My mom found a cicada stuck at the bottom of my dad's car window. It was kind of amusing, she just picked it up by the wings and flicked the carcass away.

Years ago, I've perfected the method of typing with just one hand. It's not as fast, but at least i'll make less mistakes and have some time to rethink the words to say. biggrin It works, and the arm heals faster than the leg. Besides, I want to walk, not with a wheelchair and stretchers. XP

You have proven your point. Should it be necessary; I will shoot you in the arm and not the leg.

Glad to hear. Now then, not wanting this to seem like a spam of sorts, could you have a look at my little RP project, AFTERMATH, and see if you could be interested? I'm in need of getting more people, but they don't seem to notice it's existence since I've heard from no one (except for Umbrage) about OC entry.

Sure thing, but would you mind posting a link to it here so I don't have to search for it? I haven't quite figured out how to navigate the layout yet.

Here they are, one's the OC placement for what has been approved, the other will have the main RP and storyline. Hope it helps biggrin

I'm very sorry that I never replied to you D: I just moved for college and I pretty much spent this whole month getting ready x-x I'm in the process of actually moving into my dorm right now but I can maybe look into your RP like next week??

I've never seen one of that series of vids before, though I have heard about them. 'Twas a good first one for me, because I love Tesla.

Ah yes, college season revving up yet again. And for the first time in years, I'm not part of it! biggrin

This year I'm going to a commuter college, so I'm missing out on the whole dorm experience. I'll miss it, but free laundry is nice.

I find myself being a grumpy old man . . . people saying "I'm too busy" and such. Perhaps I am being horrible at it, but I work nearly a full-time job, do at least part time school, likely full time there . . . and maintain my family of wife and kids.

Yet I see so much die out this time of year of people who just don't have time.

biggrin that's quite alright with me. I'm also getting a lot of stuff going on (brain scans for shiver-attacks that have been getting a lot worse over a year, college prep so your not alone on that part, and also helping out with nearby school with a program that may or may not happen this year, all still skeptical really) and I've had days that I just don't get on. So yea, take your time in getting settled in and we'll see how it goes smile your good.

Not that people don't have time, per se, but when forced to prioritize certain things get sidelined.

Stability results were moderately high which suggests you are relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic.

Orderliness results were moderately high which suggests you are, at times, overly organized, reliable, neat, and hard working at the expense of flexibility, efficiency, spontaneity, and fun.

Extraversion results were low which suggests you are very reclusive, quiet, unassertive, and secretive.

trait snapshot:
clean, secretive, does not make friends easily, observer, hates large parties, risk averse, perfectionist, reclusive, solitude loving, more practical than abstract, does not like to stand out, high self control, intellectual, mind over heart, very cautious, takes precautions, respects authority, irritable, emotionally sensitive

Quote:

Your element is Shadow: Indifferent, unusual, gentle and a complete mystery. No one tends to know quite what to think of you because you camouflage your emotions so incredibly well, almost as well as your thoughts. You are unpredictable in that no one knows exactly what your going to do or what your capable of and you've made sure they never will. You are quite the wallflower but deep down inside is a kind and very intelligent person. You are capable of love but unless you let some light into your shadowed life you'll have a hard time with your relationships. People are a mystery only because they all seem too superficial, you would rather be somewhere else. Away from all the noise, perhaps putting your feelings into a form of art. Such as writing your feelings into a poem or journal, or perhaps painting a picture. The shadows make you feel comfortable and you don't like to step outside your comfort zone or let anyone else in, the spotlight terrifies you. You are truly a mystery.

Quote:
Social Attitude Personality Test: http://slackhalla.org/~demise/test/socialattitude.p…

Radicalism 72
Socialism 62.5
Tenderness 37.5

These scores indicate that you are a tough-minded moderate progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a liberated atheist. It appears that you are cynical towards religion, and have a suspicious and unsympathetic attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a political centrist.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, an egalitarian with several strong opinions.

My MBTI is INTJ/INFJ (nearly neutral on the Thinking/Feeling scale).

My results for the test you linked to:
Quote:
Radicalism 22.5
Socialism 12.5
Tenderness 71.875

These scores indicate that you are a tender-minded moderate conservative; this is the political profile one might associate with a sincere clergyman. It appears that you are trusting of religion, and have a compassionately humanistic attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear laissez-faire capitalist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as right-wing.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a pragmatist with several strong opinions.

This concludes our analysis; we hope you found your results accurate, useful, and interesting.

I'm an ISTJ . . .

Interesting results, mein freund. Especially how you would be a good clergyman while I am distrustful of religion. sweatdrop

Gaia is considering a marriage system that'll be interesting...

Anyways, that link refuses to work on my laptop, so alas I cannot take that quiz. And alas, I cannot remember what my MBTI is either... Probably because I tend to get a different one every time I take it! Booo.. I remember that I always sit right on the edge of E-I though, usually leaning towards introvert.

Edit: WAIT WAIT NEVERMIND I FOUND MY OLD MYPERSONALITY.INFO PROFILE. It says I'm INTP... I'm gonna take it again, since I haven't touched this account in yeeaaaars.

Edit2: Oh my flying ******** this is exactly what I mean. I took it again and I'm ENFP. I've gone from the Engineer to the Advocate what the hell happened.
