Yeah, I'm in the Mages Guild and some missions involve killing a cult of Necromancers. And since I got recommendations from every guild hall from every city I gained access to the Arcane University. I got my own staff there that paralyzes people. I also enchanted some gauntlets so they boost up my strenth (I named the gauntlets: Fists of Heracles).
While the Mages Guild has its benefits, I still find the Dark Brotherhood the best guild. It's the assassins guild. And it had the best mission ever. I had to go to a manor with some other people to find a treasure in the house. However, in reality I had to kill everyone. So, one by one I picked them off. No one knew that I was the assassin. One guy actually thought that another guy was the assassin and killed him for me. mrgreen
