Hello, I was just randomly invited here...
I'm not sure what to say because I stopped playing Gaia back in 2006 coz 'm always awkward...I never felt like I fit in.

I do freelance work of digital illustrations, fan art and original characters, and I am a housewife.

I also play games. (Currently: FFXIV, Pokemon (Sun), Monster Hunter Gen)

Blind Blindness

I live in Miami, and it is ALWAYS warm here. It doesn't get cool/cold until January. We had a somewhat cool week in November or early December, but now it's back to low 80's, not quite as hot as the summer but still too hot. And wow, you baked 6 pies?! I don't know how to bake or cook. Need to ask my friend to teach me to bake something lol..if my parents didn't monopolize the kitchen (which they always do), I would just following youtube videos and cooking recipes.

Because the lung cancer is in an inoperable place, according to the veterinarian, there's not much you can do. And chemotherapy isn't particularly effective for cats with lung cancer, maybe radiation therapy she said, but it probably wouldn't extend the life by more than months. Also according to her, cats don't tolerate chemotherapy as well as dogs. And we don't want to put her through that. Pain medication should help a bit. Anti-inflammatories such as prednisone. She gets to take it tomorrow or the next day until the end of her life.

There's always the possibility toys won't be liked. My friend got a toy from someone that she didn't like xD...also as we both said, they are productive gifts.

One person in my family has rheumatoid, and I think the rest have arthritis as elderly people. My dad has a host of health issues, and he has arthritis in his hands. I don't have arthritis. lol

Lol yeah, haven't eaten Pizza Hut in a while. Should eat from there, yes yes. I did get though Dominos and Papa Johns gift cards, so I will definitely be using them.

I'm too lazy to save for so long and quest from people for really nice items, although I do have a wish list. I've been getting so many anonymous donations lately (thank you our lovely guild anonymous gifter), and Gaia seems to have been generous with their random gifts as well lately (also, see guild link in main forum, I got Gaia Cash) that I've been really stacking up on some nice items for the first time in my almost 10 years on this site that I can really start playing more with my avatar now, whereas before I was really limited. Which means more frequent avatar changes. I am really thankful and grateful for that.

My dad was saying we're supposed to have a cool front within the next few days. So great. I can't wait. Just really disappointed with all of this hot and humid weather. It was so humid outside it made the entire house feel muggy inside. >.<

Cooking and baking isn't hard. Although for some it might be. But it does take practice. I say if you're going to try cooking anything. start off small. Like try learning how to make French Toast. ^.^

I honestly didn't even know they had chemotherapy for dogs and cats. That's pretty interesting. I'm just sorry your kitty is not doing so well. I hope her medication helps her out.

This one time for my birthday I had gotten a toy that I already had. I ended up keeping it and said they were twins. It was a Barbie Doll. 4laugh

My Mum had a bunch of health issues. She passed away a few years ago. She had diabetes, arthritis, muscular dystrophy. She had a brain hemorrhage as well as a stroke and a heart attack. That side of the family seems to have health issues having to do with the heart as well.

That's great you got pizza cards. Pizza sounds so good right now. I didn't eat much today. So food sounds yum. I may just snack on a orange. I love oranges.

Here are two more freebies:

I get lazy too at times. This month I actually felt motivated to save up gold and buy a few gifts off of my friends wish lists. Also buy coins to hand out to those that I felt could really use it.

Hello, I just got a random invite so I guess I make one of these posts now?

I'm Tigroshau, Tigs, PK, Tigro, Tiggy, whatever you feel works best. Tigrosharu is a name respond to IRL too for some reason.

I'm 26 or 27, but my body can't seem to decide whether it finally wants to pass puberty or not. My logic is that chronological age is meaningless when your biological age is off by negative ten years minimum.

I joined Gaia back in 2009, feels like a lot longer.

I am originally from Austin Texas, but I currently live in the frozen and depressing Midwestern world of Wisconsin. Where they use cheese in ways I never needed to know about, and can never forget.

