((Entering from Main Gate))

Entering through the front door, Beth moved in and walked towards the bar. She tried to avoid people, moving among them slowly until she sat down near to where the bartender was. Looking around for a while she took out a few coins and spun them on the wooden bar, trying to catch the bartenders attention without having to speak over the noise of the busy bar. When he approached she pointed to her favorite brand of rum, and passed across the coins.

"Just a rum for now, and maybe a meal if you have something."

She caught a glimpse of a man down the bar from her, and noted how his green eyes looked in the light. But quickly turned her face away to avoid any interest or confrontation. For now she was just content to quench her thirst and sit for a while.

A rum was pushed across to her, and her gold taken away, and as she gulped it down she sighed heavily. She would wait for the meal. She removed her Captain's hat, and placed it on the bar, brushing out her hair a few times with her fingers.

Liz turned hearing a heavy sigh. Her eyes focused on a person sitting at the bar. She turned back and with a shiver walked out into the frozen streets. She leaned against teh wall and pulled out what looked like a pack of cigars. They were a special cigar with an herbal medicine to get her off teh real cigars. She took a slow drag and teh herbal smell infiltrated her mind making it more sharp and focused. SHe saw every snowflake fall. SHe felt it was quiet though. Wya to quiet.

As Strider walked towards the pub he saw a young girl smoking outside it by the door.
"Those things will kill you." he said as he passed her.

((Entering from Main Gate))

William looked at the pub as he walked slowly down the street. It was a surprisingly long walk, and the sheer variety of people was amazing, even to him. He looked at a girl smoking by the door, and caught a whiff of the remedy that was in it. Something herbal in a cigar? Strange. He walked past her, giving her a slight nod as he made his way through the pub. He took a seat on the end, avoiding contact with people as much as possible.

"Excuse me, sir!" he yelled over the commotion in the pub. He asked for some food and slid the coins across the table, a little more than what it actually cost to encourage him to hurry. Despite the gnawing hunger in his stomach from the past few weeks of travelling, he managed to eat in as dignified a manner as being in a bar allowed.

Looking around, he noted a few people who stood out a bit, but otherwise did nothing to draw attention. He hoped nobody had noticed him while he looked around, but in such a busy place, that was a slim hope. He simply went on with his business, hoping nobody would disturb him.

Mobius sat on his stool, taking small sips of his liquor. he watched as more and more people came in off the streets. "Wow, this place sure got busy fast," he said to nobody in particular.

Strider continued to the door and tried to push it open but it didn't budge, so he pulled it and walked into the bar. It was so full that people were standing by the door. Strider walked over to the bar and found an empty stool, which took a while. He sat down and ordered a beer. When the bartender gave him his beer he pulled out a bottle out of his pocket and poured a red liquid into the glass.

Hex entered the bar and flew up to find Strider. He flew over to the bar next to him. He took the recently emptied seat next to strider and ordered a beer.
"So, we couldn't talk at the house?" He asked after taking a couple drinks from his beer.
"Not in front of the staff."
"Why not?"
"Because they talk to others outside."
"So that's how they found out."
"Yes it is. Now, I had you come here because no one is able to hear what we say."
"Ok, what did you want to talk about?"
"I want to open the gate to hell again."
"Again? You already tried to open it seven other times."
"I know but it will work this time."
"Maybe the reason it won't work is because there is no hell, ever think of that?"
"Oh hell is real, I've been there and taken over."
"When do you want to do this?"
"Tonight when the moon is directly above the third tower of the house."
"Ok for now we will enjoy our beers and at ten we will go to begin that."
"Good we agree."

The man called Strider had happened to sit down next to Mobius. Though no normal human would've been able to hear them in this noise, his keen Vincerian ears were able to barely make out some of what was being said. He was intrigued, but thought it better to keep to himself, at least for now. No point in getting himself into a fight on his first night in town.

