As the battle went on inside the ring between Matt Allens and Jeff Hardy continued, Mason would be seen walking down the ramp with his Universal Championship in hand. Cameras panned from the action inside to show Mason making his way to ringside. He would walk passed the ring and walk towards the announcer's table. Aleks placed the championship on the table, and would unbutton his suit jacket. Mason took a seat as the announcer's let people at home know that Mason would be joining them. The champ would put on a headset and began the conversation.

Michael Cole: Welcome to the announcer's desk here, The Universal Champion Aleks Mason. This is an unexpected visit.

Mason would then begin to talk after the introduction, "Well you see Michael, as the champion I've gotta carry this show on my back and as you can tell by the last match and this one right here, we've got a sh*t show tonight. Cena was supposed to face Orton last match, but I beat that snake to a pulp and he no showed. Here we had Matt Allens up against Rocky, but this washed up spot money Electric Daisy Carnival loser, Jeff Hardy thinks he can just stroll in and take his spot. You see, that's the problem here Cole, there's no sense of structure in this company. And now I have to come out to save the night."

Unbeknownst to Allens after Hardy sent him into the ropes, Jeff would come sliding down in the center of the ring on his stomach in hopes to make the other leap over him and rebound the ropes once more.

Quickly thinking on his feet, Matt would hop over the downed Jeff Hardy, to rebound against the opposite ropes, coming back once more!

Hardy looks to catch Matt with his own variation of the flashback neckbreaker!

Matt would go crashing down to the canvas after the devastating move by Hardy! while rolling over onto the mat, he would notice Aleks Mason sitting at the announce table, and was unaware of his appearance beforehand.

Jeff Hardy goes for a quick cover!  

[Matt Gennison]

The referee would drop down and count to one before Matt got the shoulder up, showing signs of resilience and letting Hardy know this wasn't going to be an easy match.

Jeff places his hands on his hips following the kick out then turning around to see Aleks Mason. Who he ignores then turns attention back on Allens now trying to pick him up again.

Slowly getting picked up by Jeff, Matt would attempt to go for a quick rake of the eyes!

Jeff's eyes are raked as he stumbles back trying to cover them from further damage

Seeing Jeff stumble back, Matt Allens would try to stay on him, grabbing him by the belt of his pants and his neck collar, attempting to toss him shoulder first-into the ring post!

Jeff is hoisted up and sent crashing into the pole shoulder-first, showing a face of agony and yelling in pain.

Following up with that, Matt would grab Jeff by his belt, and bring Jeff out from between the second turnbuckle, attempting a belly-to-back Suplex onto the arm that was just sent into the pole!

Michael Cole: Tonight we have seen Dean Ambrose and The Big Show advancing from iMPACT to the Money in the Bank match. Will it be Matt Allens or Jeff Hardy advancing? Aleks, we've got to imagine the nerves are settling in with you as you see the men who will represent iMPACT in the Money in the Bank match.

Mason would stare across the table to Michael Cole, who luckily for him was sitting very far from the champ. "Really, Cole? You claim to be a 'broadcast journalist' but you ask something as idiotic and ignorant as that? Cole, I made my statement earlier tonight. These men in the ring right now are the ones who should feel nervous, because the Universal Champion decided to take a front row seat tonight."

Hardy went crashing hard with a thud on the unforgiving canvas. And on his already attacked arm at that.
