" I think I might know how that person feels, but I guess you're right." Spike said as he watched the man begin to leave. Was it possible that the angel could have feelings for him? That seemed unlikely, and even if there were a chance he wouldn't tell. That would mean facing the alpha to try and win the angel, and it was already made clear who would win between them. Wincing at the memory, Spike put his hand over his stomach (or what was left of it) and looked out the window. Back in his room, Dragon frowned and turned his head to reject the spoonful of soup held up to him. Ever since Phoebe left the maids practically surrounded his bed. They flustered him with their presence and weird noises - like cooing; some "ooh~"s and "aww~!"s - and would giggle whenever he stuttered. Many kept asking him if there was anything they can do, and no amount of telling them no or mentioning Phoebe would stop them. In fact, it would only make them smother him with questions about the young master, at least when they weren't asking him how he worked out, whatever that meant. He had gotten to the point where he tried to ask them to go away, but many were persistent. One, the very one right now, insisted that he should eat and tried to feed him soup. She had huge, purple pigtails and a chest just as big, it looked bigger each time she leaned towards him to feed him soup. She'd either pout or comment over how adorable he was or even playfully scold him whenever he'd turn his head away from the soup or tell her that he didn't want any. He even tried to tell her that he couldn't eat it even if he wanted to, and she just played it off as him having never tried it before and would try to feed him again.
