one going 'wheee" is my idiot friend, Jill. x___x;; I AM NOT THE ONE SCREAMING... >>;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

"Are you not feeling well." Zuko suddenly asked, though very calmly. He was now staring directly at Sokka, but still didn't seem annoyed. ((Yay! =D Yeah, I wouldn't mind doing the filming. XD Except I'd look like some weird fetish person who gets their kicks out of filming little kids in costumes on playgrounds... <3 And WTF? That film's so weird! XD It's like one of those old alien movies where you just expect a spaceship to land in the giant field out of no where...))

Akila_Ishtar The tapping ceased with one last tap this one the loudest, and it was actually so forceful it became more like a pound than a tap. "..... The question should be, 'are YOU not feeling well?' "(( Heh. >=) I'm so ebil. Mhmk, that's awesome!! *dances* Caaan't wait. =D Oh that's cause my idiot friend used her digital camera... But it does look like we are in the middle of nowhere, huh? HAH. We went hiking. Which is why I'm wearing UGLY SHOES. (T-they aren't mine!!) Anyway we're in the hills that are five minutes from me casa. And we went a different direction than usual and lost the trail. So instead of going back we played on the dirt mounds, I became Pharaoh, TMI (who is filming) became Ra, and the stupid idiot jumping around was like... a priestess I think. X3 Then we ran around the grass for awhile and it was really deep and hard to run in. We were SUPPOSED to frolic, but I don't wanna skip on tape. I. DON'T. SKIP. =/ And yea, it's stupid. -.- ))

Zuko blinked, seeming taken aback, "I'm feeling just fine..." he said. And suddenly an employee brought two stacked trays of food in, laying each tray down on the floor next to each other, then taking out two cushions and putting them in front of the trays, "Here you are sirs." ((That's so cool that you live around so much nature. =D All we get here is a few suburban trees, dead grass, and a bunch of dirt. If you wanna go hiking five minutes from my house, then you're just gonna end up on the other side of the subdivision. stare Awww, but skipping's fun! =D))
