So... You can sleep, but everyone else can't? That's kinda selfish.

Umm... No... I don't sleep at night. I thought we already established this, in our club.

That was directed at Notte. I posted it somewhere around fifteen seconds after your post.

Okay! Played some more Alone in the Dark, had to do a driving mission. I almost puked. The driving is so loose, it's almost unbearable. And in this mission, if you screw up once in certain parts, you're dead as could be.
Now, to combat this, what it is you drive through is just... holy s**t. I can't begin to describe it with words. It's like The Day After Tomorrow meets War of the Worlds. The destruction that occurs before your very eyes is just epic (while it lasts). This game seems to be much more about the drama and scale of things happening around you at some points, which is fine in the doses it gives you. The game doesn't really feel too creepy, but there are points where it's pretty intense (SH or RE-wise, not RE4-wise).
I think this game feels like an apocalyptic action/horror title, but not like RE4. It's still got plenty of what Alone in the Dark used to be about, but it adds some fresh air into the series and does it successfully. More to come as I progress further into the depths of the hellish Central Park! biggrin

You know, I should just embrace any game that isn't a first person shooter. Seeing as how rare it is these days.

Trust me, that's just a small part of it. You just use it for shooting (which I do rarely, save it for when I need it) or looking around before you make your next move most of the time. You could play the whole game like that, but I very much prefer seeing the dramatic camera angles that show the absolute massiveness of the carnage. I honestly can't even get over that. xd I prefer melee instead of shoothing, though, so yeah. Nothing like smashing a monster in the face with a burning stool...

It's coming out for PS3 in the fall with exclusive episodic content and all that stuff, just in case you didn't know.

I wasn't sure when, but I do know that it's coming for the PS3. But I got other priorities in the fall. Being Silent Hill 5 and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. Provided either of those titles actually gets released on schedule. Which is probably unlikely.

Hey, as long as it's good, I'm willing to wait. Much rather have them push back the date and tweak some thinks to perfection than not wait and end up with something that could easily have been fixed with a little redoing.
