Byako Moonbase ~The RP~

Hating to give up her shield but seeing no alternative. Lutia drew the metal hammer. It was a small handheld size that looked like an ordinary carpentry hammer but it had a unique ability built in. The hammer could absorn any metal material and increase in size from it.

Pressing it against the frame of the turret, Lutia planning to remove the turrets covering so she could get a look at the inside.

As soone as Lutia drops the sheild, the turrnets start to fire on her, but stop once again as she nears one of them. The turret shudders a bit as the outer layer is drawn into the hammer. Insides it had what you would expect form a device such as it was, firing mechanism, targeting comuters, power source for the ammo and such. What stood out the most was that there were no wires or circitry. Instead thin crystal wire cover the inside connecter to bluish crystal plate. The design would look strikingly familiar.

Lutia the Jarian leader was not well versed in technology though this did not stop her from understanding most forms of weaponry.
Yet everything on this ship struck her as naggingly familiar.
Seeing the crystals inside of the turret filled her with a deep suspicion. Pulling the feather from her hat, Lutia waved it over the inside of the turret.

Back on the amphibian flag ship, a Jarian eye moved across one of the ship walls directly in front of Viva. The eye of the emblem opened wide and began to show in detail what the feather was being moved over. Transmitting it in a fashion similar to the Jarians door.

Viva's eye widen a bit at the images come in. He reaches out and tries to link with Lutia's mind. Over that distance though, the link was weak and his thoughts would have come across weakly, but still though.

*What are you looking at?! *

At first the spells on Lutias glasses blocked the incoming mental transmission but as Lutia realizes the source, she removes them so she could just barly make out what he was saying. Blindly, Lutia moved the feather about to show the cannon itself, followed by a sweep of the room that included the other turrets presently targeting her.

Lutia lacked mental abilities so she could only hope the images would be enough of an explanation.

Viva was confused by the images. They looked Ancinet, but were more advanced than most technology.

*This doesn't make any sense. It looks Anceint, but this is a layout I've never seen. What would tha Ancient want in space? The never had that much intrest in off planet affairs.*

Lutia Moved the feather from the open turret to the other turrets. Then, focusing the image back on the open turret, Lutia moved her hand around.

Words appeared on the Jarian eye. 'How do I take control of it?'

Viva sighs and thinks for a for a moment. He sends her a mental image of breaking a certain few crystal wires and using the pieaces to interlock others.

Be warned though, it might not work, and the weapon might have a anti tampering failsafe on it.

Lutia nods silently at this and puts her glasses back on, cutting off the mental connection. Sticking the feather in her hat, the Jarian eye shifted perspective, becoming Lutia's point of view without Lutia knowing.

Drawing a ring, Lutia sets it onto the ring finger of her right hand carefully follows Viva's instructions to the letter. On her guard for any unexpected surprises.

After placing the last pieace of crystal in its place a holographic panal appears above the turrents. The text was in the anglar geometric shapes of the Ancient language. Though it seemed to be controls for the turrents on a whole. They seemed be on a closed network seprate of the rest of ship. Text scrolls by before stopping and seveal cross sections fo the individaul turrents appear each flashing green. She had complete control of them, as long as she could figure out how how to operate them. Nearby, a blast door slides open revealing the door that would let her leave the hangar.

Hoping Viva got all that information as it scrolled past, Lutia drew her mawer and cast it outward, checking on the status of the turrets and seeing if the text changed in any specific way if it did activate.

The turrents track the mawler but do not fire. The turrents were obiviously still online, well their tracking systems at least. When the mawler had pass though tough, a holographic image of the mawler outlined in red appeared on the screen with a X shaped icon flashing on the screen. Most likely a command for the turrents to open fire on it.

Lutia removes her glasses again so she could hear Viva's telapathic messages. Removing the feather from her hat, Lutia held it in front of the hologram.
Words appeared on the glyph Viva was viewing asking for a means of disabiling the ships security from here.

Viva sighs a bit and thinks though what he just saw. After a moment he responds.

Nothing you can do form here. These turrents, matter of fact the entire hangar seems to be seperate form the rest of the ship. Proably a security featrues if someone ever boarded the ship. You'll have to make your way further in and find another control console. Be careful though. The readouts show that the atmosphere in the hangar is dangerous low.

Thankful for the air mask Mila provided her, Lutia jumped down and cautiously passed through the hangar door, switching out the chomp pole for her trusty mallet.
