Yousei lingered unsuredly for a moment, before running on. As she ran, she glanced back at Miles, before returning her gaze to meet the road ahead. Once more, she found her mind somehow falling on the subject of the peculiar, blue stone, though she soon shook it off. She had to keep her focus on the task at hand. She knew that with each step that they took, they were that much closer to a battle. The battle...
Karasu looked to Witium's violet gaze. The ferocity in his eyes had no effect on her. Nothing could faze her, now. She merely ran onward, as the others had. Not once did she look back or falter in her steps. Instead, she gained speed. Her claws began to rip at the ground, as she thought of her prey, forcing her to gain even more speed. She wanted to feel fresh blood run down from her mouth, and bones break between her jaws. She had never felt this way before, and could not describe nor control it, if she wanted to. All she could do was hope that they would appear soon. The ones that had caused the people of her master so much strife and anguish. So that she could, once and for all, take revenge.

Miles watched the others run off down the hall and sighed deeply, turning back to face the enemy. He flicked his wrist quickly, flipping the blades from his weapon. He hummed quietly to himself as the boomerang was encased in flame. He began to spin the weapon above his head, all still while humming his tune.
Kraid pushed on ahead, scanning each and every door as he passed by them. He stopped sharply at the end of the mile long hall way and glanced back to the others. "This place seemed alot smaller on the outside."

"GET THEM!" They officers shouted, chasing them anxiously. The head officer was last to go, before shouting at Seg. "Elite Officer! You make sure this one doesn't get to far away. We will capture the rest of these putrid elves!"

Miles released his weapon towards the guards, now singing aloud a song from his childhood. He grinned as he attacked the enemy and watched the flame fly.

Seg watched as the guards were torn down by the flaming boomerang. "Well, someone has certainly learned some nice tricks." Gritting his teeth together he clenched his hand on his blade hilt and began to dash towards Miles, at the last second he leaped to the side and ran past him punching a remaining guard aside.
"Excuse me, but I got a group to catch!" Waving with a cocky motion of his hand he continued his pursuit wondering the human guards would be enough to keep the elf from following.

Witium looked back at Seg as he noticed him chasing them, "Eh, i'll take care of you later." He hung back so he was now the last in line of their group. With some concentration he had an idea of where Seg was behind him. None the less, the elf kept up with the group and looked quickly to his surroundings. A puzzled thought raced through his mind, ~Where is kraid taking us?~

The head officer nodded, as he watch the Elite Officer chase after the stayaways. Sortly afterward, he ran in the opposite direction to inform the clan leader.

Miles watched as the officers took off in either direction and stood with weapon drawn. He stood dumbstruck for a moment before placing his weapon on his back and dusting himself off. "What, I'm not good enough to fight?" He muttered as he took off after the others.

Yousei turned back once more, to see Miles running to catch up with them. She sighed and smiled silently to herself, relieved that he would be joining them as they faced the cult. His presence had always comforted her, though she knew not how..
Karasu was now far beyond the rest of the group. It had taken her several minutes before she noticed this, though she dared not stop running. Her adrenaline had risen and her thirst for blood had only intensified as she ran. She turned back to see the others. They were disappearing from her sight. Somewhere in the back of her mind, a bit of logic and reasoning still lingered, whispering soft, sensible phrases to her, now and again. Presently, they were telling her that she knew not the way to the cult and that she should slow down and await the others if she were to be able to take her revenge, at all. She knew that it was the only option she had, and she dug her heels into the floor and came to a screeching hault. She turned to await the others, her eyes fierce and tail swishing violently, as though it were a whip. Her stance was so ferocious that it seemed as though her intention was to pounce the group, rather than rejoin them...

Miles caught up with the group but dared not stop. "Come on move it!" He called back to them, grabbing Yousei and Witums hands as he bolted past.
Kraid sat at the oppsit end of the hall, still awaiting the others arrival. He shook his head and glanced down the long corridor. "It's your move" He muttered to a darkened figure accross from him, sitting on the floor. The figure lifted a small castle looking statue and moved it to a black square on the board.
"Check Mate."
