Ceramic Armor is a Ceramic Synthetic substance stronger than most all metals. The amor on Tanks that blocks explosions... Thats Ceramic.

I lost like 200 songs...... I'm downloading them over agian, from eveywhere I can, but my itunes purchases are freakin useless they don't back up correctly scream I got back most of my data but I lost like a ton of music and porn

True, but the tanks have thick metal under between it from my understanding. I'm glancing through some youtube vids now that test steel against ceramic, but from what I'm getting the ceramic is lighter and easier to use, but also has to be thicker and its filled with weakpoints.

My dad built and then drove/ commanded Tanks. The metal under it is for the Tank itself. The Ceramic is resistant to explosions. I was watching the Military channel about it. Ceramic armor is the newest armor and can't be pierced easily. It absorbs the strike.

So yes its lighter and has its advantages, like absorbing a bullet rather than making it richocet, but it is not durably stronger than steel or most metals. Just a 'for your information' tip before you commit to this ceramic idea. It sounds good, but maybe not as good as you would've hoped.

edit: In my opinion, you might want to even capitalize on both of their advantages by using steel surrounded with the ceramic, like how the tanks are built. That's only if you're not afraid of the magnetic weakness that comes with steel though.
