~My Dragon's Heart~(1X1)~(Burningly Filled)~

Karelym cheered as she 'won', reaching the shore and watching as Coryn went off, presumably to get firewood. She watched him until she could no longer see him, before sitting down beside a little pile of rocks that she quickly arranged into a decent fire area. And then as she sat back to await Coryn, she allowed herself to think of all of things that had gone on in a few hours time..she was here, with Coryn..Karelym's vyallah was alive..

Coryn came back from gathering firewood, smiling, but also thinking. It was amazing, that Karelym had come and now she was here with him, just like old times. If only he didn't have to change back into a dragon . . . As he positioned the firewood, more depressing thoughts made their way into his mind. She would eventually have to leave to lead the kingdom . . . and he would be left alone again. That thought tore at him, making him feel depressed. To see someone you thought you would never see again and then having them taken away from you again . . . it might just be too much for him to bear . . . However he tried to shake off these morbid thoughts and just enjoy the time he did have with Karelym.

Karelym watched the other return with a warm smile, unaware of his morbid thoughts. "Hey look, firewood! You got it all by yourself, Cor," she teased. Only with Coryn had she ever been so lively, so playful, and it was obvious to anyone that saw him together how much they favored each other..and to the more astute eye, how much they loved each other. Karelym sat leaning against a log, watching Coryn and patting the spot beside her for him to sit down, "Just like old times." Apparently Coryn wasn't the only one reminescing. They'd camped outside together many times, talking beside the fire and looking at the stars until they fell asleep, often in each other's arms.

Coryn just shook his head at her teasing, but was smiling. Before sitting next to her, he changed into a dragon and breathed out a small stream of fire, lighting their fire. He then changed back from the dragon form and sat down next to her, holding her close. He didn't want to miss any time he had left as a human, and he couldn't think of a better way to spend this time than just being with Karelym. "It is very much like old times isn't it . . ." he muttered as he watched the flames dancing.

Karelym watched the other shift, light the fire, and then shift again. Was it that effortless for him? Did it hurt at all? But she didn't want to bring up a possibly uncomfortable topic by asking so she stayed quiet on the subject. As she was held, she leaned against the other and placed her arms over his, clasping their hands together. "Aside from you being a fire-breathing menance and all," she teased softly this time.

It was her way of dealing with her anxiousness..of knowing that Coryn would eventually be a dragon again, trapped in this place..and that eventually, she would have to return home. But she wouldn't rest until she found a cure..surely as future queen, she could find something? Karelym spoke from her thoughts, continuing in a soft tone though serious this time, "I won't lose you again, Cor..no matter what it takes..I'll find a way to free you and bring you home.." Karelym brought one of his hands to her lips and kissed it gently.

"You have no idea how much that means to me Kar . . ." Coryn muttered and pulled her against his chest, placing his lips gently on her head. He sighed, finding yet another reason to hate his dragon form. He couldn't spend time with Karelym like this when he was a dragon. He missed this so much when he was alone.

Karelym was pulled against Coryn's chest and snuggled into him, reveling in the tingle that erupted when Coryn's lips touched her head. "It means we're together again, vyallah." Her eyes drifted above the fire to the stars, they always looked the most beautiful in places like a forest. She pointed a finger to a little section of stars and murmered, "Look, Coryn..it's our dragon, Draol." Ironically, the constellation they'd found together and named Draol, or bard..was a dragon. Karelym had thought of Coryn everytime she'd looked to the sky and seen it, missing him..

Coryn smiled as he looked at the constellation. "Well now you have two dragons . . ." he said remembering the times he had looked at it. He always wondered if Karelym was looking at it at the same time, or if she could even see it from the castle. Now they were once again looking at it together, and he savored the moment, trying to commit every detail to memory.

Karelym listened to the words and considered it a moment before chuckling, "Ah, but only one of my dragons, has me." She tilted her head to look to Coryn, mischief dancing in her eyes as she asked, "Can you guess which one?" Karelym was focused on the moment, enjoying herself as she had not in a very long time.

Coryn smirked teasingly. "Can you give me a hint?" he said playfully. His heart felt like it was doing flips in his chest, hearing her words. Over his five years of solitude, he had come to realize that he really loved Karelym. It was more than just a close friendship for him, and he honestly hoped that she would return his feelings. However, he was just a bit too scared to tell her. Just in case she didn't see him in that way.

Karelym watched as the other smirked teasingly, finally getting playful. Aha, so Coryn wasn't so far off after all..not that she'd doubted him. "Well.." She moved one of her hands to tap her chin thoughtfully, "I suppose so.." Removing the hand, she looked back at Coryn and tilted upwards, pressing her lips against his again, more firmly than last time. Warmth assailed her as she tingled, before pulling away reluctantly and a bit dazedly. Karelym smiled, "Have you guessed yet, or do you need another hint?"

Coryn was dazed but he smiled back. "I have a pretty good guess . . ." he said softly and placed his lips on hers. He then pulled her closer, never wanting this moment to end.

Karelym was prepared to give a retort, but was silenced as soft lips were placed against hers as she was pulled closer. This time, the warmth practically burned as it flooded her veins..only Coryn could make her feel this way as well..only her vyallah, her beloved. Her thumb moved in a circular motion against the others wrist as she leaned further against him.

Nearby, a pair of lovebirds gave quiet twitters to each other that were chuckles, amused and cheered by the sight of the two lovers. Which was what the birds were calling them, Karelym listened as a faint blush dusted her cheeks though she didn't pull away.

Eventually Coryn broke the kiss slowly to breathe. "Kar . . ." he breathed out softly, too stunned by his own actions for words. Get over it you idiot! Tell her already before your two hours are up! he mentally shouted at himself.

Karelym felt the other break the kiss and beathe her name, he appeared to be thinking about something. She tilted her head and brought a hand to stroke his cheek softly, "What is it, Cor?" Karelym's voice was gentle and a slightly concerned.
