Grabbing a towel she looked at Vincent and nodded. She wiped her face as they began to walk towards the meeting. "To be honest...I've never seen so much carnage in my life" she admitted to Vincent. "It's kind of disturbing that some people are capable of doing that" she said.

Karana frowned. Her assumptions she had made earlier about the group called Sentinel was correct, but this was no time to boast. There was still a problem though, a pretty big one at that. "How are we supposed to stop a group that we know next to nothing about? There isn't really that much information on them. Plus they've been operating in secret for all of these years." Karana ran her fingers through her hair in frustration. "To think, we have been fighting each other for a little over twelve years," she said indicating the Cleanse members and the Eden members. "When we really should have been trying to work together and try to find and stop Sentinel."  Yukina listened as Brian and Renault explained their findings. So there really was a group called Sentinel. She knew next to nothin about them. She had only heard bits and pieces. The bits she had heard was not enough information to go off of. It seemed everyone in both groups thought that they didn't exist up until now. Still, something didn't sit right with her. "Remember when we were all children, before we became what we are today? Someone came to us in our dreams and made us sign a golden contract telling us that we would receive whatever our hearts desired if we did so? Well, we all did and look what happened. Do you think that he might be behind all of the carnage? Maybe he is somehow connected to Sentinel." she suggested. She wouldn't have been surprised if the others disagreed with her, but Yukina still remembered that dream as it still haunted her from time to time.

"Thanks Sai." Evie said with a soft smile. She then turned her head again, to listen to the two leaders let them know what was going on. "The Sentinel? They're real?" She couldn't help but ask. So some other group of gifteds were creating all this carnage? Destroying the Cleanse base, the mall, the military base, and killing all those people in the process? "Sounds like Nasrin's kind of people." Evie muttered under her breath. "As the rest of Eden already knows, unless your in need of some meaningless carnage I'm not alot of help to anything related to a fight. But...I could try and tap the city cameras. You never know, there might be one in tack somewhere that caught a glance of this other group. Having an idea of what these people look like is better then nothing." Evie suggested.
Evie fell silent when she heard Yukina talk about that man. She didn't like to think about that night, the night she first got Nasrin. Nasrin on the other hand was grinning in her mind. Nasrin unlike Evie adored the man who gave her life, and would very much like to thank him someday, if she could ever get control over their shared body long enough to find him. "I really hope your wrong Yukina. I've...never told any of you this but finding that man is one of the things Nasrin has always wanted to do most. I hate to think how she would react if he has anything to do with this."

Elizabeth listened intently as everyone spoke up. She lowered her head deep in thought thinking about the man with the Golden Contract. She looked in surprise at Evie, as she found out what her 'power' was. "But why would that man from our dreams give us all powers when only a few would follow him? Surely that just makes the opposition to him more powerful?" She shook her head, confused to the man's motives if he was the leader of the Sentinel. Maybe it made sense if he didn't know what they were like or if they would join him or not, but surely if he gave them all their powers it would be easy for him to see how they would react? She looked around at the others, wondering what they thought about it.

Jolene leaned against the wall and listened attentively although she was sort of drowsy at the moment. "I agree with Karana! If we keep fighting each other it'll give the Sentinel's a chance to take over..",she said and covered a yawn. Then she turned to Elizabeth. "Well maybe the he saw darkness in their hearts? Like revenge..",she said as the image of the night she last saw she last saw her sister. Everyone had secrets but she was unsure if she should tell Brian about it now.

Jewelle was gnawing on a popsicle stick when she received the Madman's orders. Using her shadow for travelling can be tiring since it uses more energy than attacking. "Time to join the others then..Sorry for dragging you around here, don't worry you can have the governor's blood, I don't think the others would want it though..",she snickered, her shadow actually gave a soft moan. With that she sank into the darkness of her shadow and slowly emerged from behind the driver's seat. "Ooh!~ Guess I'm a little late for the road trip,eh?",she smiled with her eyes glowing in the dark. Lucas seemed to be sleeping and disturbing him would be suicide. But then again, she's just as bored as the others but they were eager to get to Arizona. "Are we there yet?",she teased as she pulled a few strands of his hair.  Forever enemies...

Elizabeth turned as as Jolene spoke to her, listening and nodding. "That makes sense for them joining him, but does that mean he saw darkness in each of us as well? He must have had some reason for giving us our powers, and we're not all on his side." She sighed at the thought, quite aware that she still didn't know if she'd killed her mother or not. "From the sounds of what they've been doing they obviously have warped minds. I just don't see why he chose us as well as them to give powers to."

Lucas eyes half opened when Jewelle tugged at his hair. He let out an annoyed sigh and turned his blank eyes to the rear view mirror. He found the inquisitive girl and stared at her for a few seconds before answering,"If we were, do you think this car would be moving? Do that again and I'll hang you with the fabrics of these seatbelts." Sleep soon overtook him again after he slicked his hair back once more.

"Could be." Renault agreed. "I mean, as far as I know, most of the people with powers have gotten their powers the same way. They either just some kids with powers or they actually have a figurehead. It isn't extremely likely, but it's a lead." Looking over at Yukina, Renault smirked. "Good thinking there. When we finally go on this mission, you're definently coming along."

Sera had rented a car and was on her way to Arizona. It'd taken her a while to find a good car for a good price, but she was happy to have finally found one. The car was silent, except for the sound of the car's engine, and the jingling of the keys as she drove. She took a deep breath and sighed as she drove, watching out for road signs that would lead her to Arizona.

