Aule,Manwe,Tulkas,Orome,Ulmo,Lorien,Mandos, basically all male Vala because they kick a**. The Female Vala are sort of boring.....

stare how could you forget your favourite.........recently I've taken I liking to Ulmo. Seem to be reading alot more about him then any of the other Vala.

O dear, I think I'll have to reread that part, all I remember about the beginning of dwarves is their first meeting with elves in the shortened version of the Silmarillion.... sweatdrop

Because with no dwarves, how would they have mined mithril, and ultimately how would Frodo have ended up with such a beautiful (and useful) mithril shirt? surprised Hmmm, that bit of the Silmarillion involving Aule might be worth a re-reading soon...

No dwarves mean Frodo would be dead 3nodding , then again no dwarves would also mean the balrog would still be sealed safely underground....
