Khalifa watched as both Jhelae and Roulin parted way in opposite directions, Khalifa knew Roulin just needed some time but he couldn't possibly be puttign this all on himself could he? If he was he was wrong, they were all in this together and Khalifa wanted to make sure he understood that so he followed after Roulin. "Yo Roulin...." He called out knowing just how the man was feeling.

Jhelae quickly filled her plate and got herself some coffee. She found a table big enough for all of them and sat down. She began eating in silence while the others were getting their breakfast or lunch. When would this all end? When would they find what they were looking for? What if the Heralds already did have the artifacts that they needed? No, that couldn't be true for if they did have them, they would have already managed to kill all three teams by now without much effort. To her it seemed like the Heralds were playing a little game with them and they were the guinea pigs. They were running around like chickens with their heads cut off not knowing which way to look anymore.

Roulin lifted a cinnamon bun onto his plate followed by two pieces of french toast, a waffle and three link sausages. Gazing at his full course meal, the empty bellied boy's mouth hung agape almost starvingly. "Food...yes...." His diet wasn't consistant what with the revolutionary business and all so when food was in sight, he was there. After stacking his plate, he turned to Khalifa who was calling him. Still somewhat saddened, he put in a half smile and responded,"Yeah? If you're looking for sausages, I just got the last three and no you can't have them."

Khalifa grabbed a plate for himself before looking back up to Roulin. "Well if I wanted them I would simply try to take them." He stated with a smile but of course he was joking. "But anyways, you seem a little down Rou, we all are and how could we not be knowing what happened to Australia." He started while filling his plate, he substituted the sausage with bacon and left it at that. "But you know we are going to get through this. Look how far we have come and we aren't about to be taken out now. This worlds balance will be restored but for that to happen we must all be at are best." He stated grabbing himself some orange juice and making way to the table that Jhelae had picked.

"Yeah. I guess you're right...thanks Khalifa." He walked behind him to the table and sat so that he was Jhelae. He knew that she hadn't had the best time of her life, but he wanted to cheer her up. He didn't know how to and that didn't help. He insert his fork into the link of sausage and proceeded to eat it. He chewed slowly, thinking of a conversation starter and when it came to him, he spoke. "So if you were this book we're looking for, where would you be? Some place exotic or some place where everyone would see you?"

Demios had gathered his food and then found Roulin and Khalifa. He herd Roulins question and thought "Hey Roulin all this talk of balance has got me thinking what if the book isn't hidden somewhere strange or difficult what if it's hidden somewhere so obvious no one expects it or somewhere thats equally distanced from everyone" He said. He knew it was kind of a random answer but if you thought about it, it would make some sense.

Jhelae slowly chewed on her scrambled eggs while waiting for Roulin and the others to sit down. When they finally did, she looked up in mild surprise at Roulin's question. That was one thing she had never given much thought to. She was forced to think for a few moments. "I suppose I would do my best to hide myself, perhaps disguise myself as your average looking novel so that no one would suspect that you are a valuable artifact that could either help save or destroy the world. I would want to keep an as low profile as possible." She took a sip of her coffee. "I most likely wouldn't want everyone gawking at me."

"I thought of that Demios for hours. I still come to the conclusion that his book is somewhere no one has been or seen. If someone had seen it before, they'd at least say somet--oh yeah. The Heralds will just kill them..." Roulin went back to eating his waffle as he took in Jhelae's contemplated answer. "I think I'd be in plain view much like The Purloined Letter. I sit before you always, yet you don't see me you know?" After aking another bite of his waffle Roulin continued,"What if it doesn't exist on this plane of existence? That'd be a bit depressing huh?"

Demios frowned as he herd him. However at the mention of the Heralds his eyes went black and his plate shattered. He shook his head "That was weird" He said. He looked at his shattered plate and frowned. "I wish we had my grandmothers spell book it used to have all sorts of information and knowledge in it" He said. He smiled slightly at the memory of her "She said it had the spell she had used to find out I would one day inherit a power like hers" He said. He sighed Roulin had a point the book they were after could be anywhere.

(( Because I've been so epicly busy this week I haven't had much time to post in anything I'm sorry about my absense crying Also my phone's battery isn't holding a charge for very long and it keeps saying limited service no matter where I go.......It's a conspiracy....... ))
Dante looked back at Noel and sighed. " It really doesn't matter, whoever gets the job is going to hate their life. Unless they have a grasp on reality. " He said with a laugh.He stood up and smiled. " Alright that's enough relaxing. I'm suprised no one has tried to blow us up in a while. "

"Yes. Yes it was weird. Then again, we're all a bit on the weird side." Roulin assured happily before finishing off his waffle. All that was left now was the pancake. After hearing Demios further, he choked on his pancake and patted his chest as he relieved himself. "Whoa, whoa! Time...you mom has a spell book with all sorts of information? Wha..." Roulin looks up at Demios somewhat dumbfoundedly before his expression lightened. "Laharl! I mean Demios! That could be the book we want!"

Jhelae looked up suddenly and rather hopefully when Deimos mentioned the book that his grandmother had once had. If this really was the book they were looking for, then they could end all of the pain and suffering that the world was going through. "Do you know where your grandmother kept the spell book?" she asked both curiously and hopefully. "It couldn't hurt just to see if it's really what we're looking for. Although chances are, the other teams, plus the Heralds could already know what we are planning. They seem to be very skilled at that. Still...there will always be certain risks that we have to take."

Demios looked at Roulin and frowned "It was my grandmothers book" He said. He looked down "She died shortly after I gained my powers...Che's soldiers killed her" He said. He wondered "When I was sent home the day when we first saw the heralds I had decided to look through the attick but the book wasn't in the stuff she gave me so I'd guess she hid it somewhere" He said. He frowned again "So we either would have to search places she might have hid it....or we find a way to talk to the dead" He said.

"Demios!" Roulin shot up from the table and the people occupying the surrounding the tables looked at him questioningly. Some even feared for the boy's mental health. "Um...sorry everyone. Sorry...just..just go back to eating please." Roulin lowered to a sitting position and slid his plate to the side. His hunger was replaced with a thirst for knowledge and adventure. "Well, Jhelae's right. We're pressed for time, so I say we try to talk to the dead. As usual though, we don't know where to start...hey Demios. Where did your grandmother use to live?"

Demios looked at Roulin he had a point it was worth a shot. "She lived in a small town on the Oregon coast" He said. He remembered it was a pretty small town at the time but she owned a fairly large place there. "The only problem is if it's anything like my house was it will have a failsafe so if anyone tries to get in who isn't welcome it will try to eliminate them and destroy itself so no one can find whats in it" He said. He frowned "If anyone else were to try and enter the place before us it could make things even harder" He said. He wasn't sure if it was the book they were looking for but at the very least it would provide some help.