It didn't take long before a meal was passed across to Beth. In preparation of moving, she collected her hat and snugly placed it back on her head. In one hand she carried her rum, and in the other the plate. What was on the place looked edible, but it wasn't exactly top grub. Or maybe that was exactly what it was, grubs. The thought made her smile as she left the bar, someone taking her seat almost immediately.

Walking past people she tried to soften her foot steps so the hard rubber sole of her boots didn't make loud clicking noises. And she slipped down into a seat at an empty table, her back turned to the bar.

Poking her food with the fork they had provided, she ate a mouthful and chewed slowly. Didn't taste too bad. Compared to what her travel rations had been, it was great.

Looking around as she continued to eat, there seemed to be a fair few pirates. And then there were also a fair few unusual people, that she didn't exactly recognize what they were.

William smiled to himself. Being human actually didn't attract attention, for once. He used to be the center of everything, since there weren't any humans around where he lived.

He noticed two people seemed to be in what looked like to him a rushed conversation. Strange. Normally, that means plotting, but what? He then saw the seat next to him was taken by Mobius, and quickly turned back to his plate before he would be noticed. Close call there, can't be doing that too much.

The furtive glance hadn't escaped Mobius' notice. Apparently he wasn't the only one who had noticed these two. He gave a quick glance at the man on his other side and saw him trying to be casual. "It's no concern of mine one what you try and listen in on," he said plainly, "but you're not doing a very good job of hiding it." He half twitched into a smile at these words, trying to keep it friendly. He slid slightly closer and lowered his voice. "You know these two?" He was having a much harder time listening in at this distance, but he'd heard enough to catch his attention.

"We will talk more details when we get alone." said Strider casually.
"Ok then lets drink" Hex replied, so they did. Strider, being a vampire, could drink as much as he wanted and not get drunk. Hex on the other hand, being Fae (who have never had beer), drank a sip of his beer and was pretty well drunk.

[Enters]

Yumi shivered underneath the leather jacket, the material obviously failing at it's job of keeping her warm. Shoving her ice cold hands into her pockets, she made her way through half-empty streets, her gaze observing but careful not to attract any attention. As Yumi passed Charlie's pub, her stomach let out a little howl. Making a quick decision, the young woman pulled the door open and made her way inside the pub. The musky smell of people and smoke overwhelmed her and had her wincing before making her way to the counter.

"Umm... rum on ice is good. Thanks." She murmered softly, but loud enough to be heard over what commotion was going on. After the order, Yumi picked up her glass and slid into an empty booth, hugging the jacket to her body.

In between sips, Yumi let out a satisfied sigh as the liquid warmed her belly. She pulled out a small black cellphone from her jean pocket and pressed a number on speed dial and held the thing to her ear. She didn't even wait for a greeting when the line picked up. "Hey Andrew, Its Yumi. I'm just getting a bite to eat before I show up. Don't wait up okay?." She said, smiling slightly at the muffled curse on the other side. "Ciao." She murmered, sounding amused before hanging up the phone. Now that work was taken care of, she glanced around, trying to find familiar faces while gulping her drink.

"Avoiding company or looking for it?" Beth asked, having finished with her meal and just casually drinking her own rum. She was looking at the woman that had just bought a drink and come in to sit in a booth mere meters away. This part of the pub was a little quieter, and she had noticed someone come over almost instantly.

Standing up and dropping her empty plate on the bar, she tossed over a few coins and ordered a full bottle of rum and a full glass of fresh ice. Moving over she slipped into the other side of the booth and smiled. She was never one to ignore meeting someone, especially if it meant she could enjoy small chat.

Yumi glanced up, startled; but her expression remained impassive. Her green irises slowly fell upon an unfamiliar face with an unfamiliar voice. it took mere seconds to figure out that the woman was speaking to her in which a small smile touched Yumi's lips in greeting. She was a bit iffy at having a stranger approach her, seeing how it never happened often, but reacted to the woman's politeness none the less.

"That depends. Would you say you're pretty good company, or pretty bad?" She tossed back teasingly, a playful smile making her lips twitch.
