Levin frowned, "I'm sorry to hear that Emi. It must have been tough for you to fend for yourself, all alone...As for me, I don't have any memories of my childhood, and I don't remember having a mother or father. But for some reason, the only one I was able to remember was Gwen." He stirred his food around, "Maybe I just poofed in Runo out of nowhere." He took a bite of the vegetables and rice, and looked up at her, "I still think you had it harder than I did... But I just can't shake the feeling that I'm forgetting something important, even if it might be something bad."

Hideki raised an eyebrow. "So...you are a type of time traveller?" she said quietly. Well she had heard of a time elemental, so this didn't quite surprise her. She thought about Xircas statement for a few seconds until Eiji started to whine slightly. "hush...if you like we can discuss these matters in my quarters...since I have a patient resting..."
Emi shook her head. "Don't be...it's something you couldn't control..." She placed her hand on Levin's gently. "Maybe somethings are best left forgotten..." she said with a sad expression. She didn't want to see Levin go through more sadness again. "If anything...maybe this is why I'm drawn to you..."she said thinking aloud.

Good, maybe now we'll be able to leave... thought Drea as she continued listening silently. If these people will actually just let us leave that is... added Drea mentally as she glanced at Hideki for a moment, still frowning slightly.

Levin smiled at her, "I can honestly say that... you're the only reason why I chose to stay." If it weren't for Emi's appearance, he would most likely have left the village after his sister's death, or worse, he could have died. "I'm alive and well today, because of you Emi." She grasped her hand, "I could always return the favor in some way... within reason."

Emi raised an eyebrow. "Within reason...?" she said with a smirk. The bounty hunter glanced down her hands with a small smile. "I don't know what to say..."
It was official, Levin ha rendered her speechless. She didn't know she was that important. On the streets, she was often regarded as filth, and she envied Kenji and Hideki who had loving parents they could return to and they could avoid the awful looks that she often recieved.
Hideki looked over a Drea with a sad expression. "Unforuntaley, SIN has claimed many villages and lives..." she said quietly.

Drea flinched slightly as Hideki looked over at her. ...H-huh? Why is she looking over at me all of a sudden...? I was hoping they'd just ignore us and let us leave...

Levin blushed and scratched his wolf ears, "I mean, y'know..." He laughed to himself and smiled genuinely at Emi, "You don't have to say anything. I just wanted you to feel that you belong." He stood up with his cup on top of his plate, "Do you mind if I take your plate?"

Emi shook her head. "No...I don't mind..." she said blushing now. What the heck could that have met?She handed him her plate and ran his hand through his hair before she started to playfully tug his ears.
Hideki shook her head. "But in a way that's kinda why we are all here..."

That's not why we're here though... not really... thought Drea looking away with a slight frown before blushing slightly with her next thought. We're here,... because... I kind of liked K-Kenji... and no one had ever called me gorgeous before...

Xircas didn't know what to think. "Well to be honest I'm an alchemist. He lifted up his right hand to show Hideki the alchemist symbol he have craved into his hand." But I did study up on time travel just a bit...but I never knew it would be this great." said Xircas

Hideki blinked a few times. "Trust me on this, time is nothing you ever want to mess with..." she said studying the mark. "I think your are the first alchemist I have met..."

Xircas looked at Hideki. "Really...well I just mainly use my sword for all the fighting, but sometimes I would use my alchemy based powers for back up when I'm trouble. " He soon noticed she was looking at the symbol that he had carved into his hand. "It's pretty interesting, isn't it?" said Xircas.