Brian smiled and looked at them all to think that 12 years of turmoil was drained just like this, in a matter of hours they had all grown tolerant of each other. His smile faded as he listened to Yukina. " Correct. " He said softly. He took a seat and folded his fingers together and rested his chin on them. " The man you all describe is indeed the source of all of this destruction. His name, identity, powers, even point of origin are currently unknown. We at Cleanse simply call him The Mad Man. " He said as he then leaned back a little in his chair. " My father told me this story the night I recieved my powers, he told me all about the Mad Man, or at least what we had discovered. Th man dressed in black waving around a golden contract right? He told you he would grant your wildest dreams and like the children we all were we accepted. " He looked at each one and smiled a lttle. " Motive? Purpose? These words meant nothing to him, he's as mad as his nickname suggests. Why he granted all of us powers when it's clear he only wanted some people to join his team is still unknown to us. I assume it's a sick way of keeping his game interesting, he took on a highly populated nuclear base and turned it into a graveyard. " He said softly, He looked at each one of them and waited for a response.

Yukina was both surprised and flattered that both of the leaders agreed with her. She just hoped that she would be a big help on their next mission. She looked at Brian. "Well, he must have gotten his own powers from somewhere. It would only make sense. If we attempt to find that source then perhaps we can find his weak point. If we take him out, then wouldn't all of his members scatter? It's clear that without him, they wouldn't know what to do, so shouldn't we make finding information on this Mad Man our first priority?" she asked her wings bristling as she stretched them out.  Karana listened as Yukina spoke. "I'm not so sure. Finding information on The Mad Man is next to impossible and if Brian's father didn't have much information on him, what makes you think that we'll be able to find some ourselves? I'm not disagreeing with you exactly, but there has to be an easier way. Sitting around here talking about it is not going to stop them. We need to get out there. The only way we are going to learn anything about him is if we go toe to toe with him and learn what we need to know about him on the battle field." Karana growled. She was itching for a fight, her claws flexed and her teeth bared down.

"You're the police so your team will worry about the purpose. My team and I are going to worry about just stopping him and helping your team. We are Eden and we help whoever asks." Renault then listened to Karana's reason and nodded disapprovingly. "Nope. Can't do that." he said against the girl's idea. "If we go out and even look for them, they'll know that we know...you know? We have to let them think we're ignorant to them still. I say we wait for them to strike again. If they strike in a group, capture any one. These killers will probably leave the weaker one to die. Unless of course they're like a cult and protect each other." Renault pulled a stool out from beneath the island that sat before the door leading upstairs. He poured himself some tea and drank half the cup then looked at everyone else. "Any more ideas? Because Karana is right about one thing. We need a plan and we need one fast."

Karana sighed. "It would be so much easier if we had someone on the inside, like a spy of some sort who basically acts like they are working for him, but in reality they are just doing it to gather information, which they would send back to us. It would be too risky though. The dangers are very much real and we wouldn't want to put anyone at risk. Plus there is the chance that the Mad Man would figure it out as well. He doesn't seem like the type that is easily fooled. IF we were going to send in someone undercover, it would have to be someone who was very intelligent, someone who has brains as well as brawn and could fool them all." She sat back once again began to absently curl the end of her tail around her fingers. Yukina shook her head. "A spy would help, but like Karana said, it would be too risky and he already knows about all of us. After all, in a way, he created us all. He's basically like a corrupt form of some god or something like that. Who is to say that HE doesn't have someone here undercover spying on us right now listening to our every word? I'm not saying that I don't trust any of you, but you never know. Look at how we were all almost fooled today by that Brian look-a-like? Provided, that guy didn't turn out to be as intelligent in the end, but what if they send someone who is smarter to spy on US? What I'm trying to say is, shouldn't we make sure that we ourselves aren't being watched before we start making plans to go undercover and spy on him?"

Renault wasn't at all suprised at Yukina's suggestion. Although he could manipulate the terrain, that didn't erase his inherited mortality. He could've been killed and replaced a long time ago. He smirked confidently in the thought of his next question for he knew there was no way he could fail. "How do you suggest we go about proving we are who we say we are? I'm up for the challenge myself should there be one."

Alex was silent as she soon spoke, having taken in everything that was said. "He may not be dumb, but why not give a gifted a chance?" she asked him. "Personally I think a spy would work" she said. "I even volunteer myself. I think I'm the most 'savage' of all of us and seeing how when I received my powers, I killed a whole girl school..." she trailed off. "It's simple, I asked to be recruited for the fact, I don't feel like I belong with any of you all. It would make perfect sense, we would just have to finesse the story" she added.

Evie bit down on her lip, staying silent. She had an idea, but she knew that the Cleanse group likely wouldn't like it. "What about...Nasrin?" Evie suggested softly. "So long as our memories are erased from the last ten minutes...she could do it. Nasrin wants to join the Sentinal, and she'd do just about anything to find the mad man. And...well....she's easily as savage as the rest of them. The Mad Man would know that the best, he created her." Evie looked over at Renault. There were ways to cause amnesia, all the things she needed were already down in her lab. Neither her nor Nasrin would remember anything of this conversation, and Nasrin wouldn't be able to reveal anything to the Sentinal if she found them. "Renault...Chesh has my whistle. I could be watching everything while Nasrin is in there, and as soon as she's alone, you guys could use the whistle to make her change back into me, and I could tell you everything."
Evie glanced over at the other girl who volunteered. It seemed out of everyone there, the two of them were the most likely candidates for the spy position. The girl from Cleanse would be the one that would be able to get information back faster, though the Sentinel would likely question her sudden change in loyalties. Nasrin would be able get in to the group without many questions, though she would likely kill more innocent humans on the way of finding Sentinel. Evie looked back over to Renault and Brian once again, to await their verdict. Nasrin, Alex, or both.
