"I thought he was protecting the girl anyway. Why do we need to protect her too?"

"...She found out Slade's real name...That's taboo......"

"And we have to care for her, why..?"  

[Zahzi]

"Because you both owe me, and because I said so."

"You realize we hid to live, right? It seems rather... Evil to send us off on a task that will get us killed."

King looked out the window to where Slade had run to.
"...Because something tells me he won't be coming back unharmed from this..."

"He's running into the wolves den armed only with a knife, so to speak."

"I could see him coming out, if the wolves were animals. But he's got a gun, so he's fine."
