The Graveyard

[Bittersweet Sundown]

Izumi chuckled. "Just thought it was nice to do. I've met other gods before, one time just because I didn't bow he abused me and threw me into the ocean." Izumi said with a sigh. "Such a a*****e.." she mumbled.

"Sounds Greek." Nero laughed. "They're so overdramatic!" he smiled then paused. "Of course, the Summerian gods are even worse." he muttered and remembered meeting one of their gods.

Izumi laughed too, then sighed. "And what did they to you hun?" Izumi asked.

"Nothin' really, toots." Nero shrugged. "The god I met just kept going on and on about how people have no respect for gods anymore." he sighed and waved his hand dismissively, accidently calling a gust of wind to blow around the graveyard, shooting dead leaves into the sky. "I can sorta get what he's saying, but, eh, I don't really care much."

"Oh, I see.." Izumi said. She put her hands on her hips, and shivered a bit, cold now from the gust of wind.

Nero saw Izumi shiver and snapped his fingers, stopping the wind. "Whoops, sorry 'bout that, toots." he said and licked the lollipop again.

Izumi chuckled. "It's fine." Izumi said and smiled. She took the lollipop from out of his mouth, tilting her head to the side, and then licking it. She put it back into his mouth.

Nero blinked as his eyebrow twitched. "Why would you do that, toots?" he asked, offended. He frowned and took the lollipop out of his mouth. "Why's everyone taking my candy? You're, like, the second gal to do that!" he sobbed.

Izumi sighed and looked at him. "Sorry." Izumi said, and wipped his tears away gently and kissed his cheek, hoping it would make him feel better.

Nero blinked a few time in shock at the kiss. "You flirty dame." he chuckled and rubbed his cheek.

Izumi chuckled too and rolled her eyes. "At least you stopped crying!" Izumi pointed out. "Feel better at least? And besides, it's just candy, not gold." Izumi said.

"But it was my lollipop..." Nero sniffed.

Izumi sighed. "I gave it back, and you are like a little kid still aren't you?" Izumi said with a chuckle. She patted his shoulder, and smiled.

He just grumbled something and licked his lollipop again.

Izumi rolled her eyes and crossed her arms across her chest. "Fine then." Izumi said, and walked away from where he was.
