I think that if you use any website you are known to be hacked, no matter if it's just for fun site or one that gives out fake money/gold.
You take the risk by just using the internet of being hacked of REAL cash.
And identity theft has happened to me before.
"Internet hate machine", anyone see that video? It's kinda' funny, but true. He was hacked of pixels, some people get their phone numbers posted on the internet. :X

jeez that is so low and horrible; I really wish gaia could keep this hacking problem under control, it's really getting rather ridiculous. All I ever hear about nowadays is how users get hacked, it is really getting to be a serious problem. u_u

i think if i were hacked i wouldnt come back =/ i don't think i'd beable to get the things i lost back. all the time and trouble people put in to their accounts and working hard.... =/ hackers make me sick

I've known about auto hacking cookies, usually the code or adress is way different, and I'm pretty carefull, so if on gaia the main login page ever pops up randomly again I'll just leave gaia or go somewhere else, I also change my password pretty frequently... but yeah, that really sucks...

moosemaniac some people have no respect. They don't understand that the person worked really really hard to get the stuff they have. Uhhh I hate hackers. In fact one JUST PMed me threatening to disable my account if I didn't give him/her my password.! Same here. They said I did something "bad" and that if I didn't give them my password, I would get "ban". No, seriously. They said "If you do not fill out this form in 5 minutes, you will get ban.". I reported them. They said they were an NPC in training! And they were wearing the clothes that cost 2g. Sad, huh? Some people need to learn to work. And Devin, no, that's not what it means.

Wow, that's really awful.
If I was hacked, I don't know what I would do... I worked so hard to get my coco. And then for the people like wagnas who have like 100 times more than I do and get hacked... Man, I can't even imagine. crying
That makes me kinda scared to shop in the Marketplace.
And then I've heard of this other type of hacking where they can tell like... every key you type on your keyboard. That would be like ten times worse because then, not only could they see your passwords and hack your accountes, they could also see the password for your paypal and stuff and rob you of real money...
gonk I shudder at the thought...
