Aura was thrown off her balance, and when Rahvine kicked at her legs, she fell, forced to let go in order to break her own fall.

The unusually tall woman corrected her glasses for a moment before saying to Gwendolyn, "So what have you been up to?"
"Me? I'm not sure. Everything seems blanketed in fog."
The woman tilted her head, "Are you okay? Do you need me to go over a check-up?"
Gwendolyn shook her head, "No, it's just... you seem rather familiar..."
"Famililar? Okay, we only crossed paths a few times when I was an assistant to the professor, but I know you rather well, Rachel. And by the way, you can prefer to me by Miss Litchi if you will."
Gwendolyn put down her meat bun and looked up to her squinting her eyes, "So my name IS in fact Rachel..."
Litchi gasped, "Wait, don't tell me Takamagahara is involved.... Hmm... Um, Rachel, do you remember what happened with my... experiment? Where seithr could be-"
"Harnessed from beyond the Boundary? .... How do I remember that?" Gwendolyn's head was hurting slightly.
"So you remember only that much? Turns out, I had to end Arakune's life myself. It wasn't what I wanted, but it was what HE wanted. But enough to dwell in the past, what are you doing here?"
Gwendolyn paused for a moment before answering, "To get answers... Mainly about Takamagahara."
"Ahhh.... They watch over the 13th Hierarchical City, and some even think that they watch over the Continuum Shift itself! Maybe your missing memories has something to do with what they did in the past... or maybe the future." Litchi sipped from her tea cup.
Gwendolyn tried to put the pieces together, "Maybe... something happened in this future, and now I have missing memories and have been sent back to the past. What could father possibly hide from me?"
Litchi cleared her throat, "Maybe... you should ask Jubei for answers. You know Jubei right? He's small, from the Kaka clan, can beat anybody in a fight if he wanted too. You two are... acquaintances."
"Oh, it's coming back to me. Wears an orange cloak of some sort?"
Litchi nodded, "Yup."
Gwendolyn stood up and went to the door.
Litchi stood up as well, "Hey wait! If you see someone named Carl Clover, can you make sure to tell him to meet Miss Litchi? It would mean a lot..."
Gwendolyn nodded and proceeded to exit out of the building...

Rahvine kept running, glancing back over her shoulder every now and then as she did. "It'll be dark soon..." That means it'll already be dark by the time I get to the Lunar Sanctuary. It'll make me a little less visible, but it'll also make it harder for me to check out the area before I make my move to get inside...

Rahvine was beginning to pant with the effort of continuing to run without resting, but continued running anyway. If I stop now, and Aura's following me she'll stop me again. ...I'll have to stop once I get close to the Lunar Sanctuary,... but maybe by then she'll have had to stop and rest,... that'll buy me a little time...

Rahvine's pace was gradually beginning to slow, she gritted her teeth as she tried to force herself to go faster again. I might have to find some way of hiding from Aura for a while... I don't think I can keep going like this for much longer without stopping to catch my breath... But I've already wasted so much time dealing with all those people... And Aura'll be able to smell me... I'd have to figure out a way of throwing her off my scent... thought Rahvine, gasping for breath as she tried to keep running.

"Ugh! Aura get off! Get off me!" screamed Rahvine, pushing at Aura as she tried to wiggle out from under her.

Rahvine snarled something in japanese, then began wiggling again this time trying to reach and pull something from her belt. "I'm serious Aura!! Get off before you make me hurt you!!"

Rahvine continued wiggling for a moment more then abruptly stopped as she finally managed to pull the silver dagger from her belt. "Aura!! Get off me now!!" screamed Rahvine as she yanked her arm free from Aura's weight and stabbed at Aura's shoulder.
