"Your mistake." Myst said under his breath. He pulled out his axe and pointed it at his opponent. Tendrils of darkness stretched out quickly heading for him. Of course, this attack was fairly weak, it would never prove fatal. It was simply a test of strength.

Defeaco walked from Naru's castle, slowly tapping his feet against the ground... one after another. This was his city now. The army was closing in. The great army was closing in. It was time to start taking it from the inside. He continued walking ever so slowly, dead souls rising from under the city into his staff. The channeled darkness from the shadow clone earlier was perfect to fuel his great monstrosity. He reached the square to see Myst and a familiar face readying for a fight. He walked right between the two, grabbing the tendrils like they were a complete concrete solid object. Defeaco then clamped his hands, destroying the tendrils completely. "Death Knight, we must begin. He is approaching," he said with a deep grin. He took his staff from his back, a golden armor starting to grow upon his body. Wings then started to sprout from light, the sabre's blade grew wider, and Defaeco's eyes grew golder. His hair became white with golden streaks as a golden helm with two metallic wings appeared on his head. From out of his staff, a golden light formed.

The golden light started to swirl around like a ribbon, flowing around the area. The small diamond that hung around his neck that held Pegasus was taken by it, and then, in a snap it flew into the center of the portal. It took a few seconds, or so it seemed. Everything went still for a small moment that felt like eternity. A pulse of light flew into the sky from within the portal, splitting the forming clouds. A monstrous silhouette of a something snapped into view for just a split second, but it flew into the air. Defaeco had disappeared with it, but he would be back. The clouds formed together, but they became a golden color, even though the night was coming. On the horizon, a dreadful army started to appear.

Tobias heard what Defaceo said, and laughed, knowing what was coming. He turned to the one who was trying to fight him. "Looks like we will have to settle this another time. That is, if you survive." Knowing what was fixing to happen, this fool may die today. Myst would miss the chance to kill him himself. That did not matter though. He turned to where Defaceo was. He had a pretty good idea of what Defaceo planned. He looked to see the huge silhouette growing on the horizon. He had no idea what it was, but knowing Defaceo, it was sure to be interesting.

"I'm offended..." Itazuki began speaking, his sword cutting through the air and placing itself in his grip. "You have to have this big a** brute come in and stop your battles for you. If you want to fight me and forget about the occult of dead bastards come find me at Etheral Range." With that said, Itazuki slashed forward, cutting a gap into space and lunged through a portal of dark matter. The gaping tear seemingly closed slowly, and black veins of madness started to sprout but only died.

The city was now surrounded, the various inhabitants of the surrounding areas now bolstered the already massive army. Crosses were erected at seemingly random positions around the city, though they all faced the center, the portal. Upon the crosses people were nailed, mostly prisoners that had nothing to do with the cult, but here and there, blacked robed acolytes were nailed to the wood, seeming to marshal the energies of the others, preparing a spell of epic proportions. Within the city, the spell already woven by death and the shadowy machinations of his covert agents, began to take shape, the outside influx of power causing the dead to rise, within the city. Citizens were devoured in the streets as the hastily assembled militia tried to stem the flow from the graveyards and seemingly random buildings. Gargoyles, looming from the gothic spires, leapt to life, possessed by spirits, and swooped down upon unsuspecting people traveling alone.

Outside the city, massive columns of skeletal warriors, and disorganized hordes of zombies marched towards the walls, ladders in tow, a battering ram with them. Catapults fired upon the walls, and fleshy giants did march. From the city walls, robed people begin to chant, and massive fireballs incinerated hundreds of the dead, whirlwinds tore through ranks and ranks. In response a dreadful, ghostly screaming, howls of pain, sounded from everywhere, nowhere, here and there a wizard fell dead, bleeding from every orifice. The siege began in earnest.

Tommy, hidden deep in the back of robed cult members walked away from the small army and notice a stray child running around aimlessly, trying to seek protection but death lurked closely by.

A finger tapped repeatedly on the boy's shoulder, he turned to see a man in the same black hoods as the others but some thing odd struck the boy, this man seemed sympathetic and he carried a delightful smile even during all this carnage. "Where's your mum." He had funny little accent. The child yelped. "She...dead." Tommy's face swiftly contorted into sadness for the child's loss. "Well, laddy, that's no good." His accent changed slightly. "I'll take you some where safe."

The boy was relieved and happily snuggled up against Tommy. Tommy grinned devilishly, a new persona shrouded his being and consumed him entirely, the boy started to feel hot but then suddenly fell forward with a black blade jutting out from his mouth. Tommy pulled his arm out from the boys back, amber danced convincingly around the blade and the boy soon turned into a pile of ashes with out the slightest trace of a strong fire.

Tommy continued on, send a thread of darkness through the skull of another helpless victim. All these murders did not phase him,the only thing to show evidence of human characteristic was the deranged smile of glee on his face.

