Um... Well, it depends which one you're talking about. The one with red spots and a blue jacket is Toad. His name should not be changed. However, there is a toad with red spots and a red jacket. That one could be called Der. Others could be Neerg, Elprup, Knip, Egnaro, Kcalb, Yerg, Nworb, and Derolocitlum... Some of those actually sound pretty cool...

They all sound pretty stupid to me. But just calling him "Toad" seems kind of racist.

The playable characters should have been:

Mario, Luigi, Peach and Red Toad, ala Mario Bros. 2.

On a lesser note, yea I think the toads being used in general are silly.Why not just use Wario and Waluigi? They had the right idea in Super mario 64DS ^^;

That's actually a pretty cool idea. It could just be a Mario Brothers game but they act cool the whole time.