I post random stuff depending on my mood, everything from quotes about anime, youtube videos, to what I have termed " Flibberty Comedia Spamese" a unique form of spam language. Oh and I sometimes start talking like a character from Alice in Wonderland, and using the word Jabberwocky. Or I quote Monty Python and That Mitchell and Webb Look, and on some days write original lyrics.

I like many things including the usual drawing, writing, video editing, voice acting, reading, free climbing, and blasting metal music out of my window while driving in my 20 year old BMW. My other interests are so varied that I can't possibly post them all, but I also like video games.

I'm a member of relatively few Gaia Guilds, so there's that.

I'm not a regular in any forum, I used to be but that was a long time ago.

I love many things, so I don't see a point in listing them.

I don't cuss much, and tend to come across as a rather wordy person. Which makes perfect sense really, I like the words! You should see my idea of a "short story", it's only 20k words!

Offline I am a walking comedy show, but I can't get the nerve together to go to a comedy club. It's related to this trauma thing that occurred in Wisconsin after my family moved, the weird thing is it's apparently location based PTSD. The effect goes away the instant I leave the state, so I can step one foot over the border and all my confidence comes back.

Weird right? Too bad I can't afford to move. xd

I mentioned that car didn't I? Well it's my first car, and my parents thought the best first car for the person who has always had a love of going fast was to give them a BMW. After I err crashed it into a newer..Nicer..BMW..While learning to drive..by backing into it at.. five miles an hour.. sweatdrop

In my defense the rear window was clouded and I couldn't see! So it turns out the cost of the repairs to both vehicles was the car's value at the time, so I got it instead. Makes perfect sense, no way this could possibly go wrong right? Did I mention it's has a V8 engine and I like to go fast? I'm going to let you calculate how this has been, I mean I love the thing, great maneuvering lovely color don't think too much about this. Really it is probably for the best you don't try to think about my driving, I mean I haven't gotten pulled over so that means I'm a great driver right? stare

Of course it does! And nobody has taken pictures of my parking either, so obviously I am the best driver. biggrin

I also have a cat, who likes car rides.

Not my cat.

What else, I like outdoor sports and have stuff for that.

Don't click this.

I'm single, but since my ex room mate chased out of the old apartment I'm stuck at my parents house. Also it's small town Wisconsin, and well I'm not a traditional kind of person.

Currently my focus is leaving this state and possibly the country, either works for me. Life goal involves building an eco home empire and having affordable and unique housing options for those who need them. And exploring and all that, maybe write a few books, have to write about that terminal illness thing one of these days. I have many goals.

I'm pretty easy to get along with, and try to be cordial until you piss me off. Which takes a lot of effort. Overall apparently people like me for some reason offline, I think it's the funny factor. Has to be the funny factor.
Let's see very strong willed, naturally rebellious, amicable, friendly, and goofy with a .0005% (effectively zero) rating of conservatism to my personality. What does that mean?

This is how that personality trait affect people.
"Conservatism is a personality trait associated with personal values emphasizing tradition, duty, moral standards etc. It may not necessarily be associated with political conservatism."
I have one of the lowest scores of this ever recorded, and I beat my previous score too! It was 1% when I was tested at age six. xd
Don't get me wrong I have personal values, morals, and all that. And I respect traditions, but don't expect me to follow them just because you say so. The grand irony is I do like art and history, I just can't stand stagnation. Which is why the Upper Midwest is my personal hell, nothing ever changes here! stressed scream

But yeah overall I'm a nice person and a great driver. Especially the second one, I am the best driver. I use my turn signals!! I actually stop on red! See that makes me better than most BMW drivers by default. Before you ask I want my next car to be a Fiat, because Italy and affordable.

I'm really into science fiction, and mystery series, and real life documentaries, and wildlife stuff, and I'll just insert everything but romance series (here) to save time.

What is my career? Well I'm supposed to be a Graphic Designer and Illustrator, I mean I actually have a degree in it and I'm good. But getting my foot in the door has been a nightmare, I'm better off writing for Cracked until things turn around. Not sure if I'm qualified though...Shut up stomach nobody asked you.

