Darksiders I focused on war, and was nothing short of a series of dungeon crawls for redemption with a great evolving story. Angels and Demons both had their reasons for fighting War and helping him at times. It was a lovely story and a decent game that I enjoy again and again.
Darksiders II feels more like a MMO, with online options, and the repeditive series of quests that may or may not have any decent reason for being, and the only real reason to keep ******** grinding is for better items. Death looks different as you equip different items, but honestly, I enjoyed the previous one more. You don't even get the ingegral choice . . . ressurect the Nephilim, or restore humanity . . . which makes the entire first game moot! If the humans are back on Earth, then the endwar didn't do any permanent damage, and War went through all that shite for no reason. That, and they pulled the same card a second time.
Death sacrifices himself at the end of the game in a movie, but isn't really dead because at the same time, War broke the seventh seal which ensures that there will always be four riders.
Yes, the game company that made it did go belly up, as this was to be their saving throw . . . or death knell. Turns out it was the latter.

I ******** love Ronin Warriors. What's more, I loved playing as them in RP, and have made sure that several of the Warlord super attacks are in my Bleach Character. The "Quake with fear" using a ksurigama is a perennial hit with me. Yes, the chain and sicle thing is called a ksurigama, and that show made me love that weapon forever.
Hell, I'd take any armor . . . and I'd rock that thing into oblivion!!!!
