New Hope Hospital ~the RP~

((Uh oh))

Brain looked wide-eyed at the man before walking absentmindedly towards the operating table and lying carefully on it. He looked dead and he seemed to show no pain even after walking on his broken toe. He stared up at the ceiling without any remorse or emotion in his eyes, just staring like a meat puppet. He was fully hypnotized.

((Are you gonna like... kill him or something?))

Rose hugged Sarah. Something inside of her suddenly understood that she didn't have to be scared anymore. Rose took one of her fingers and drew a rainbow in the air, it turned real and she smiled and laughed happily. "Sarah! Look Sarah look!." Rose pointed to the rainbow.

The "other boy" was an overly-tall man named Andre who was wearing what had once been a well-tailored business suit. It was now much the worse for wear, having gone through a bit of a street brawl with a gang of would-be muggers. The man, too, was somewhat beat-up and in particular had a very badly injured kneecap which had been hit by a crowbar.

Having no defenses against mental assault, Andre's eyes readily lost focus and he nodded numbly as the Doctor spoke to him. He sat in the chair indicated, prepared to fetch tools as needed.

((Nah, he just rolls like that. Lifes no fun wihtout a good scare wink ))

A cruel smile slid across the doctors face.... Once again he could skip using anasthetics... The controll he wielded blocked pain.

"Alright then, lets set to work..."

Almost an hour passed, withthe doctor working at a fevered pace. His methods... were disturbing. He manualy reset ont only bones, but veins nerves, and just about all other tissues. He cut holes that no other physician would dare work with, the same sort of vivisections used by coroners.

But it was his final touch which made the whole experience most disturbing. Near the end of the surgery, he bade Andre to fetch him a small container of dark red substance.

"Well, normaly I wouldn' be so keen to try it out.... but I guess everythign needs to be tested once." he walked back over towards Brain and quickly swallowed the contense of the container himself.

The doctor quickly strugled to remove his gloves, revealing hands which were quickly sweating off a bizzare organe-red liquid. "Exactly as expected." he said, placing his hand inside the wounds, filling them with the substance before moving to the next.

As he worked he chuckled "This is why you can't tell anyone."

He then turned to Andre, and comanded him to lift his pants leg, holding one of his ozzing hands to that wound.

"The doctor thenn began then broke of his mental controll, and began to wash off the various tools he had dirtied, his hands ceasing their odd manifestation.

Sarah's eyes sparkled with pride, and she held the girl closer.

"You've got a real talent, dont you?" She set the girl back on her feet. "Next time things calm down, I'll teach you a bit of magic, alright?"

Rose nodded and smiled. "I'd love to learn some magic!" She then wandered off to doodle 'Get Well Soon' signs on some doors of patients.

Brian sat upright his mental disposition being healed just as much as his body had been. he sat upright and smiled at Andre looking down and seeing the sudden appearance of scars. Some kind of strange magic he thought. He looked at the doctor and shakily stood up and hugged him silently even though much of his own blood was on the doctors clothes he felt obligated to him to at least thank him. As the doctor might well recognize he had no voice-box to speak of so even a healer couldn't heal something that wasn't there, he would have needed a transplant from a donor. He looked up silently the memories of dead men almost wiped from his mind. He was as close to innocent as he could be.

((Needed an excuse for him to remain mute. Talking would ruin his character.))

((Unless there was a hoe in his neck, the Doctor wouldn't have looked))

"Theres no need for that." said the doctor, who continued to wash off his tools. "I should be thanking you.... Everything went exactly as I had planed it..." As time progressed, the doctor's skin tone began to become pale, as if he was suddenly progressing throughs days of sleep deprivation in a matter of secons.

"Make sure you check out with the other healer on your way out, and do take care."

"Thank you." Andre said, feeling like he'd just come out of a groggy haze. He didn't really remember much... maybe he'd been given a strong medication to help with the pain in his leg... which was thankfully gone now.
And he was glad to see Brian feeling so much better. He really couldn't stand to see kids in any sort of pain.
"Come on, Brian." he said. "Let's leave the Doctor to his work."
Taking the little boy by the hand, he walked back out to where Sarah was.
"What do we owe?" he asked.

He held Andre's hand tightly, keeping close to him his headphones out. He was thinking to himself and bobbing his head to the beat of his thoughts. He looked up at the lady behind the main desk with wide eyes at how big it was to him. Andre and the boy he was with Brian seemed almost foils of each other in size and dress. He had not gotten a chance to buy Brian real clothes which in this case were tattered and bloody rags to his nice suit.

Rose was getting used to the place, people came and went. She only talked to Sarah. Something inside of her yearned for another person that she could talk to. She kept makings signs while thinking of this matter.

Sarah shook her head to the boys question. "If the doctor didn't give you anything to show me, then you've no charge. Just try and stay in beter condition, would you?"

The doctor sliped out of the operating room and made his ay back to the door to the basement, passing by Rose as he went. "Excuse me" he said softly as he hurried by.

Rose walked down a hallway until she saw a boy with a tall man. She began thinking as she made her way over to the two of them. In her thinking state unknowingly Rose drew a teddy bear in the air and it fell on the floor. "Oh no!" Rose said surprised by the bear.

He thought she had dropped it. Silently he picked up the bear and lifted it up to her carefully looking at her and smiling. His teeth weren't exactly perfect but they were good for a kid who until recently lived on the streets. he was covered in a fine layer of blood but other than that he seemed very very nice. He realized her had gotten blood all over the bear. He winced and recoiled by nature.

Rose smiled and drew another bear and she caught it this time. "Don't be scared, I'm not mad nor am I going to hurt you."she said and smiled again.
"You can have the bear I wanted to give it to you or anybody that needed a furry friend." Rose smiled sweetly. With that said Rose drew more teddy bears and a box to hold them in, also a sign saying 'Free Teddy Bears' she laughed happily as she drew everything.

Andre nodded at Sarah. "Certainly, thank you very much."
He noticed Rose and the teddy bears, and smiled.
"That's very nice of you." he said approvingly.
To Brian he remarked in a reassuring way, "We'll get that bear cleaned up."
