Tana just spent the entire night reading the manga Akumetsu from cover to cover, all eighteen volumes. So tired... I recommend it for anyone who likes revolutionary megalomaniac terrorists trying to reform a country with a "noble" sentiment in their terrorism mixed with some obnoxious scifi.

Edit: I believe I just became jealous for the first time in years, and it was jealousy due to a manga. u_u He was completely the kind of guy Tana used to be and wishes he still was. Ah well, I suppose there's nothing I can really do about it.

I'm trying to make decisions and I really ought to be taking the GRE's. I think I just finally am at a point where I don't want my worth determined by number produced by ETS, yet again.

My only problem is paying for it. I'm pretty motivated to go. I think I've found my calling: I seriously want to go into academia.

The one and only book that ever gripped me to read it all in one sitting was oddly enough . . . Star Wars Episode I. The novelization was handed to me and it was a case of "just one more chapter" that lasted from mid-afternoon to dawn.

Just be careful about longing for a persona. I just recently helped my brother with that same issue. He was longing for a sexual adventure with a person he knew, but at the same time was not sure about throwing away a 12 year relationship to do it. I prompted him to be very careful and realize that if you have to tear up something to try a new bit . . . it may not be worth it. In your case Tana, we all change, evolve, and grow over time. The persona is static, and you may miss it- but don't let it consume you.

Paying for college is the pain, isn't it? sweatdrop Grad school is no joke . . . and my mind was repeatedly blown when I went on colloquial. I mean, radically altering the trajectory of my academic life. I know this is the right path, just adjusted what I wanted to do with it.

PsyD in Clinical Psychology is now changed to PhD in Counseling Psychology.