He then quickly lunged forth knocking a woman down on to the blood stained ground, her life force would soon be leaving her. Each breath she took she screamed for help but help was void. He clenched a single bony fist and rammed it continuously into her face, till nothing but a mangled piece of flesh tied to a bit of bloody bone.

The clouds parted yet again, a black square glowing. The clouds seemed to explode when hundreds of Soul nights came through the clouds, each landing perfectly on their feet. Their legs bent, the armor on the shins overlapping the knee pads. Each spread out launching into civilians, fists breaking through their organs. Blood hit walls, and the castle continued to lower out of the clouds. Defaeco stood on the center of on of the outer walls, looking to the north. He was giggling, soaking in the aura of death around him. Energies were flowing into him, dark energies. Though, the energies were being purified into a light, an evil light. Golden wings were spreading and his armor seemed to glow a malicious aura. He stepped onto the tip of the wall, the castle suddenly stopping, two hundred feet into the sky.

He raised his hands, and four drawbridges each opened. More knights ran out, jumping into more of the crowd, slicing heads. These wore lighter armor and had two thin blades on their backs. Any one who tried to escape was cut, blades cutting in between shoulder blades. The center of the portal was starting to spiral, followed by the outer area. A darker aura could be felt in the city. Many of the living humans had to stop because of the sudden feeling of nausea. Bony hands, scaled hands, and even skinned hands were reaching out of the portal.

People fell into two categories now, the ones who were inside, and the ones who milled about in the streets, getting weapons and fleeing the various mobs of the dead raised inside the walls. The encroaching mist was swept away by the valiant efforts of the mages, risking their very minds as they conjured the winds to blow it away, many died. Dieter now looked over the field from a massive siege tower, carved of bones, intricate carvings and designs seeming to flow throughout the whole. He was now completely within his beloved magick, body in the center of a design, mind wherever the undead stood, wherever his minions called forth the blasphemous winds. The body of the living god made jerky movements, arms moving in wild yet perfect movements, he was floating now. From everywhere, quiet yet audible over the wretched screaming, came the whispers, "Repent, repent, repent..." fading away each time, but when they started again, they were stronger. This cycle was eventually broken by a shoat, "Repent for the sins of the Flesh!" In the center of the city, over the portal, a vortex appeared , and within it souls swirled, the ghostly orchestra was heard throughout the land.

((Note that I have permission to use Doel.))

Doel stood in a square, preaching to the growing crowd, "Repent, for thou hast sinned, unclear thought, the smiting of ideas. But you must surely see, the great master, the Carrion God, offers a chance at forgiveness, and eternal life, an eternal servitude of clear thought, and perfect decision, a life spent within the greater reach of the MAGICK!" The man pulled out a knife and then said, "But the master needs you help, kill this transient body that your soul is in, kill it and the master will give you the gift of eternity!" An imperative to obey swept through the still growing crowd, zombies driving them towards the spot. Black robed adepts appeared here and there, pulling on the vestments from packs that they all carried, knives there as well. The crowd kneeled, awaiting the cold kiss of death, the eternal chill of immortality. The butchery began, the militia unable to get through the spirits that appeared around them, guards to the sacrifice. After the crowd was killed, the adepts turned the knives upon themselves, and committed suicide, Doel the last of all.

The swirling vortex sought out those tainted be the magick, and overloaded them with the purest of winds. THe mages did die, exploding, screaming, eaten alive by phantasms of their own insane creation. The barrage of the elements upon the approaching engines of war, the legions of the dead, ceased for now. The air now grew cold, the battering ram was close, and the endless smash of rocks upon the walls could not be halted. The giants of flesh drew near.

● It's Amazing! ●

A wall of what seemed to be demons surrounded Ethral, and no one was to save them. "Origin, is this truly your wish?" Creed questioned, as a portal of mass opened up on top of a building, crushed completely, a skyscraper brought down to the ground. Creed appeared in the debris, a look of disgust covering his blood soaked face. Zombies were everywhere, the beasts were soulless, the eyes seemed to look blank, nothing within them. "I love it... so much pain, they were brought to the ground by a false profit. The deity brought you to the ground you damn fools!" Drawing his blade, he began to walk towards the closest cross, a member of the rebel hung on it, it seemed he was also part of the cult, or a sacrifice, it was unknown. Running his hand down the shaft of the crucifix, Creed felt guilty, a reminder of his own past of destruction filled him. He was on the wrong side of the conflict, and this time, he needed to cause some destruction for good. "I need to feel complete... I need to matter to the one I loved..." Tears began to fall down his face, his bright pink sweatshirt shining brightly as Creed's Crimson hair flew savagely. Golden gems stared at the massive pile of beasts that lay before him. "Origin made me kill once for destruction, now he makes me kill for restoration." But if it is futile... why do you make me do this master? Slashing a single time, the crucifix was launched from the ground as the man jumped into the air, kicking it as it spun quickly, breaking on the ground, shards of flesh and wood hitting the nearby undead soliders.

