"It really is no big deal" She said turning away until the blushing ceased and his shirt was sort out. He sat back down bored and well...she felt sort of sorry. "Um Duke...if you promise not to harm yourself, you can have your lighter back" It was as if she had read his mind.

 ((Oops... I was thinking of another RP... Thanks for catching that...)) Duke laid down on his back and shook his head. "No, because if I have that back then I'll start doing other things I shouldn't be doing, or have the same issue all over again. I'll get up, stay up for days, be attacked, and wind back up in a hospital," he said annoyed that he actually thought it through. If I wasn't so smart, I would be a lot less bored... He put his good arm behind his head and laid there staring at the celling with nothing better to do. He started drifting off when he noticed he'd forgotten about Xaio. He pushed himself back up into a sitting position and sighed. "Anything else happen interesting while I was unaware?" Duke asked trying to strike up a conversation.

 ::Sorry for the delay, didn't see your response:: He nods softly at her acknowledgement of the current situation. He sits down again when the flame goes out, examining her physical condition for any abnormalities but sighs softly in relief when he didn't find any. He might be on edge about her but he had a mission to consider which was to babysit her and ensure her safety. When she apologised he tched at her. "No need to apologise Baka-teichou, you've been asleep long enough. Hopefully we have enough time before the tournament to get your new powers in check or I'll be short a member and be unable to participate. Then again I am still short a member," he grumbles, frowning as he tries to think of someone who was brave enough to be on a team with him other than baka-teichou and baka-sousui since he would be bed-ridden for a while despite how stuborn he is.

Xaio sat down besides his bed listening to what was proven as the truth, then again, he was a boy, they weren't suppose to be light on jobs. She watched as he began to lay down and relax so she decided he might've wanted a bit more rest till he got right back up. "Oh um...not that I can recall of. Everyone had finished training so I'm guessing they're settling down like you should be" Even though the constant still life wasn't his forte.

"Yeah..." Sky said rubbing her eyes and calming down now. She gabbed her blade and rubbed her eyes again before she pulled on her sheath and walked out of the room. She stopped after a few steps and then she looked back into the door. "You coming?" she asked friendly poking her head in the door way smiling a little bit. She was planning to do some training again since she figured she could get use to it eventually and control it even."I don't want to. I've never relaxed truly in the past few years and it probably isn't going to start soon," Duke said laying back again and staring at the celling and laid his arm over his eyes and he clenched his teeth together. He muffled a cry as a single tear fell down his face. He laid there clenching his teeth tighter, he didn't know why but he couldn't hold it back any longer for some reason. He didn't even know why he was crying, but he figured that it was just because he always held it back.

He nods in satisfaction that she understood the situation at hand. He raised his eyebrows though as she walks to the exit of the room, poping her head back in and asking if he was coming. He smirks, standing and grabbing Mugen with a nod. "Of course, think you can keep up with me this time baka-teichou?" he asks, walking past her with a chuckle, damn he is in a good mood! The full moon is only a day away after all so it should be expected but he hated being giddy, it ruined his reputation!

"I feel like I should send you on a spa trip or something!" She said with jingling laughter after until it faded away. "Y-you ok?" His peculiar movement wasn't taken as much until a tear fell free from his eye. "S-sir?!" Xaio hopped up by his side and looked over him. What was his ailment? "Please sir...don't cry..." She draped herself over him in a hug. Her head fell upon his chest while her feet remained steadfast on the ground. "Don't cry..." She repeated softly.

Sky smiled and laughed. "According to you, I was doing a pretty good job until you whacked me in the head..." she said spinning her blades around getting use to the feeling quickly. She made her way back to the training area luckily near the hospital wing so it didn't take much time to reach there.Duke clenched his teeth and flinched at the feeling of her head on his chest. He took in a deep breath trying to calm himself down at least enough to stop crying, but it seemed like nothing was really working. "I'm sorry..." he said into his arm and started calming down and his crying ceiced.

He growls softly, before smirking. "Sure, you were doing alright. But, can you do that again without losing your temper? Or getting snared into traps that use rage against you? Right now, I highly doubt it," he states, walking into the training room and sets Mugen down, picking up the detestable wooden sword, deciding it to be safer than giving her the real deal, or myself. "Put your blades down, we aren't out to kill each other so we'll stick with the dumbass wooden blades," he states, nodding his head in the direction of the other blades.

"Shut up, I'm sure you would have as much trouble with something new, like your blood lust during a full moon," she said growling throwing her blades into the wall and grabbing two wooden katanas. She spun them around quickly and closed her eyes for a second and took a deep breath in and she sighed trying to calm down and focus on keeping it down rather then blade practicing.

He rolls his eyes, rising an eyebrow. "True, but that was two years ago and now that I have an 'alpha', I am sane," he states, his body relaxing. He had to keep whatever little temper he had in line, not to mention make sure he didn't get too excited and doing something foolish. He shuts his eyes, taking in a deep breath as he feels the world around him before snapping his eyes open. "Again, first move." He states, nodding towards her, wanting her to be able to warm up since she had been laying down for a while.

"Yeah, what ever," Sky said swinging her fake katanas around before she charged him strait on before she jumped off to the side and swung one katana at his shoulder and one at his front torso. She never like starting but at least she could warm up a little bit.

He smirks softly as she spins the blades about, probably getting used to the weight. When she charges he gets seriously, trying to not give anything away about his own intentions as he watches for hers. He watches as she jumps off to the side, giving him a double-threat as she aims for both his shoulder and torso. He jumps backwards, the swords going over and under him only centimeters to spare before he lands in a knealed position and aims for her legs.

Xaio pulled herself away when he ended his sobs. "Sometimes you confuse me sir...and I'm not sure if it's always in a good way." Sitting back down besides the bed, she allowed her eyes to stare blatantly at the wall. "What do you want to do right now if you could?" They needed something to talk about and look foward when he got better.

Sky leaped backwards quickly landing on her hands but her arm with her scar gave out and she hit the floor and his foot hit her hard in the same shoulder. She let out a small cry before she pushed herself up to her feet and swayed on her feet a little holding onto her shoulder and one of her katanas dropped to the floor but she still gripped onto the other one with her free arm. She growled and let her arm hang down since she couldn't feel it or move it all. Sky growled again and then she charged him again and used her blade as a elevation and leaped up with the extra momentum and kicked at his head."I would be flying if anything... Or maybe just paperwork," he said with his arm still cover his eyes.