I write fanfics, mostly for practice writing. And I have a very large range of music preferences. Right now I am on a huge metal and punk kick though.
One of my current bands is described in the words you never thought would be put together. They are "Scottish Heavy Metal Viking Pirates", and are exactly what they sound like.

So yeah that's some insight into me, want to trade Pokemon Sun and Moon codes? Or 3DS friend codes? Or just be friends and stuff?

I honestly just decided to randomly ramble on for my introduction.

Hey I'm super sorry for taking so long to reply. This week was my first week working, 20 hrs, which may not seem like a lot but I'm just starting and I'm not a high energy person anyway. Plus full-time grad school when that starts not next week but the week after.

We got a cold front today. For the first time in a while, it was a cool day. I could have worn a jacket. It wasn't terribly cold, though. 50's/60's. I know, right? It's been so muggy and humid. Again, not warm like the summer, but still too much for my taste if it's in the 78-83 degree range, which it has been.

Yeah, I heard it's not hard. You're right that starting small like cooking french toast is better. I have a new job that includes working with adults who have intellectual disabilities, and these are things that they are going to be learning in their classes/seminars/internships/independent living experiences. When I think that I don't even know how to cook things that they will learn how to cook (and to my knowledge, I'm not intellectually disabled. Otherwise I wouldn't have made it to graduate school, right? haha j.k.), but it's kind of embarrassing. sweatdrop I was very unmotivated when I was younger, and my parents didn't teach me anything regarding independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, mechanics, finances, home management, etc.)...and on top of that, since I wasn't a social creature, I didn't learn from friends or their families, either. Yeah, adaptive skills...they are important.

Yeah, veterinary medicine has really advanced. Right now she's on a steroid. It's supposed to increase appetite and thirst. She's happier now that her ecollar is finally off tonight. We'll see how the incision area looks, and hopefully she can remain with it off because her quality of life is definitely better that way. Still, we know it's probably a matter of time, much as we hate to say that.

Lol barbies need each other I guess...they're barbies

Awww, I'm sorry to hear that. My dad has diabetes and kidney failure, and my dad's brother died of lung cancer. So...I can understand that health issues can really impact people's lives. I hope you are doing okay, though.

Oranges are nice. Apples are nice. Carrots are nice. Grapes are nice. I guess those are my favorite fruits xD...- the carrot, that's a vegetable. xd I also use the pizza cards for things other than pizza, like chicken wings or garlic bread. But Papa Johns didn't accept my gift card, so if I have that problem again, I'll have to call customer service.

Thanks for the freebies! People in this guild are sooo generous! heart

I bought things off my friends' wishlists as well. I have definitely been a seller and consumer this month relative to almost every other month.

Howdy~ I'm also from Texas(but I'm somewhere in the South). It just got cold here yesterday. Which I'm so happy for cause before it was hot and humid and made the house all muggy inside. >.< How have you been doing? Did you have a nice Christmas? Mine was pretty sweet. Happy New Years Eve~

What sorts of things do you like drawing? I used to draw. I haven't in a while. Sadly. What kind of music do you listen to? I like a lot of different genres. Rock, techno, indie rock, indie pop, trip hop(not to be confused with hip hop), and others I can't think of.

So you like spooky things and Halloween? Spooky as in horror? I love horror and Halloween. It's my favourite holiday. I like horror games, horror movies. I like playing video games as well as board games and card games. Like Monopoly, or UNO.

Hiya!~ It's okay, I understand. ^.^ How did you like work? I'm not a high energy person either. It could possibly be because of my disorders or my meds. Maybe both.

We also got a cold front recently and I fricken LOOOVE it. Seriously, this cold front has been the best thing that's happened this week. I was so tired of feeling gross in the house. Ours has been in the mid to high 50's.