Walking slowly through the pile of zombies that lay before him, Creed winced in pain. "Alright... I am going to unlock my power." At that moment, disrupt the power was unleashed, his blade rumbling as the seal that held back his strength was unleashed, causing him to scream as power flowed around him, Cringe expelling so much around him, that those reaching out to grab him were instantly incinerated.

Breaking apart his blade into two seperate forms, Creed held an axe and blade. The Axe was long like a blade, Two sided, and very thick, with a pure white color. His sword was also the same color, and just as long, yet it was very thin, almost like a rapier, engraved with a smiling face across the blade, a frown across the axe. "Lets go..." He uttered as he smashed his axe into the ground, the building next to him trembling as it lifted from the ground and fell over the closest monsters. "Cult of dead weakness, I am here to take you on, to kill you, to disband you, to stop hell from coming to soon." Slashing his his blade, what seemed like thousands of slashes of cringe went out to the creatures around him. He slashed faster then the undead could come, his speed so impressive, his power so great, they could not touch him, yet he could only last so long before growing tired, or bored. He needed to stop them. He was getting no where, and the army would never decrease in size, as hell was on their side.

Dieter noticed a c***k in the perfectly woven tapestry of his magick, a small imperfection that could bring down the whole thing. He would have to deal with it personally, such were the requirements of the siege, but he could not move his body. A god inside. He would not have to move, his spirit could attack this thing, make it pay for the sins against the magick itself. That the elements were gifted to the being was an atrocity in the mind of the necromancer; such things could not stand.

A shadow rose upwards from the body, still motioning maniacally, still talking in evil tongues. The shadow was humanoid in shape and proportion, with a birdlike head, and four arms, claws at the end; it was unnaturally skinny, a its movements were trailed in shadow. The creature god looked down at this thing killing the undead. The arms were held to its sides, slightly out, palms pointed up. Though it did not move its beak, it quite obviously said "Punishment for sin." ITs voice was gurgling, and sounded unclean. The very sound of it enough to drive lesser beings insane.

The Carrion God prepared for the confrontation.

The hands on the edge of the portal started to clench the ground, pulling their bodies upward. Mangled faces started to rise from the darkness, red eyes, no eyes, hairless, snake-tongued monsters rose. Many types of demons were crawling to the surface, each unique, but just like in the case many years before... the demons continued to crawl out. Defaeco laughed from his high tower, realizing that his plan would come true. He walked along the side of the turret now, heading to the top of it to face Northwest towards the Oracle's mountain. Could you predict this? he thought, wishing he could project thoughts. Defaeco raised his staff into the air in his right hand, collecting all of the darkness being projected around the city, soaking him in the purified light.

He jumped from the tower, now in his final form. The angelic king landed on the ground smoothly, his wings flapping lightly. A demon tried to attack him, as they were everything, undead and human alike, so Defaeco simply grabbed it's neck as it ran towards him. The demons feet flew forward, causing it to lose balance, so Defaeco swung it to the ground, breaking it's legs, then continued to twist it like a rag breaking what seemed like each of it's bone. It was a somewhat lizard like demon that could walk, though now it was small scraps of darkness. He looked to the left to see three of his Soul Knights fighting against three demons, about an equal match. Ahead of him, a demon seemed to kick nothing, until a house broke into view. It was a family hidden by a magic barrier. Defaeco pointed his finger at the demon and family at the moment they were paralell and shot a spear of light from his right index finger, piercing the demon and hitting a candle that was lit above. It fell to the ground of the well-kept house, lighting it a fire.

Defaeco turned to see another demon leap at him, this one very frog like. He drew his wide bladed sabre in a quick motion, slicing through the demon's head, down past it's abnormally long tail, then sheathed the sword.. He then walked in the general direction of where Myst should be, maintaining the portal. Whilst walking, he directed his left hand towards the cut in half demon behind him. A blast of light vaporized it. The castle above the portal was now lowering a foot per minute, giving the siege 3 hours. It was obvious that the city was taken, but their were still vigilantes to be cleansed.

Myst turned to see a demon leap at him. It was fairly humanoid in form, although it was blood red, with six eyes and wings. He kicked it with one of his huge iron boots, knocking it on it's back. He then cut it's head clean off with one swipe of Klinge. Both it's body and head then evaporated into a red vapor. The despair and anguish in the air powered him, adding to is strength.

He looked over to the portal, seeing that one of the demons was picking off the acolytes that where maintaining the portal. It was about eight feet tall, and was fairly mismatched as far a anatomy goes. It ripped the head clean off of one of the chanters. Myst leaped for it, his axe going for it's abdomen. It nearly swatted him to the side with a bloated arm coming out of it's back. Myst then picked himself up. He threw his axe in an arc, cutting the demon in half. He then went to pick it up. He noticed that the portal was starting to fade, due to the lack of acolytes sustaining it. He noticed a man on the ground, raving in insanity. He walked over to him, then put his hand over his face, dark energy flowing to him. The man then stood up, his eyes blank. He walked over to the portal and began chanting with the rest of the dark priests.
