We had to dissect a squid in the summer when it was 85 degrees outside. The room was already stuffy with the doors open and the squid smelled really bad. gonk

So in my morality class (thank god it was only for the first semester), we were talking about all sorts of moral and ethical topics and we were covering abortion and illegal abortions and my teacher (principal) didn't really care that as eighth grade girls we are like really sensitive to that. She went into all this detail and half of us nearly threw up and one girl actually ran out of the room. And it didn't really help any that they guys were asking for more details.
I'm from south-eastern Florida so I'm not really used to the cold and I'm seriously able to run forever in the heat. So we have to run laps in the middle of December and it's freezing outside and we had all the doors open in the gym. I couldn't breathe and my lungs felt like they were going to collapse on themselves. And coach pushed us to the brink of exhaustion. And I was on the floor on my hands, well hand, and knees. And my other hand was on my chest cause it felt like it was about to burst. And my friends noticed that I wasn't looking good after running. And I'm a cross country runner so running doesn't usually bother me but the cold was a little colder than i was used to cause I'm used to constant heat and humidity. And so my friends are like "Oh my god, is she okay?" but they couldn't do anything so they told me to get some water, and that didn't help. bad idea, water. cause coach made us run more laps cause we weren't going fast enough for him. and after a couple more laps i was on my knees again and we were doing drills. so James walks over to me and starts yelling at me and i couldn't breath correctly and Carolyn started yelling at him for yelling at me and I'm still on the floor. And so Amanda comes and helps me up and just takes me from PE and walks me to the nurse. And I passed out for like two hours in there under like three blankets with a really thick sweatshirt on. And so I finally go back to class in lit where i sit next to James and he was like "you're such a p***y." And I nearly beat the kid for saying that to me. And now I'm under a suspension threat for being aggressive.

Last year we had to dissect frogs and our science teacher was gay. She gave us plastic knives to use and we didn't get gloves or aprons or masks or any protective gear. Thank god I was absent for that.

Lol, someone fainted when I went to see Mit Romney speak....I didn't see the girl, but I know that it happened because my SS teacher told us and a lot of other people saw it.

there was this one time in my local convenience store like 8 years ago... we were in there to buy some sandwiches or something, and we're standing in line and my sister suddenly just like freezes and falls over. just like that. so everyone there was freaked, and the police came. it was kind of scary (i was only like 5 or so).
another time, around a year later, i was getting into bed, the light was still on, and all i remember doing is i blinked. next thing i knew, it was morning and my sister was shaking me and yelling that i was late for school. i had no idea what the ******** was going on.

We only have to dissect hearts at our school. I missed the first one, thankfully, cause I was on boring reception duty. But I had to go to our class anyway and deliver our note. Someone brought it a Ox Heart. It was HUGE o____________O
Our teacher dissected a lung once in front of us. She brought a bike pump and blew it up and down as if it was breathing. Kinda freaky.
My friend fainted in class once. They had just watched a video on needles, and she hates them. And the class was just getting getting up to leave, and she fainted, hitting her head on the side on the way down.

ive fainted once, it was from heat exhustion though and after skool. the only air conditioned room was in teh football lounge which is in the boys locker room. sadly i was asleep the entire time. i woke several times when they pounded on teh window though haha.
ive seen a lot of people fait though....ROTC for fed inspection we gotta stand 2 hours in the sun at attention/parade rest. people drop like flies in the hawaiian heat, haha, specially since my school is located in one of the hottest spots on Kauai. i love my rank though it give me the ability to roam around for no apparent reason lol rofl

I've only fainted once...
that was on September 11, I was in first period which was Girls Choir...not a good mix...
I'd had a really bad feeling since id woke up so I knew SOMETHING was going to happen, but...
when I found out the towers were hit that's when i fainted...

I've fainted once and almost fainted twice. I fainted at the hospital bacause my Great Grandmomma was there and blood dripped from her eye...it was like...ew. But the two times I almost fainted were at school. First was because we were watching a video in health (this was in 5th grade) amd some girl started picking at some huge scab on her arm and...ugh. I went to the nurse's office office and my face was white. The second time was last year (7th) when my math teacher went into detail about a disease she had in her finger...extreme...details...*eye twitch* But our school is weird. At our school, we can pick on a certain teacher by asking if he's gay and we can stand on our desks, stick up our middle fingers while singing, "We are the champions, my friends!" Yet we can't sit on the outside stone tables. We also have a illiterate teacher and guess what she teaches. Language friggin' Arts! She...cannot...read... stressed But our school is weird... stare The kids who act the stupidest are in the AG class. YAY US!!!