Well don't feel embarrassed. One of my sisters friends who's in her thirties now didn't know how to boil water when she was like 20. And that was because she relied on her boyfriend, now husband to do all the cooking for her. I believe you can learn how to cook. Just start off slow. You can even try making Macaroni and Cheese. That's like one of the first things that I learned how to cook on my own when I was like 10 years old. It's really easy. Start off small. Like try making some scrambled eggs if you like them with some toast.

Well try to enjoy this time now with her. Take photos with her or take photos of her. Play with her with one of her favourite toys.

I didn't really care for Barbies much to be honest. When I was little what I really wanted were cars. Hot Wheels. Unfortunately my Mum would tell me "No, those are for boys." Then she would say "I'll buy you a doll instead." So then I'd end up coming home with a doll, that I would play with, but seriously just wanted a toy car. Later on I would go "Treasure Hunting" in the yard and dig up all of these holes, just looking for treasure. Surprisingly I found two metal toy cars. One of them was black and the other one was orange. I remember cleaning them with soap and water..Then playing with them and having so much fun.

I'm really sorry to hear about your brother. I hope you're okay. I'm okay, thanks.

I love all of those things. Carrots, fruits, veggies in general. Why didn't they accept your gift card? Are gift cards not allowed to be used there? That's so strange. I had Papa Johns once. And they not only messed up my order, but there pizza wasn't that great. To me it tasted like vomit. I like cheesy garlic bread, especially with pasta.

You're very welcome~!

Sounds like me. Then next month one of my friends has a birthday, so I need to start checking out her wish list and start saving up. sweatdrop

Hello everyone~ I uh, haven't done a sort of introduction like this in quite a while... so I'll just get to it then!

~ ~ ~
My name is Shezeu, don't mind being called just Shez though.
Age 25
Gender female
Member of Gaiaonline for about 7+ years.

I enjoy the horror genre very much be it movies, anime, manga, video games, or books.
I also like to listen to just about any music with the exception of country. I mean there are country songs I'll listen to... I just don't go hunting them up if I'm in a music mood.
I love to draw but haven't had much chance to lately...
I used to roleplay a lot but after many years of having little to no internet access I kind of fell out of RP'ing. I might pick it up someday, not sure though.

shezeu

Welcome to the guild, Shezeu! I enjoy the horror genre as well, and I like listening to music! Lol not hunting them up...I do know what you mean.

Been on Gaia for 10 years. 7 years is long though.

If you do ever want to pick up RPing again, we have our roleplay subforum.

You did quite well with your introduction. We certainly hope to be seeing you around. biggrin

Blind Blindness

Then next month one of my friends has a birthday, so I need to start checking out her wish list and start saving up. sweatdrop

Yeah...life has a way of making you not high energy. I guess high or moderator or low energy...all has advantages. Maybe moderate's the best, I don't know. There are disadvantages to being low energy, but I imagine there are disadvantages to being high energy as well. It depends on how the person uses that energy. And to answer your question, I am still getting my feet wet, but so far I'm liking the challenge and what I'm learning.

YAY for cold fronts. Mid-50's is nice. A little cold for me...I prefer the mid 60's, no more than mid 70's high. Still nice.

Oh wow. Yeah, I can learn how to cook. Most people can learn. Sometime when my parents aren't monopolizing the kitchen, or when I'm with a friend we might actually bake something tasty. haha

Yeah, that's what we're going to do. Thank you.

I liked barbies and feminine things, but I also liked cars. Mostly I liked to bang them and make car accidents LOL.
Oh wow, you just found two metal toy cars? I wonder who put them there? That's very interesting. And good that you had the sense to clean them up haha...that's some real treasure hunting as a kid, when you dig in the yard and actually FIND something really valuable

They accepted my gift card. Now I have $2 something left on it (pizza+tax+tip costs $23 lol...papa johns is expensive. Lmao...well yeah, don't worry, many people don't like Papa Johns. I like their pan pizza, but got tired of their regular cheese. Hey, it's a New Year. Maybe I'll find new food to eat...lol

Gaia is expensive.... wink
