They need to stop spending their energy on making the game look fancy and 3D and start spending it on making me another amazing 16-bit Sonic game mad . Kinda like what Capcom did with Mega Man 9. Otherwise, might as well just make a new Sonic game that isn't retarded. 3nodding
A lot of people really liked SA and SA2. If they could just make an SA3 without any huge flaws (such as this), that'd be awesome.

Well, yeah, but making a Sonic Adventure is kind of hard right now...
Both Adventure games had an huge a** cooperation between Sonic Team in america and Sonic Team in Japan. Sonic Adventure 2 mostly, and if you can't say "Hey, sonic is in San Francisco!" the first time you play with him on the game, then you can't see where I'm going with it.
What happens is that, the storyline savvy team that worked on the adventure games, they don't get much to say anymore. Unleashed can be resumed to "Let's get all chaos emeralds to save the world!" and "sonic's a wolf". Plus, I have to mention most of Sonic's dialogue with Chip about "Friendship" that made me change the voice acting to Japanese. The game is good, has its flaws, but the storyline was urgh-generic.
If they gave us another Sonic Adventure, probably we wouldn't have the same people working on it as we had before. We would have the same team that made Unleashed, which is now the developing team for the mainstream games; and the heavy storyline of the game one expected for an Adventure title was pretty much doomed.

One of the most relevant person I can think of that was thrown out or decided to quit the developing team is Yuji Naka himself. Yeah, that one. He was not in the Credits. But to be fair, he was in the previous games', and those were being piles of fail lately...

Maybe if our prayers aren't absorbed by the darkness like they usually are, this new Sonic game could actually be worth playing and owning, (kinda similar to New Super Mario Bros, POSSIBLY...) otherwise, we have another craptastic bargain-bin game.

Why can't Nintendo just buy Sonic or something...? To take it out of its misery, really...

Interesting, but it's not like it's first 2d sonic game since genisis like a lot people seem to acting like. there was sonic advance and rush.... which are pretty awesome, especially rush.

But, then again, it's already been proven that this isn't a sonic game, it's a pikachu game. 3nodding
